is there somthing like that?yea im new just figuring stuff out if someone could help that would be great
good sword that is big but pretty fast...
Yeah, sounds like you're looking for a troika or sealed sword then lots of Attack Speed Increase. It is rather difficult to get a lot of ASI without going full Vog Cub, which you'll have to wait till 5 star to achieve. In the mean time though, you can craft a Swiftstrike Buckler which has ASI High (1/2 of the way to max) but it is only 3* and cannot be upgraded.
yea i looked at the troika i think i will get that...thanks
If you get the Troika you are going to want the Swiftstrike buckler like Culture said. It makes a huge difference. Get ready for a learning curve too, the 2 swing swords are very different from the 3 bangers. You may want to go ahead and grab an Elite Quick Strike Module too, Krogmo coins are easy to earn or by the Mod Calibrators from the AH. No recipe searching, you just have to come up with the mats, crowns, and ce.
Also, just go ahead and plan on abandoning your Troika after you get your hands on a Sealed sword (3* precursor to DA/GF). Unless the Troika line gets some serious balancing I would not recommend taking to 4* or 5*. I have a fully heated Troika that I used to like to mess around with in T2 (backed up with Swiftstrike & module), but sadly I doubt that I will ever upgrade it. The Troika's 5* just doesn't stack up against the other 5* swords.

There is a bunch of info there, but if you don't learn anything else from that tread, learn this. Shield cancel. This is a big deal and also applies to fast swords. The Troika animation for the first swing goes on for much longer then needed & can be stopped by shielding. This will let you get out faster first swing attacks & stay protected. Another thing I really like to do with 2 swingers is to deliberately whiff my first swing away from the enemies, then turn 180 degrees and connect with my second swing. This way you do more damage and knock them back out of attack range so you are safe to set up another hit. One more thought. Be warned the Troika's charge attack takes years & will leave you very exposed to taking free hits from enemies that you miss with the charge attack. The Troika's charge attack is pretty terrible, takes too long and at the 5* level is weak compared to other 5* charges.
Kamarins (3* Troikas on the Sud path) are pretty easy to find at the AH also. It think I might have one there now, but can't remember if it has sold yet.
Big and fast sword, huh? Use the Spur series. Upgrade it to the Winmillion and master it. If you need any help in using one, PM me and I'll show you how to use it effectively. Don't go for the cruddy easy way route by using a DA or FA.
Jalok, if you are the Winmillion Master why don't you write a How to Guide? Though I'm not really convinced having 2 Winmillions in your loadout is worth any increased DPS it might give you...
I have a spur as well as the 3* & 4* recipes, but I just have not been motivated to craft it out. I guess I just find the charge really lack luster & have not been anywhere near impressed enough to trad it out with my Calibur.
Bluescreen, I enjoy your posts. Ima send you a friend request ingame if that's alright with you. haha
lol, sure. This is my alt though (made before we could post through steam) send friend to:
IGN: Dracuva
My Steam has just crapped out on me though, trying to get some support from the forums to fix it. I'll get at you when it's running again.
Mkay, done being off topic now. haha
Spur line fails.nobody really use win million because of it's charge and it got no 5* upgrade.I recommend cutter.
big and fast?
get a sealed sword.
don't buy it, but get it from tokens
upgrade along avenger line
it's easy to learn, and ppl love it in T2 and T3. it will serve you well.
ok thanks everyone im actuly going to try out the troika then go to the callibur line.what would be a good shiel to go along with the calibur?
Quite a lot of 5* swords end up being big...
The DA and GF line are some extremely useful weaponry. unfortuneately, they have a high learning curve from the proto sword.
The leviathan blade is a good, balanced, weapon. its big, and the same speed as your proto. low learning curve.
The winmillion series could possibly be the best weapon in the game, but if you dont use it right, your gonna start saying F*** u wolvers wont get hit by my sword@! unfortunetely, it onlys goes to 4*
Troika series is like the DA and Gf, only normal damage.
Brandish lines are like leviathan blade.
A good shield with the calibur would be any shield. grey owlite, dread skelly, dark thorn, etc.
cool thnx yea i got the troika it is beast.i like it alot
OP I would recommend that you pick the shield for the Stratum, not the sword. That said, for strata that need piercing defence, the Bristling Buckler line (Dark Thorn Shield -> BTS) is your best bet, but I would recommend that you get all 3 of the shields Lithanium mentioned (one for each damage type). I have them and I switch them out to suit my decent.
Big and fast don't go well in this game. haha
Leviathan Blade and Cold Iron Vanquisher are pretty large, and are the normal 3 swing combo.
Bigger than those are the Troika and Sealed Sword lines, but they're 2 swing, and are pretty slow even with a lot of Attack Speed Increase (ASI).
