So, it goes without saying that the playerbase appreciates new, fresh content updates.
I'm curious about what categories of things you guys want the most out of. I'll make a list of possibilities:
1)Enemies that fill niches more appropriately, such as a beast-themed silkwing, Construct-themed "heavy" enemy, etc.
2)Enemies with unique attack patterns, like Stalkers, Tortodrones, Giant Lichen Colonies, etc.
3)Weapons that are made available in more damage types, such as a Shadow leviathan blade.
4)Weapons that come with a creative side, but may be broken in some way (mixmaster, tortofist).
5)A greater multitude of Clockworks Arcade room types, such as scenario rooms, arena rooms, or even puzzle rooms.
6)A greater multitude of unique levels, such as the Collector, Crimson Chaos, Danger Mission maps, etc.
7)Original, flashy, less-expensive cosmetic additions. The default recolored armors don't count for this.
8)Increased artistic "effects" for the game as a whole. This includes particles, animations, etc.
9)Increased usage and relevancy of items currently in-game, such as Minerals, physical manifestations of Materials and Tokens in the inventory view, etc.
10)Anything else not specified. As such, please specify.
I sorta want to know what the forum's community actually wants the most when it comes to new content. This way, instead of being told that the players want un-specified "new content", the devs can actually look at this and see the most popular potential additions to the game.
Thanks!
Filling in niches, such as your ideas 1 and 3, seems bad to me. Too much symmetry among monsters and weapons would make the game more boring.
I'm most interested in new styles of play, as in your ideas 2, 4, 5, 6. Unfortunately this is harder than just filling niches. Just look at the gunner update. There are about two new features there (new magnus charges, Padded armor) and tons of minor variations.

By the way, there's an entire forum for players to give the developers specific feature requests.
