Dude its just 2 new turrets sheesh fight em more often to see what strategy works. And i am not a noob but no a pro either I AM your average player.

For your information i have done those arenas and yes i did get frustrated the first time but hey guess what i delt with it. If you want three rings to take out the monsters take it out here. This is not for complaining about "how its too hard for you."

Honestly i looped the 3 consecutive arena like 20 times and died only once.

Not to rain on your parade here, but they're fine. Instead of this game having easy, normal, hard, it has t1, t2, t3 (kinda). and if you have problems with arenas (third part i presume?) then you don't have to do it. Just like some danger rooms (mostly fire and shock) i stay away from. Sure there are some people that can solo them and some parties that laugh at them, but i'm not one of them, so I just skip it and carry on having fun.

Hell, I know for sure I still can't solo t3 arenas or FSC but just because of that, they shouldn't nerf it or anything. If they do, then all the better player than myself will feel robbed. And to tell the truth, I actually think OOO is being generous in the fact that all the tiers don't have that much of different payout. I mean, it would be in their benefit for them to make grossly different payouts on each tier since like this everyone would HAVE to be decked out in 5* gear to even be profitable. But it is not, if you're careful, even in t1 you can still recoop your ce cost.

Randomly generated levels mean that occasionally the system spits out something that is completely unfair. But it only occasionally happens, and it's a price worth paying for the variety that randomly generated content can offer.

And no, retrodes and devilites at the same time is not completely unfair. Four rocket puppies in a room all completely surrounded by thorns so that you cannot melee any of them, and cannot even position yourself to make one shoot another is unfair. Rocket puppies and greavers spawning at the same time in an arena, and then darkfang menders and retrodes spawning as soon as you kill the rocket puppies is unfair. But I've only seen each of those happen once.

Hate them whiners, we don't care if you particularly cannot defeat arenas. Get better or get out.

Some of us like the game to be harder. Be a winner not a whiner.

Going on the notion that this isn't another trolling thread, my 2 cents are that if you are getting 12 turrets at once, you aren't paying attention to spawns. 8 turrets spawn after the wave of healer/monster that spawns in the top right and bottom left. The 4 turret group is the second or third (pretty sure it's the second, but feel free to correct me) wave of the other spawnset. If you control the spawns, you can position yourself where you need to be, ie the edges or corners of the room.

Don't be mean to them. They don't know better.

It's okay for people to have opinions and be upset about the difficulty of the game. You don't have to agree...but it shows a fundamental lack of character to come on here and make fun of or insult them for that opinion. Just cause someone plays the game casually, doesn't mean they don't have the anger and frustrations from defeat most all gamers experience.

Can any professionals and veterans show me how it is done, I'm sick and tired of dying in this game, what a waste of ce when it's already so expensive.

I love how someone is upset, and every player in the game (exaggeration, for all of you smarty pants who want to pepper me) comes and flames the poor guy to ashes.

Really, instead of coming to sting a "lol l2play nubcake" and flying off like a mosquito, how about giving some, oh I don't know, constructive tips on how to play better? You tell them to play better, so teach them how to. If I walked into the game and asked someone how some of the basics worked, a "l2play" wouldn't really help me all that much.

Anyway.

First and foremost, I have indeed noticed some rather strange combinations of enemies where they don't belong. I am puzzled as to whether this is intentional or just a mistake on Three Rings' part, but I'm hoping for the latter.

As for survival, it's all about knowing your surroundings, be it enemies and their patterns, the stage layout, or the manner in which monsters spawn. Like mentioned earlier, knowing the spawn-order plays a big part in arenas, and learning them really pays off when you can strategize for a wave before it comes. Knowing an enemy's range of sight, their attack patterns and so forth allows you to read their moves and thus dodge and counter-attack. Gun Puppies for instance can be streamed. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it's used among shoot 'em ups and means to move only when you have to. Gun Puppies in Tier 2 and 3 will fire straight at you, with some scattered bullets going to the sides, if you position yourself correctly you can keep moving little by little to one side while firing a gun. Little movement is done, but you evade the bullets. Another idea is to know when knockback kicks in in a combo. The Calibur line has a knockback with the third swing (and charge-attack), so timing your attacks can cause flinching which means they won't get to attack and you can pull off another combo. Rinse and repeat until killed. Success in this game comes with knowing the environment, the enemies, and your weapons' capabilities. Experiment until you have a strategy that gets you out of the situation alive, and preferably without taking hits. It's all about recognizing different situations and how to retaliate.

If you are unsure on how to deal with certain mobs, watch some videos (if available) and observe your team-mates in action to see how they deal with each situation. Asking how something is done is a nice way of getting an educational answer rather than venting which attracts trolls.

The only thing that really bothers me now i've been at it for a while are mecha knights shocking randomly, without warning or charge up when you're in range COMBINED with any status effect they have from the stratum theme (though this is avoidable, it becomes not so avoidable if you go in for a sword charge, get insta shocked then say, frozen..)

Anyway i mention this because, i now use a gun vs them and do fine. Honestly to me the weapons seem tiered in terms of survival vs dps, for example..swords have the most dps, but are the most risky; bombs are somewhere in between and guns have low dps but carry far less risk - perhaps you could try bombing, or even gunning?

I love the new turret addition. But it does seem like the howlitzer is just better than a gun puppy in general. Plus, it makes guns even more useful then they already were. (MAKE AIR STRIKE TURRET LONG RANGE ONLEH = PWN)
Anyway, seriously. I could understand if you said "why are there feinds in my gremlin arena?!?!" but three rings certianaly didn't make the game too hard.
