How much resistance does it take to be completely immune?

I use the Fang of Vog charge frequently, thus I am repeatedly set aflame with FOUR seconds of fire.
The fire-resistant gear I have are:
1. Vog Cub Cap and Coat
2. Grey Owlite Shield

What I want is to be completely immune to fire (or atleast reduce my FOUR seconds to only TWO seconds).
Is this possible? If so, what gear/UVs do I need?

I was interested in getting the Volcanic Plate Shield, so I was thinking about using this to my advantage and buying a Plate Shield with a fire-resist UV...
Though I don't know if I should get a low, medium, high, etc..

Don't think it's possible.

Don't think it's possible. There's nothing you can do protect yourself fully form any status. I wish this was the case, so that things like fire resist from full vog spare you from any fire in the FSC instead of just a little less damage. But it's not to be.

shield wont help, get medium

shield wont help, get medium uv on your armor or a 5* trinket, also status your shield already has will probably not help

Shield doesnt do anything for

Shield doesnt do anything for reducing burn time, just how long it last from fire attacks, I wear full vog+ Medium fire on one and my burn time is about 3 seconds, perhaps if you wore 2 vogue pieces with high fire uvs you could get it quite low

Just for reference, here is

Just for reference, here is some fire resist testing Eeks did:

Since trinkets now work, you might try adding some Whetstones, see if that will reduce the time/damage further.

The shield isn't going to make a difference. However, there was a possible bug that caused the Barb Thorn Shield to do extra fire damage to yourself. Not sure if that was changed yet.

I think months ago there was

I think months ago there was a patch that fixed the "completely immune". I have a Vog Cub Cap with Fire High and Coat with Fire med, which is way over the bar and FoV still gets me on fire for 4 secs and takes 4 health bars, even using a Fire resist trinket cant reduce this, If i remeber correctly vog cub with no uvs its 4secs and 5 bars.

Fire Resist test

I tested the fire resist trinket a couple weeks ago and i found with fire resist armor + 1 5* fire trinket you won't catch fire until floor 25. Haven't gotten another trinket yet so I'm not sure if two will prevent you from catching fire the rest of the way. You'll still take damage, but not catch on fire. Also with just the trinket on it takes the fire from 6 seconds to 5 seconds. But combine it with fire resist armor and you won't catch fire in training hall. With fire resist armor you'll catch fire for 4 seconds in the training hall. And with no fire resist you'll catch on fire for 6 seconds in the training hall.

Anyways hope this helps, also just did a quick training hall test to verify some of my info. (Used VOG, Dragon & Fallen armor to test this, and Fallen with trinket in FSC)
