Does anyone see a great purpose on this thing cause I don't in the slightest bit, maybe someone else has some secret strategy to make it more useful.
Cause to be honest I got my Triglav and wasn't impressed and then later got a Glacius and was sad at how much better it is.
Triglav.
Yeah there are many threads about it apparently, my friend made one and everyone keeps saying they are fine and super useful and a buff would be game breaking cause every weapon would eventually be complained about.
Anyone who says they need to be better other will say it breaks the balance of the game and by balance I mean the good weapons having no competition.
For something I worked so hard for I'm disappointed in, and not only that I'm disappointed in this community cause I do not understand peoples reasoning.
Everyone knows the Triglav is just awful and just looks pretty yet there are so many arguments saying it's fine cause it has knockback due to being a heavy sword.
Sadly no I don't. I would really love to, but it just doesn't stack up to the other options.
The triglav is the only heavy sword I've gotten out of the bunch, and while I can't really say it's so fricking useful to the point you should sell everything and get this sword now, it's sorta like what's going on with the Wild Hunting Blade and Dread Venom.
So, I ain't gonna lie. I like the triglav mostly because I didn't make any other heavy swords, and yes it looks pretty damn neat. While I'm missing the fun of the DA and the Faust, this is pretty much what's gonna happen for weapons that end up in the "all around" category (eg: normal damage). The second swing freeze is the best thing the triglav does. And on very specific situations, it can help crowd control.
Of course, this alone won't convince most, but I don't see the big deal in Triglav/Sudaruska getting a small buff here and there.
All-around doesn't have to result in useless. Leviathan is an exceptional sword, its basic combo damage shortcomings are made up by the high damage charge attack. This makes it an acceptable alternative to brandishes. The DVS shines in some situations - Royal Jelly, Lumbers, Turrets, etc. Valiance is not a terrible gun - high mobility, three shot clip, knockback. (Actually there are lots of normal guns that are not bad.) Not to mention Nitronome - the standard-bearer of bombs.
It would be wonderful if the Triglav/Sudaruska was in the category of "useful" normal weapons along with the Levi, DVS, Valiance and Nitronome. Right now these swords are on par with normal weapons like the Iron Slug or Big Angry Bomb... which is the "oh why dear god was this weapon ever created" category.
I haven't found a good use for my Sudaruska yet. The swing damage is poor compared to other swords. The charge attack does little damage considering the risk of releasing it.
Here's several analyses of how they are such poor swords:
