They're not like that; I tested this earlier today in an arena. Two menders healed each other twice.
When menders are revived they are reset, so they can thus revive another mender again after they've been revived.
If you're saying to remove that capability, then sure.
As for the others, "Walk it off" achievement should simply be revive another with your last spark of life if anything. Sadly, if I even wanted that new achievement it would take me forever and a day to actually blow through all these sparks of life.
I can see an achievement being more like "Giving's greater than receiving!", and have it be something like "Revive your teammates 25 times with sparks of life". Would see people wanting to revive each other more often at the very least.
Forging achievements could simply be added in. Mineral ones can remain legacy.

In my opinion, it was quite an easy achievement to obtain in the first place (If you always played with others of course). You could however just create a new knight and use a spark of life there.
I actually prefer your idea to mine about the "Giving's greater than receiving!" achievement. I believe that it would help encourage new players to play together.
I think it would be a nice idea for Three Rings to update the achievements so they are relevant to the game that it has become today. That's all.
Change all those achievements and add the forging achievements.
Wolvers/menders don't really bother me.
