I've been hoping for something like this every update. I don't see any downside to adding this to the game. It would make a lot of people happy.

Cool. Better than the idea of Name changing. It may cause some confusion, but nothing major. I'll probably stick to my bright green anyway, since I like the way it goes with darker colours, but it'd be a nice option for the less rooted people.

And to deter fickleness, the price could rise exponentially.
Ideally, it should be a crown sink as opposed to an energy sink.
Either way, I'd like to be able to change my color.
And a few new colors wouldn't hurt, though they're not necessary.
White would look very nice.

Colors vs. Cost
I think if you had the number of colors representing the cost, that would be the way to go.
Example:
Monochrome (8 shades of grey, 1 black 1 white) = 30 CE
12 colors = 50 CE
24 colors = 100 CE
50 colors = 200 CE.
Perhaps also making available different proto (ie naked) designs. Sure, they'd have to invent different looks, but w/e. That could be a separate expense to players if they so desire a different character look. Why not 6 choices instead of just 3 variations? That could be 200 CE also.
Much higher cost than that would discourage most players, and that should not be the aim of the whole idea.
So, you'd just be paying for the choices, but you pay more to get more selection.
What do you think of that?

I have made several posts in the past and closer to nowaday's about this subject. I NEEEED IT. green is such a terrible color. it goes with nothing except the beginning armor.. I made a bad choice but spent so much time and money on my character i dont want to restart.

This would be awesome. Make it cost a few k cr, and OOO will finally have that crown sink theyre constantly trying to implement, and lots of people will use it, making up for the low price. Even economics agrees :)

I agree. You should be able to change your personal color for a fee of either crowns or energy. But I don't think name changes would be as easy to implement. I could be wrong. I'm more in favor of color changes than name changes, though.

Would like the option to change my colour too.. I understand if you can't let us change our name as that's probably more of a complicated process. Even if it costs CE it would be nice to have the option (ofcourse it would cost CE ¬_¬) Having one personal colour all the time seriously limits your costume choices.
Also kind of related... at the start of the game, you can't get any of the other helmets or colour schemes (not colours, but the colour schemes) of helmets/armour, would be nice to get an option to get those again... I'd really like a different colour scheme of spiral tailed helm but I can't :'(

Definitely second this suggestion.
Making it possible to somehow change your colors would be fantastic!
When I first went into the game, I had no idea how much the color you chose would influence the look of your armor.
There's a lot of armor that I'd love to wear, and though it's somewhat minor, having teal in contrast with a color it doesn't work with makes me not want certain armor sets entirely. In that sense, I feel extremely limited to my choices of armor through my choice of color.
Hopefully later on down the road this could be a simple NPC somewhere.
