Shoebox said it has something to do with #3 and #8. IMO, pretty easy from there. Any OTHER ideas anyone? What do you think?
Regarding Nick's #10 TTYDKASK.
The point in question:
10. There's lots of secrets in the game, many that we will unveil as we continue to develop the world. However there is one that players see every day that so far as we've seen, no one has ever figured it out. Curious!
The "hints" we found in a discarded cardboard container with a round hole in one side that paints a picture of some of it's rather grim previous purposes in a rather dingy alley (In other words Shoebox told us these were related to #10):
3. The stone puppy in the south west corner of the Haven Town Square is named 'Monomi.'
8. The oldest surviving monster is the spookat. Spookats inhabited the earliest working prototype of SK we ever built. Sadly, this prototype no longer exists in a place that is easily accessible.
I think shoebox is messing with us. Or the original versions of the inhabitants of Haven were sentient Gun Puppies/whatever those stone statues are supposed to even be. And they really hated Spookats.
In regards to Monomi.
'Monomi' means/roughly translates to 'scout' or 'to scout' or 'hand torch' (also used for 'scouting' of course, like you use a flashlight).
Maybe that can help someone figure out this "secret".
bump id like to see this figured out
Spiral knights are scouts that came to scout out new places, but they crashed. Problem solved.
I had already researched this name before, but this topic reminded me of it and lends to my latest theory, which I decided to make my own topic for.
Monomi is a tier 3 rocket puppy who blows up the stone wall. Behind is a place that is not easily accessible. There their are certain types of spookats.
I think that this is going to spawn about a thousand topics regarding that one little secret.
