Last Weapon/Trinket slots for FSC?

So I'm gearing up for FSC (at last) and I've got my main stuff together, and I just need help on deciding for a last trinket and weapon slot. I'm the kind of guy who has to have the whole set ready before I even go down :> I'm the designated bomber for my party but I don't like being locked into strictly bombing... my current loadout is as follows:

~ Volcanic Demo Helm
~ Volcanic Demo Suit
~ Grey Owlite Shield
~ Divine Avenger
~ Nitronome @ Medium vs Undead
~ Shivermist Buster
~ ???

~ Elite Bomb Focus Module
~ ???

For my last weapon slot I was considering either my Graviton Vortex (I don't have the energy to switch over and start an Electron line D: ) or Polaris for versatility. However I recently acquired a Needle Shot @ Very High vs Undead and from what it looks like I'm not going to be able to sell it for as much as I'd like so I may end up using it, would it be useful?

For my last trinket slot... no idea. I had been considering more Fire resist but apparently that's useless, so... n o i d e a

Thanks for any help!

Quickstrike module and AP

If you actually plan on using the DA in there you'll probably want some ASI, I'v found that the zombies tend to hit pretty fast so you can't land a 2-hit combo without some ASI.

It also helps massively for when you want to shield, you'll get that shield up much faster, as ASI has a massive effect on heavy swords...

my opinion - Get an elite quickstrike module

As for the weapon, you want a piercing gun to do some good damage to VD, most use AP for its long range (very important for VD), decent damage verses the enemies there, high mobility and the fact it can easily shoot through the white enemy barriers :)

Sword CTR trinket (take down those mobs faster!)
As far as the needle shot, they got a really neat buff this last patch - the charge attack is now 2x as powerful.

Damage values around FSC are like ~58(x6 bullets) for normal shot, and about 120 (x15 bullets) without any bonuses - this is regular damage vs skeletons. You can probably nearly kill trojans in 1 charge attack if you dodge and do a point-blank on its back.

Its range is great, and now its charge attack's 'effective' damage vs Vanaduke is heroic.

Blitz needle has been one of my favorite guns for Vanaduke for a while. Mine was a CTR:medium, so I'm extra partial to the charge attack, but regardless, it's very useful.

I disagree. Although ASI is nice to have, but without it you can still land your 2nd hit consistently.
I'll direct you on a guide on how to do it.

Any gun

A gun, any gun, is recommended for Vanaduke's third and fifth phases. Other weapons are rather difficult to use due to his fire belt. Might want to upgrade your Needleshot to use there.

OK, so we've decided to use

OK, so we've decided to use the Blitz Needle @ Very High vs Undead in the last weapon slot. Excellent.

I'm hearing the CTR Med trinket is good on the DA for the charge attack, but conflicting answers over the ASI Med trinket. In both cases trinkets are relating to the sword... any other ideas for the last trinket slot?

Blitz needle may be a problem

Be aware, firstly, that a damage bonus vs undead will have no effect on VD, and also that the blitz needle leaves you a sitting duck during its attack and is usually considered a gun for the more experienced gunner. Also, since you probably wont be using the gun on anything except VD the undead bonus may be a waist of coinage.

Also, as a DA user I don't use the charge often, the second attack does alomost as much damage, has higher knockback and doesn't require charging :P

CTR trinket for DA. A gun for

CTR trinket for DA.

A gun for Vanaduke, even if you're shivermist-ing.

ASI vs CTR

<5 enemies: ASI
>=5 enemies: CTR

Then ure missing out on its full potential.
The charge atk initial swing hits zombies for 600++ compared to the 2nd hits 400+, plus the additional multiple 170+ dmg from the projectile. And the projectile pushes some 'lighter' enemies away, like the zombies in FSC.
