check out every other F2P game with a customizable player character. They all have this, and it's very popular. It's a mint in the making, in fact. Personally, I don't really buy into it, but I play a f2p game on android (once in a while now) which has players literally spending hundreds of dollars to buy in-game currency, just so they can have all of the fashion items. Not for gameplay, not to buy CE...JUST for a hat.

a little more money in OOO's coffers may make the difference in this whole game continuing to evolve. Much like the Rose Regalia, it'll be very profitable for those players who take part in it.

Also, I request a bird beak. Of any kind, but preferably an Ibis or Crane. My name is Tengu, after all.

WOW they have failed big time here no one will pay 750ce for a key this will turn out to be just like TF2 crate where you have like 20+ filling up you inventory because no one will buy the key for it when it at such a ripoff price

750 CE is just out of my price range. Yes I know it's the same cost as a TF2 key but this isn't TF2... although it's amusing to see them come closer together. I do about 20 runs a month, and 3 of those go straight into maintaining slot/trinket upgrades, and everything else into saving up for the crafting costs. I can't really afford playing 8 days for a 1-in-a-winmillion-chance to get the 1 or 2 items that might appeal to me.

Oh and you people forgot to add entries to the string table on the new NPC, although you've probably been told a million times by now. :P

I was excited when I first found out about this, though I wasn't sure what I would want. Now that I know it costs 750 CE for a key, I know I want only one or two of the accessories, and am sort of disappointed in the Dev team. My passing mild has metamorphosed into a belief that OOO is staffed by vile iniquitous beings. $2.50 for a single item with no practical application? Stay classy, gentlemen. Stay classy.

Hm... I would have preferred for each item to have cost a huge amount of materials to craft rather than energy for an item that's completely random. If anything, the randomness aspect should be taken away to be a bit fair to the consumer. A bit disappointed.

750 CE/$2.5 to get something you don't know what it is, you can't predict it, and even if you can trade or obtain another accessory, you can't then put it on another to see what it looks like. It's not even a separate slot, you can only destroy it if you didn't like it. Even though TF2 refs galore after this, not even TF2 was THAT bad.

I admit I was excited as hell, but wow, I mean, with not even a preview to see how you'll look like before having to inevitably destroy it, this accessory thing is... not so good anymore.

Does the Iron Lockbox have a series or something. I can't confirm it right now as I'm in the office, but I hope it's like the Mann crates where there's a couple of "series" and you can preview a list of items that may come out.
