So I've seen a lot of people complaining about the new forge system, rarities in general, and a lack of new content.
BUT, I believe all of that could be forgiven if...
HEALTH SHARING IS BROUGHT BACK.
For those of you who may not remember or who weren't playing at the time, health sharing was where you could split half your health with another player, right down to splitting half a bar each.
If this was brought back, players might actually have a chance at being able to grind effectively, and you might actually be able to get said rarities and other things that are now so integral to the game.
I don't believe this would impact on the difficulty of the game either, as you still have to rely on the skill of your team, and of course once all players are dead this is where the sparks would come in.
Now, I am not asking for much here. Keep rarities. Keep the silly forge system. Keep the difficulty levels and keep the sparks! You could even get rid of the insta-revive thing and swap it for health sharing if that's what it takes!
FINALLY, the main thing health sharing would help with is the FUN level in this game. I'm sure a lot of us have noticed that sparks have become so precious (and so expensive) that giving one to another player has become something we just can't really afford to do, and I think this is especially sad for the lower ranked knights who don't have the resources to effectively grind to get more sparks. On the steam store, this game is described as a "cooperative adventure", but at its current state, the co-op is severely lacking, for the simple fact that players cannot afford to help their fellow Knight.
Please leave your thoughts/comments on this idea, I'd like to see what other players (new and old) think about this.

I'd prefer GH over the OOO+SEGA combo any day of any week of any month of any year already.
When I read the title, I thought it was about saving games midway through a run. So you might consider changing the title to something more descriptive, such as "Bring back health reviving". And by the way this belongs in Suggestions, but that's not my main point.
Not only was there just a thread about this a week ago, but health sharing is a terrible idea, it just invites leeching and alt dragging while punishing the whole party for one idiot's constant mistakes.
Thanks, but I'll rather spend my +1k sols (of which I rarely use, like two/month) on players who happen to die (and then keep on dying...) rather than WASTE my hp on them, getting to the point where EYE die due to them not freaking being able to stay alive.

Just don't revive them.
HP revives encourage teamwork and make playing as a party a good option again.
Also, if someone's dying too much, they might be encouraged to get better and not be a drag to teammates. This relates to what I was saying about cooperation & teamwork: the one person dragging the team down is encouraged to "git gud", or they'll be kicked and they'll solo the rest of the run without the benefit of HP revives. This in turn leads to them trying to get better so they can play in a team and get back to the fun stuff and, y'know, have it be easier on them.
Also, it'll be easier on them in two ways: HP revives and they're just better now.
I really, really loved HP reviving back when it was a thing, and I still wish it was here.
(P.S. it'd make one legacy achievement achievable again and that'll be cool. If you got it as a legacy achievement, maybe add a new tag like "True achieved" where you get a re-added legacy achievement before it was initially removed.)
The only good thing about that system was the heat taken. But that wouldn't really help us out with the current forging system.
Oh the times when you took a 3* wep to a s6 arena and it got heated up like 4 levels instantly...
Some things I would suggest/tweak are Keep the Emergency Revive for all so soloers still have a chance of soloing missions, And give the option to use sparks on dead squad members. If they're dead, either walk up to them and give half of your HP, or click on their name and icon to give them a SoL for full health, Energy Blast and Attack Boost. Or if you're dead, wait for a mate to split HP, or use a spark on yourself. so that partiers and soloers have equal chances of success for playing missions and levels.
Also, keep the crowns and loot to each person's own to discourage alt-dragging.
TL;DR: Bring back health sharing. Keep everything else.

That's the other problem, people abusing the revive system to gain frankly unfair amounts of heat.

I will not forgive the atrocities of the forge even if health revives are brought back.
I got plenty of sparks still remaining after my SL run and now that I checked I got all the sparks back.

The game was much better with health revives, for all you guys who'd rather use your sparks to revive people instead of health, use your sparks, they won't be taken away. Keeping emergency revive for solo runs would be good, but health revive is certainly much better in all other scenarios imo. Then I'd actually have a reason to not solo things as much, because once a team mate dies, they're pretty much dead for the rest of the level, and their presence makes enemies stronger.
Here's my thoughts on the matter on another thread posted recently.
TL;DR - health revives are bad because one bad player = team is pulled down. Health revives are good because it encourages teamwork. Let's create a new system where we encourage teamwork but don't drag the team down.

I never really thought it through, but im sure that this system could be easily abused. Maybe if - as you said - the ER would be taken away... i dont know.
It sounds like turning back time sadly. And we all know that wont happen. Most likely.
