Found any unannounced changes with the merchant update?

Has anyone noticed any changes to gear or aesthetics after the patch that isn't included in the announcements?
- So the Khorovod got a sudden unexpected nerf with the last patch that removed its rock AOE (and honestly I really really just want to know why). Were there exploits with it, like the divine avenger charge exploit that lets you hit through walls (like in the last FSC room?), that made it somehow overpowered? Like, it was a statistically worse sword than the avenger and faust in terms of damage and speed, and its only redeeming feature (the rocks from the charge attack) is gone now.
- I'm not sure about this one, but I noticed glowing eyes on the phantom orbs now. Never really noticed that before.
Players and NPCs now blink if you have graphics set to high.
I noticed lately that Gremlin Menders are a lot more aggressive than I remember. A lot of times they would actually run up to me and whack me with their wands, and I'm like "WTF! NO, YOU DID -NOT- JUST SMACK ME, YOU LIL' PUNK.". They also shoot Ember Bolts more often as well.
Also, the jelly groups seemed to be improved graphics-wise (corrected). I understand playing from the SK client that they were always translucent, but playing from the Steam client, they were normally opaque (Jellies were a sort of dark purple with a gradient, and Lichen's bodies were always black-ish).
And I'm sort of annoyed that the monsters in Jigsaw Valley have been replaced with constructs. :/ Clashes with the theme.
The needle shot design has changed to a recolor of the auto-gun in green, with light green bullets showing. Not exactly necessary, but It means that my sense of achievement when I finally bother to make a strike needle isn't just shown in a colour change.
Most of these were announced. The blinking eyes, the smoother graphics, various bug fixes and rebalances.

They must've added the blinking part, because I didn't see it originally.
The blinking part of the update has been in the patch notes since the day of release.

The Firebreak Helm looks really blurry after the update. It looked fine before. :x
Jellies now have transparency on compatibility mode (they said they fixed the lasers, jellies must have come with it).
Also, they fixed the Charred Court firebar.
I've noticed that the graphic of the Magic Hood lines look a bit more... smoother... idk how to explain it but it looks better. :D
