Heya guys! So, I'm actually a returning player to SK (apparently a legacy knight), and I'd love to actually address my thoughts on the game's current condition (not complaining, I've been stalking the forums for a week so far and it's received too much of that) and also ask two questions since no one on the game knows the answer for some reason. I'll be posting my thoughts in another thread in General discussion.
Q: So as a returning player after not playing for 3 years, I keep finding these golden slime coins, but no golden slime casinos. Info on the wiki seems a bit vague, but from what I interpret, golden casinos are only in the clockworks temporarily for a certain amount of time. Is this true or are Golden Casinos really that hard to find? If they cannot be found at this given time, why should golden slime coins be found everytime but casinos are only found in limited times?
Q: As a returning player, I always love to browse the wiki to catch up on any recent info, and to relearn the ropes (so far I have created a new knight to relearn everything). However, something is wrong with the wiki. A lot of images have red links, making them unviewable. I know there's still the word text but it just doesn't feel right to have all those broken images. Is anyone planning to fix these, and is there any way I can help?
Thanks for reading, I hope you can answer them! :)
The Golden Slime Casino is a sort of mini-event. It pops up occasionally from time to time, but is typically mentioned in the "News" section of the Spiral Uplink. Usually it's around for about a week before it runs away.
The cool thing about the casino is that you can find the coins while the casino is not around! That means you can stock up on them and then spin them all away, and repeat that process whenever it comes around again.
Golden Slime Casinos show up about as frequently as other "event" rooms, and only in "Clockwork Tunnels" styled levels within the arcade. If you're up for it, you may consider joining the unofficial Spiral Knights Discord server. We try to keep up to date with game happenings, so if you're curious about when a casino rolls around (especially since we stopped getting forum and social media announcements about its return as of the past few casinos) it's a great place to find out!
Secondly, Three Rings was let go by SEGA around April of last year, but their games (Puzzle Pirates, Spiral Knights) were picked up by old Three Rings members and formed Grey Havens, which is who is currently running, updating, and supporting the game. There was a rather lengthy transition period, and during that period of time the Spiral Knights wiki got out of whack, having most if not all of its media lost. A group of knights have come together to try to get the wiki back up with pictures, but it's been a slow process, and it hasn't helped that some of our most prominent wiki editors have moved on to other things.
