I would not bother with the Omega shield. There was an update some time ago that added a good deal of Shadow and Piercing damage to Tier 2/3. (And more recently another update that added more Elemental.) Before this change the Omega Shield was still useful, but now it just doesn't last long enough in Tier 3 to justify using it over another shield. If you want a pure normal shield, check out Volcanic Plate.
well, i currently have a striker, ascended calibur, and a brandish. I am planning to get sealed sword soon.
If you want to use Sealed Sword as your main weapon get Vog Cub, otherwise get Skolver because the rest of your weapon are quite fast (especially Striker). However I consider Elemental Defense which Vog Cub offers more common (as in more enemies deals Elemental) and useful and Fire status more serious.
for elemental defense, i already have the magic set which i am planning to craft into grey feather series. but thanks for the info.
Oh well. i COULD double post but i COULD get flamed sooo..... probably shuda went here first.
Heres my other post. Should cover nearly everything you'll want to know about the sets (of course not in ALL PERFECT GODLY DETAIL)

alrighty
i think we all covered the basics.
to be honest, i think im gonna use my calibur the most often and will prolly use the DA mainly for FSC. the grey feather stuff has elementa defense and also has fire resist so it wil be as good as vog. so that means im prolly gonna get skolver. i dont really like slow swords anyways except the DA since it is really good for crowd control with its charge(or so i've heard...)
First, what weapons are you carrying? That plays an important part.
