so after reading and discussing on this http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/24386, it got me thinking about new and viable ailments and it hit me
type 1: this type would lower any armor's defense value of the 3 types of specialized damage.
Breached: lowering Piercing resistance
Malice: lowering Shadow resistance
Ruin: lowers Elemental resistance
if armor doesn't have resistance to say piercing i doubt Breached would affect you since you have no armor against piercing and since T1 is all normal damage i doubt you'll see this type
type 2: this type would reduce resistances to ailments, since resistances can go into the red like http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Chaos_Cowl this type would decrease your resistances whether your armor as them or not
hypothermia: lowers freeze resistance
hyperthermia: lowers fire resistance
conductor: lowers shock resistance
concussion: lowers stun resistance
possessed: lowers curse resistance
virulence: lowers poison resistance
drowsy: lowers sleep resistance
naturally there will would need to be changes like what afflicts which ailment and balancing but i think i have said enough
How about calling the one reducing your Elemental, Dispel?
