If you have read my list of suggestions, you would know that I had an idea for a promo, the Medieval Event. I personally liked the idea, so I thought I would go more into depth with it, thus this thread was created. I have split the event into a few different sections: the Black Death, the Crusades, and the Mongols.

The Black Death: This section of the promo will have costumes and accesories, new weapons and reskins, a maskeraith reskin, and a prestige mission that all relate to the Black Death, a plague that spread across Europe in 1349 that killed over 25 million people.

Costumes and Accesories: The costumes are going to be a plague doctor robe and hat, and an infected peasant costume. The robe is going to be of similar design to the stranger robe, except with much a much darker color. Along the waistline, there will be a rope that holds up a prismatic wooden cross, two Tier One poison vials, and black wooden staff that runs along the side. The hat will be a cross between the Perfect Mask of Seerus and a Gunslinger hat. The hat part will be a plain hat colored solid black. The bird face part of it will be plain white, with a bit of black paint around the eye sockets. The infected peasant costume will have a shirt and pants part and a cowl part. The shirt and pants will look similar to a 4 star Black Kat Raiment, just brown and tan instead of purple and black and without metal pieces. The shirt will have rugged patches of material sewn onto it and a bunch of random black spots, as well as a pitchfork on the back and a plague aura, which is an aura that makes the wearer appear like their flesh is rotting and they like they are wasting away. The cowl will look like a Russian headscarf, except it is dark brown. Additional accessories include Dark Angel Wings, which are black Venom Wings, and a Cure Vial Bandolier, a vial bandolier that contains cure vials which will be explained later.

New Weapons: There are going to be two new weapons: Bubonius, and Venom Veiler (NAME PENDING). The Bubonius is going to be a black staff with a green liquid at the tip of it. The damage and mechanics will be that of a Fearless Rigadoon and it will have a good chance of causing strong poison. The name Bubonius comes from the disease name of the Black Death, the Bubonic Plague. The second weapon will look like a rat flea, which are creepy AF, and will be a reskin of the Venom Veiler. I need a name for it though :/

Maskeraith Reskin: Just as the name says, this is a maskeraith reskin. It will look like a big rat flea. Nuff sed.

New Prestige: The new prestige mission will be called "The Cure". This is essentially going to be a Gauntlet style arena, except at the end of every arena, you give a cure vial to the little sick gremlin children, then after going through a one way gate, you have to pick up a cure vial, which is basically a big glass vial filled with a blue liquid. The carrier wears this on his back and it does not give MSD. The reward for curing the gremlins is a Cure Token, which can be spent on certain things that I will later explain. In every arena, there will be a random amount of Rat Flea mobs, which are basically the same thing as Sick Bunnies, but they drop 2-4 Sick Tokens, which can be spent on certain things that I will explain with the Cure Token rewards.

The Crusades: This section of the promo will have accessories, weapons, reskins, armors, shields, and a new prestige mission that all relate to the Crusades fought in the Middle East.

Accessories: There are a decent amount of accessories in this part of the event. One accessory will be the Knightly Aura. This aura will look like a cross between the sparkle aura and the grasping aura. There will be a shower of sparkles coming down upon the knight, which will disappear about halfway down the body. At the feet, there will be a pool of golden light that follows the player. Another aura will be the Desert Aura. This aura will surround your player in a darude sandstorm, which will churn and move around the character's body. As the player runs, the sand will trail behind him or her. A different accessory, one that isn't an aura, will be the Crescent Moon, which is an accessory similar to the Eye of Fury. It will be a prismatic 3D crescent moon and star that floats in front of the face. Another accessory that will be available is the Arabian scarf, which is an ivory colored piece of cloth that loosely wraps around the knight's face. The last group of accessories from this section of the promo will be capes. Like wings, capes are animated accessories on the back of your knight. When running, the cape will flutter, and while standing, the cape will gently flow in an imaginary breeze. There will be different colors of capes, as well as a prismatic one to start. But for a more rare cape, you could get either the Arab cape or the Crusader cape. The Arab cape is dark green with a white crescent moon and star in the center, as well as a faint green aura surrounding the cape. The Crusader cape will be dark red with a white cross, and a faint red aura surrounding the cape.

Weapons and Reskins: There will be quite a few new weapons as well as reskins in this portion of the promo. One weapon will be Constantine's Blade. This sword will look similar to a Divine Avenger, except with an orange-red aura and a red wrapping instead of a blue one, as well as a thinner blade. The damage and mechanics will be identical to a Voltedge, except the charge attack which will create a row of 3 fiery crosses, which have a chance of dealing fire. Another weapon will be an Arab Sword (NAME PENDING). This sword will be very similar to Constantine's Blade, except instead of fiery crosses, the blade will shoot out sandy crescent moons and stars, which will do stun. The last weapon will be a reskin of a Gilded Griffon that looks like a crossbow.

Armors and Shields: There will be two sets of armors and shields: the Crusaders Armor, Helm, and Shield, and the Arab Armor, Helm, and Shield. The Crusader armor set will have the piercing and normal protection of the Azure Guardian Armor, sword damage bonus medium, and max fire and stun protection. It will look like regular cobalt armor, except made of really shiny silver and has a red cross on the white cloth drape. The shield will have the same piercing and normal protection of the Aegis, sword damage bonus medium, and full fire and stun protection. It will have the same shape and size as a Darkfang Shield, but it will have a silver face with a red cross. The Arab Armor will have the elemental and normal protection of the Grey Feather Armor, sword attack speed increase medium, and poison and shock protection. The shield will have the same protection of the Grey Owlite Shield, sword ASI medium, and full poison and shock protection. The armor will look like the heavy plate mail, with a prismatic crescent moon and star symbol at the center. The helm will have a prismatic scarf and a metal dome at the top. The shield will look like a larger orange version of the swiftstrike buckler.

New Prestige: The new prestige mission will be rather similar to the actual Crusades, where your knight will invade a walled city. The first depth will be the journey to Gremlusalem, where your knight will go through a wolver-den-style room with wolvers, gremlins, and constructs. The actual room will be desert themed, with sand dunes that stun the player similar to how snow slows a player in the Winterfest missions. Wolvers will wear Aladdin style clothes, the gremlins will wear the Arab Armor, including the Arab Shield on their backs. The constructs will just look like regular constructs, except that the metal will be tan and there will be sand pouring out of their gears. When killing the gremlins, you will have a chance of getting the shield, sword, or armor from the gremlin, similar to the Darkfang Shield. The goal of the first depth is to not die. In the second depth, on the other hand, the goal is to both not die AND take a checkpoint and defend it, like Lockdown. The second depth starts in an orient-styled Scarlet Fortress, called the Sandstorm Citadel (for those who don't know, a citadel is a giant wall that protects the city). You have to run through the citadel while killing gremlins and wolvers. Once you reach the end of the level, you will be greeted by 4 fellow NPC knights, who are the vanguard versions of the OP AF recruits in Breaking in the Recruits, and you will fight in a single checkpoint arena with one goal. Don't. Give. Up. The. Checkpoint. If the gremlins take the checkpoint, the mission will automatically end as if you died. If you succeed, you will get to continue to the 3rd and final depth. This is when you are actually in the city. You will automatically spawn next to the checkpoint arena, and a battle to the the Grinchlin Assault final arena will take place, just with sand instead of snow. If you lose, the mission ends, if you win, you will be rewarded with over 300 Arab and Crusader tokens. This mission is not replayable, but you can find similar checkpoint scenario arenas in the arcade where you can get tokens.

The Mongols: This part of the promo will have accessories, a weapons, an armor set, and a shield.

Accessories: The accessories in this part of the promo in my opinion are the coolest of all the event. One accessory will be the Warrior Aura. This aura will be similar to the Agro Aura, except dark red and will have a much larger, fainter cloud around the character. Another accessory group will be the Blade Scabbard, which will be a curved sword sheath that hangs on a belt that wraps around the armor and will come in a bunch of different colors, as well as dark red with a faint aura. Mongols are famous for their bow skills, so there will also be an accessory that makes the knight have a bow hanging from his back on a leather bandolier.

Weapons: The one weapon from this promo is a curved Mongol blade (NAME PENDING). The blade will look somewhat like a katana, just a little bit more curved and thicker. The swing mechanics and speed will be that of the Winmillion, just without the the projectile, the damage will be that of a Leviathan Blade, and there will be a fair chance of stun. The charge will be that of a Sudurska.

Armor Set and Shield: The armor set will be Mongol armor. The armor piece will look like a Dusker coat except for a steel flap coming down the center of the armor, and a darker red fur color. The helmet will be a steel dome with a red scarf. The damage protection of the armor will be that of the Snarbolax coat, there will be max fire and poison protection, and the bonuses are MSI Low and Gun ASI Med. The Mongol shield will look like a larger Force Buckler without the star, with the protection of the Sinister Skelly Shield, full fire and poison protection, and MSI Low and Gun ASI

Thank you for reading this list, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to tell me!

Wow...

Clearly you've been thinking about this a lot. While it is a bit dark for Spiral Knights, it's definitely a plausible concept for an event. I'd totally take part.
