Why do they have strikers yet

Why do they have strikers yet their charge is the same as a DA but a cursed version? 4 player party they are a nightmare, solo they are very easy to deal with.

Phantoms are easy when you

Phantoms are easy when you are soloing (or at least when I am soloing), but when there is a full party, there is just too much phantoms, they are popping out of everything. Phantoms are not immune to all status effect, they can be stunned or frozen which I strongly recommend everyone to do (freezing or stunning them makes attacking them without getting hit by them easier). They can only be temporarily defeated and after a while they will awaken again. And you will know when Phantoms are coming because they make a weird and creepy noise (that's if you turned on the volume which I don't most times so I just noticed it very recently).
They are the hardest monster (beside bosses, not Snarbolax because it is way too easy) in clockworks and they don't offer you any rewards which is kind of discouraging and depressing. Since they are immune to curse, maybe they can drop a trinket that will make you immune to curse or a Shadow weapon that deals curse only to the monsters not to you (a Shadow Striker the phantoms carry in T1 and T2 which curses monsters would be nice)? The chance will be very very rare of course.

lol what an old thread.

The only real danger from them is the curse charge attack. If you run (without shielding!) until they lay down the cursed sword mark on the ground, it won't hit you. The only thing you have to watch out after they lay it down is which direction it's going, then you can move/block that part of it and continue attacking. Like a faust/avenger charge attack, the laydown is what hurts the most, so if you can avoid that, you've saved yourself from the attack.
