What are your thought's on the new T2 construct boss? It's in the 4th stratum on the next gate, and the acheivment says to defeat the Roarmulus 'twins'. Duo construct boss! post!

It sounds pretty cool although being construct only means I still can't use my new Dark Thorn Blade. None of the prizes are interesting to me either so I'm really only interested in fighting the boss. I guess the Forge Sparks would be nice too.

Boss uses Ion "crash" laser
Reached the new boss, his initiation attack crashed the client. I came back in and there was 5 seconds spikes every 3 seconds!.

Happened to me a few times. Lost some Energy since it kept sending me back to the stratum, etc. etc.

Yeah, there are problems.
Yeah, there are problems. Servers are rebooting in 45 so it can be fixed. It's a fun boss, but none of the guns really appeal to me, so I'll just be killing ol' Jelly Belly some more.

pressed party button. white screen. and then froze, not responding, when i clicked the x to close it "Java(TM) Platform binary is not responding" well there goes my 80 ce =/ woot.

There is currently a problem
There is currently a problem with the new boss (the white screen, hanging client, etc.) and the developers will be making a bug fix release soon. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I wanted to start off by saying I love spiral knights and I understand you Gms make mistakes like everyone else but why is it everytime u release a content update or any type of reboot you guys always have to fix a problem afterwards. It doesnt make any sense dont you guys test anything out?Might as well make it an hour an a half because thats how long it takes for you guys to get it right. However glad you guys released the new content and I cant wait to try it when its fixed.

Was doing the run, got to the level before the boss, luckily my guild told me that the boss is glitched, also when you get to the elevator before the boss level you get hit by thin air and you take damage for some reason, my mate got killed by it haha.

Its the first gate in line (or rather, the last gate to be pushed out) on the left.
EDIT: OHyeah. At the elevator to the last level, we started randomly taking damage out of nowhere and died. :/ Luckily one of the party members reached the elevator before his health was depleted.

I never got to the boss, look at new update dungeon for what happened to me. But what I have to say is that the levels before the boss are REALLY hard.
They will need some getting used to I guess. A ton harder then jelly palace.

You've missed the point of my comment. Theory and application are two different things. There will always be errors and bugs with every update - whether they be game-breaking or a minor inconvenience is a completely different issue. Such is the fate of Java run applications.

Well this is my first Java based game so honesty i didn't know that it there will always be a problem after an update. I might as well wait 2 hours after they release something before i try it then. And you didn't have much of a comment so i didn't understand what you were getting at so i guess i did miss the point. Well that all I got to say on the issue lets enjoy the update :).

My Report on Roarmulus Twins (Spoilers!)
After going through the Ironclaw Factory and defeating the Twins, I have a couple of things to say:
[SPOILERS]
First of all, the levels before the boss were very well thought out, a lot more difficult and obstacle-based, made things more than just hack-and-slash. Also, near the end of the 2nd level and the boss was a nice simple puzzle which required a bit of teamwork if you weren't by yourself.
When I first saw the lasers, I was a bit frightened :P.
The boss in general is pretty simple: 3 phases (2nd phase adds missiles and 3rd phase adds "Incini-Laser") with scuttlebugs spawning to annoy you. Was a bit drawn-out due to the twins sometimes not being in the right place at the right time, but overall much more fun with having to assign roles to the team (scuttlebug-destroyers, button presser and attacker).
tl;dr: While the Factory took a lot longer to complete overall than the Jelly Palace, i'd say it was much more enjoyable with more puzzle-style and obstacle areas.

Those levels leading to the boss were full of lag. The boss battle wasn't too great but I'm glad to see a Gun Puppy boss. Vials don't work on them though kind of like Snarbolax. And the profit sucks. Now the levels themselves were awesome but the lag was unbearable. I need to run back in there and get the recon module lol

I know what wiped out parties
I know what wiped out parties before they got to the boss, the lasers. They were blocked by the polar wall thing but something must've hit the switch so they could get you.
Anyway, Drandor phase 2 doesn't add missiles, those were already there. It adds bombs. Run in terror as bombs fall from the sky! Also, scuttlebugs were already there too. You probably didn't notice them until they were released by Romulus. Careless players may accidentally release them which will make the game harder.
The boss is fun, but I wish it was more rewarding. The twins beat JK any day but unfortunately JK has more money lying around (prob cause he's royalty).
I liked it.
