depends on what you are rolling on.
Sheilds are the best. You can usually get a max in 10-15 rolls
Armors are the worst. Since if u get a max poison, stun, curse, (or UV like fire on Owlite) its reroll time. So it can take 20+ rolls before you get a quality Max UV.
Weapons are a mixed bag. If you are going for the money uvs, max asi, max ctr, its totally random luck of the draw. If you'll settle for a vh vs something useful, its a little less cost prohibitive. But still, you're looking at 20+ rolls for a good UV. And endless rolls (or serious luck) for a vh ctr/asi.
and probably add 10-15 to some of those, b/c it always feels like less, b/c it gooees so qick.

@Smurd --- I rolled over x amount of Ce, but the amount I did roll and will roll in the future for myself it pays off.
For example: Shadow max owlite shield costs about what 4k to 6k Ce....that 6k Ce can most likely get me two max uv's if I am lucky it might get me more.
I roll on many things I do not focus on one item give each item I want a max uv on (which is pretty much all) about a good 3 to 5 rolls and move on.

My Day
So I started out in the morning logging in here and there....nothing special
Day goes on I was like wow I really need Ce since I couldn't do anything
Bought some ce later on did about 5k worth of rolls....got 2 high's and one medium on some guns n stuff so I stopped didn't really need anymore uv's on stuff....
I poked Razzia about 10 times today....her bodyguard aka Fuzzy Wuzzy is slacking =0
Then I realized we need to throw in some minerals and when I got there....I saw a huge line of people waiting to drop his or her minerals into the gate or Vanna. I was so excited that everyone wanted to see those fiends for vanna they all stood in line to watch. Dumped about 2k of red n purple for fun then I saw fiends and was like oooo this will be fun...
Later I made Repartee Officer we will see how long that last until Providence demotes him....
Then I ran into Cootiecakes told her nicely to shut the face up
Then I told other members of her guild to tell her the same and not to fear her (People have told me she is turning active inactive due to her reign of power).
Later on a friend of mine was like Njthug I am getting trolled what do I do?
I came and I made three new friends in the process of rescuing him....Apparently its wrong to milk cows.
We found out a great new name for Eos called Echo of Dogrock (its so naughty)... Which part of Dogrock echoes? Oooo
Cobalt said a statement where it sounded like something Xerox would say so I had to put him in timeout

Talked to Rilsbane about getting owned by some fire pylups and was interupted by a guy asking why the SGA hadn't formed an alliance with the spiral gods to which i replied i didn't know they exist and stated how SGA was the first guild. The obvious troll then talked some nonsense and said active was the first player guild (not even close). Told him to look SGA up, and I think he rage quit. Hooray for #winning

dastest run ive ever done
today so far i managed to do a jelly run in 30 mins and roar run in 25 and a vana in 45 and it only took me 3 mins for big and squishy and the super roar bros and 5 mins on vanaduke (fastest ive ever done)

My Day Today September 5th
Well...Today was a pretty random day.
I woke up checked my e-mail saw my spending limit got changed so bought some Ce (yay right?)...
So I had a busy day so put some Ce on the market to sell and came back online later tonight to find out none of it has sold....
So I quickly sold some Ce since I knew I was going to do some rolling today....
I saw Muppet online later on and said hello to her since I missed her she been gone forever, and she misses Sketti so I had to cheer her up. We demoted Vlad just to make her happy. Vlad you were not on when I was on....uncool <3. (I promoted you back I think).
Later on my guild mates wanted to do some Gvg....so we waited 30 minutes then people were like Omg its evil and blamed Xerox that he broke it.
So I got the idea to buy a new shield the crest of almire. I finally found it for sale and paid for it.....this is when my day went downhill a little. I rolled a bit on this shield and ended up with only a high uv. Thunderchunks and Providence think I have a gambling problem in Spiral Knights WHAT DO THEY KNOW????
Told Cootiecakes to STFU.....about 1000 times....then made Origo and a few others tell her to stfu...
My day was a little sad now, but the magical Dogrock appeared and made me happy we had a short grind in public then said some sweet words to each other, but he sadly had to leave.
Later I found out he was following me on Twitter and I check who follows him......DAM IT THAT DOGROCK.....Me and him compete well I compete and lose and he wins so its really not a competition its more him spanking my rear.....(Ooo sounds naughty I know). Regardless I found out that he has 1 more cooler person following his Twitter....so I will now somehow make Boswick follow me on Twitter...
Well the night was coming to an end, but then we decided to do some more Gvg....This time we got a few matches won them, but then we realized no one else wanted to fight us, and got bored again....so what to do? I found Cootiecakes and my guild mates all decided that she is a deadly virus and we must kill her.....We chased Cootiecakes for about a good hour around Havens.....she changed havens etc. nothing worked until we forced her to go and do a run (Wow we are so evil).
Later on during the night Milkman was trying to figure out if Echoes are really silent...I think he is still working on my trick question =0 <3 Milky
Then I ran into a player who thought he was the best player in the game since beta. Well clearly he did not read the forums and realize that the make believe rank was already taken by notorious purple. So sadly, I had to ruin this players life-long dreams and achievements by letting them know that Spiral Knights has no ranking system at all, so he or she is not the best player in the game since their is no way to measure it. Sadly, I think this player does not believe me, but what can you do it was harder than teaching a baby how to use the potty or even trying to teach Cootie how to Stfu (I been trying that from day 1 since I meet her no progress)....
Well after that my new friend Jen was so nice to get her guild to do Pvp with Eos. Special thanks to In the jelly for doing pvp against us it was a lot of fun. I hope we can do that again sometime soon.

I went back to T1
I have a set of 4* gears and I've seen The Core. But all this time I've been using Calibur (Ascended Calibur now). When I switched to a Vile Striker trying to solo JK, I found myself not very good with it.
I realized I've been too reliant on Calibur's knockback (charged or not), or slow kiting of a gun (Super Blaster, Alchemers, Heavy Pulsar) to keep me safe. That's why my play time, when soloing, increased from 1.5 hours to over 2 for a full T2 run.
So starting from a few days ago, I went back to T1. I started experimenting with all kinds of swords in all kinds of situations, including danger rooms and the last stage of arenas. I need to relearn sword fighting... to train myself to determine the time when I can attack a big crowd, and when I must run/block.
Just made a Troika... will train with it tomorrow.

Discovered that playing BN is
Discovered that playing BN is really worth it because of the insane amount of Cr people plop down for a mod calibrator in the AH.
I used the earnings from my last mod calibrator to contribute to a pile of CE offers I'm making (5000 CR for 100 CE, just wait until it happens).
Then I went on a run through t2 and made some friends then I played BN again, raged at lag, blew myself up repeatedly because of the former, accidentally got bombed by teammates a lot, as well as getting killed alongside the people I was trying to kill.
then I got another mod calibrator.

So Apparently My Night Was Not Done...
So I thought to myself hey I will just go on Sk for a few minutes which ended up being a few hours....
I logged in sat down at the entrance and well started using zone chat making fun of Jen for being the root of all evil....
Repartee and a bunch of guildies agreed with me that Jen is the root of all evil.....
Later on I ended up breaking Milkman heart
I told people how to make the best jellies shots all you need is VODKA and a Shiver....
We argued about pokemon and digimon, but the blu-ray set of Dogrock and myself won since it was EPIC.

Then saw a couple hours later that they announced to rose regalia.
Was upset about it for a minute---it would be nice if they could announce things like this a little earlier, oh well. Then said eh, easy come easy go. I'll just have to make new crowns.
Disappointed i didn't get any good crafts today.

Finally!
Today I finally made it to tier 2! Im sooo happy but I expected tier 2 to be a bit harder. It seems like the only difference is that the enemy's do more damage. I also got a chroma suit! I know that it isn't the best armour but I needed to get to tier 2. Close to the end of my game time I went on a shopping spree at the A.H. I mostly only got mats.

Yesterday, I am slow and am sitting in class bored...
First Day of College: Boo, less time for SK.
Logged on in the morning to check who was on, and what not.
Noticed Lethalconcept was on, stalked him around different Havens, finally tracked him down to haven 17 townsquare. Sat on him and generally made fun of the fact that he joined Valk Knights even though he doesn't have Valk armor. Made friends with a purple snipe who sat down beside me, named him Harold. Tried to teach him to attack lethal on command, mental note snipes are either not so smart or pacifist in nature, he refused to attack lethal. Lethal defriended me, I cried pitifully and we got some couples counseling from a random noob, good times. Sent him a friend request with an insulting note. Logged and went to class.
Logged back later in the day after class, chatted with guildies, got cuddle attacked by Cootie. Found myself in the middle of an intense negotiation. Cootie offered Alberio 1000ce to trade me to Active, Alb countered and Cootie offered 12 random active members. I was flattered until I realized she offered NJ much more for Skettie :(. I cried pitifully. I offered Cootie 10ce for Heron, he felt bad but my total ce reserve at the time was 137ce so it was a good chunk of my wealth. I offered to trade Alberio for Barcode, but no one wants Alberio... darn. Cootie offered to give me CE to take Randomlol, was tempted but she lowballed me. Logged and went home.
Logged on, pwned Vana a couple times with Character-name and some peeps from Active, ran Candlestick Keep, Meh and beat Roarmulous.
Was jealous of the rose regalia set, but I am a poor student :(.
Logged and went to sleep, thus avoiding reading and homework for at least one day.

I sold a 4* Virulisk Mask I'd found in a treasure box without any annoying unbinding for 2500 CE. I've never had this much CE at once. I think I'll get many 5* recipes.

- got a sun shard bomb :D
- tested it out on a fiend spectrum
- got a couple of cr
- wasted most (27) of my CE
- constantly checked the forum
- played Mega Man X afterwards
Today... I froze three times in a row playing Blast Network (I'm on a Mac), and the 2nd of those three times I even mistakenly clicked "fill it up" instead of adding 1CE to the pool... so... I'm still waiting for a fix ;)
