So apparently SK is getting removed from kongregate and I need to log in there and give the game another account to transfer my knight to (read this on the sk reddit when I didn't get the forums here to work). The problem is that I can't open the game there anymore, after I press play now nothing happens. I can't contact support either because the wiki doesn't work for me and the support portal thingy is on the wiki.

So if anyone has any tips on what to do that would be nice. Don't want to lose a knight I've played on since 2011 :/

I've removed a few posts with incorrect information to lower confusion.

You do not need to be able to log in to request your knights be transferred, nor do you need access to the wiki. All players wanting to transfer a knight will need to contact us via email (support@spiralknights.com), even if you can get online through Kong. If you have not emailed us, your knights will not be transferred.

So I installed the client, downloaded SK. I logged in using this account. I don't have any substantial / worked-on characters here. Can I delete the existing knights on this account and still transfer my Kong knights to this account or is it imperative for it to be new?

I guess I'll turn this into a discussion thread.

Would it be possible to get 3200 E as compensation if we can't transfer the OCH mission set? And we do get to keep the mission rewards, right? I have an asi h UV on the hammer so just doing the mission again and getting a new hammer would suck :/

You will need to transfer it to a normal account, but from there you can transfer your knight to steam via the normal methods, since you will no longer be stuck to Kongregate.

Yes that's fine, provided it's your account. Please be sure to delete the extra knights first.

As noted, unfortunately items specific to your account, like the Operation Crimson Hammer DLC and some achievements will not transfer. We're not able to provide any compensation for these items. Assuming you already earned the rewards and they are on your knight, those should be transferred along with your knight.

No, sorry. It's not possible for us to move a knight from one 3rd party partner to another. It might be possible for you to merge your account into a Steam account later if you meet all the necessary conditions:

How about transitioning from Newgrounds to an SK account? Newgrounds isn't removing SK as far as I know, but it is still inaccessible from most of the updated browsers. Would I be able to request to move knights from a NG account to this one?

This would suck, so I got another question: when will I no longer be able to play with my Kongregate account?
Since I really do not want to lose my OCH aside with some legacy archievements.

Try sending a support ticket in. I would assume the kongregate knights will simply be dropped, so getting transferred over is your only "safe" bet to make.

Can I still play with Kongregate after June 2nd.

Support for Kongregate logins will end on June 2nd. This includes the removal of Spiral Knights from Kongregate. If you want to access those knights, you'll need to transfer them.

If you have specific questions about moving your knight, you'll need to follow the directions provided here:

The two supported languages, Spanish and English, do have announcements in both of their subforums. French and German support has been dropped officially, as noted in this post last year.

Best way to let people know is word of mouth. Most official and unofficial channels have had the news pass through them at this point, so keep letting people know!

One more question:

How do I prove I'm the owner of my knight if I've never bought anything with kreds, never been banned, never changed name? I've called and gotten in-game support years ago but idk if that will prove anything. ppl who were in my party could remember that and pretend to be me. I guess I can list my inventory as well as I remember it. And I'm probably the only one who will claim the knight as theirs anyway (I hope)
