the chess idea spawned from the trojan, which is a fiend, and shares its head as a knight.
The chess stuff is just building off the origins of the idea.

GUYS! settle down about the chess idea... this was supposed to be a fiend boss, and now u guys are all blabbing about pathetic pawns and barbaric bishops! anyways, i think that the boss should actually be a griever or something, really big. it lays eggs and constantly, grievers attack u from all sides. it breeds randomly, so u cant tell what kind of grievre it will be. or something. ur trojan idea is still good.
