Please...please.. someone help Bosco. Please help that poor knight in the bazaar. He's been repairing that Mecha Knight for months now. Its all he does! Help him repair that Mecha Knight. His hands hurt and the sun is killing him slowly. I beg of you. Help him.
Bosco
yea have him ask us to get 1k scrap metal for a perma knight and then he could continuously up grade it for us and we would have to use our own energy to power it in exchange we could gate .5% more profit more crystals and make it to where u can give him a load out (just 1 shield and 1 weapon nothing higher than 4*) but the load-out u give to him has to be bound to you
You should use 20 mist energy and 20 scrap metal 1 iron gear or two.Or to save time when you get a mecha knight u have a chance to send bosco it or keep it.after you do quest you should earn a sword or something ( they should just add a new sword for this) .
No to the mecha knight kits form the clockworks. That would require enabling bringing vials from the clockworks into haven. Too much coding problems. Think about it, it makes sense.
I think that OOO actually have a quest in mind for him, they're just really slow in bringing it out, and other stuff keeps on getting in the way i.e PvP
If anyone meets the Developers of SK, could you ask please ask "What is the deal with Bosco? You know, that Knight which just repairs that Mecha Knight all day, every day in the Bazzar.
Can you read?I said when you get a mecha knight capsule the game will show you a pop up of SENDING it to him and after you do your arcade stuff you can get the rewards.
Sorry. I was too busy making and editing my own post in response to Noctuelle. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sorry.
Also, your suggestion could very well be integrated into this one: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/18492
Anyways I hope they add a quest for us to help bosco.
This gives me an idea for a Mecha Knight AI arena.
That crazy mechaknight, I remember when it was wearing a green Santa Hat.
So.....
When you do a dungeon, I always get so pissed off that all that perfectly good consumable equipment goes to waste. Mecha nights especially. You guys are right. Maybe your unused Mecha Knights can be given to Bosco in return for Cr or mats like scrap, iron gears and whatnot? Or perhaps even the energy used to activate them?
Or, maybe he could sell them? Because he's always fixing one, you should be able to buy one into the consumables slot of your inventory. I find it kinda sad how he's just like: Boohyah, all I gotta do is fix this! for the whole time you see him. He'll never fix it, and everyone but him knows it. Give him some worth in his life, and provide him with a task. Even Goblin outcasts got a job before him.
@ eternity:
Well, when I said "bring him that from Clockworks", I didn't mean to actually BRING it.
It could be done in the same way as the artifacts from bosses, or that we just have to have the Mecha Kit in our "inventory" (or "belt") when leaving Clockworks ;)
since when does THIS belong in suggestions? All your doing is taking pity on a computer.
So, I guess that if you have it in your belt when you leave the clockworks, some coding magic makes it appear as an artifact in your inventory. And then you hand it in for a reward.
Oh, and NegaZero, we are actually brainstorming ideas about a new mission for SK which involves Bosco.
@ eternity:
Yup, something like that ;)
Perhaps unlocking missions involving gathering special mission-only parts and energizing scattered mecha knights to help with Bosco's research to improve the Mecha Knight's fighting abilities, rewarding you with upgraded mecha knight kits in dungeons. Say, the kits you pick up now are 0*. By doing these missions he could gather enough data and materials to upgrade them to 1*, 2* and so forth to strengthen your mecha knights.
Issues that come up would be limiting their power so that you won't be sitting there with three overpowered tanks that obliterate everything while you stand back to collect the loot afterwards. They would have to be player-based as well, which could bring even more coding problems into the game.
Oh well, the idea is good in theory, but the challenge lies in the practical part. I'd come up with something but I'm pretty much shot right now, so...
Have me excused as I shamble my way out of this thread.
@Nega
Get lost, negga
(u c wut i did thar?)
Yeah, let him give us a quest to bring him some Mecha Kits from The Clockworks!
That'd be neat :D
