Whats at the CORE???

now we know we are supposed to get to the core to fix our messy ship right?
Unfortunately... The path to the exact CENTER of the core is supposedly locked, and no one can open it...yet.
Now seeing as that our answer to leaving is locked, What do you think is at the core? Its giving off a HUGE amount of energy so it must be pretty powerful.
Make a guess and post it here!

potato, two electrodes, glow-in-the-dark stickers

Fiends on a dreadmill, gremlins shoving cool into a furnass... who knows...

Whats in the Core... Nothing but a hole lots of computers screens with nothing more than that.... its bean close since Beta and its still close ever since... who knows it mite open some time during your life... but don't hold your breath because you mite die. dont wast your energy save it for something better check out my pics

Boswick is trapped inside the core. We swore to never release him, but the seventh seal is weakening.
I always thought it was just a GIANT ball of energy lol

Boswick, mostly. he controls the planet from the shadows.
@Tantarian: I thought it was the fifth seal that was weakening.

i think its the resting place of steve (from spore)

No no no... crazy wave
thats the OUTSIDE of the core.
im talking about whats INSIDE all that armored plating holding all that energy
its good to imagine you know?

Seriously. All we have seen is crashpods. WHERE IS THE SHIP??

I don't know man, the Order of the Chromas is a mess, I think they guy who kept track of the seals if licking glue instead of working.

When they do release it, it's probably just a bunch of money. I would think a good reward would be unlimited energy but that's how spiral knights earns cash. I don't know. It'd be fun if it was an untradable customizeable weapon and armour set and the best set in the game. Now THAT would be cool.

It is a TARDIS so it only gets bigger once we go in.
A battery, yes, we are all a nanometer tall.

Lots and lots of... bacon.

Serious answer:
King Tinkinzar and his elite Crimson Order along with the corrupted Alpha Squad.

Ahh you mean inside the Core Ball... may be a Sexy Stripper is waiting for you ejejjejeje or a Atomic Nuclear Boom waiting to go off in any second to anyone who mite get close to it. jejjejejee
Dark Falz is waiting in a beautiful valley with a stone monument in the middle.

The core is a fortune cookie and the slip of paper inside contains the answer to Nick's #10 Secret.

Jell-O.
Because there's always room for Jello.

A pocket dimension containing another world or universe with new levels to play in and new mobs/bosses to fight both of which may or may not include new game mechanics.
I can see it now
The Core: A power source fueled by another plane of existence filled with vast amounts of a yet to be identified mysterious energy surrounding countless worlds and environments all of which are able to support life with in it.

I have a theory that answers several questions about the core: What's in it? Why is it sealed off? Won't opening the core end the game?
It could just be a sealed off material that puts off useful energy. Granted, at face value, that's both obvious and horrible for the game, because once they have the material, the Spiral Order leaves the planet, and no more game. But think about it, at one point you get told that the old power source for the Skylark was several hundred tons. As in multiple hundreds of thousands of pounds. It stands to reason that the material in the core would be of a similar mass, given its energy output, and how large it appears to be. Now, also consider that because it has such a high energy output, it could be dangerous to handle in large quantities without specialized protection. Proximity to excessive amounts could cause something similar to radiation sickness. So, how does one move such massive quantities of potentially dangerous material from the center of a planet? A little bit at a time. You can't traverse the Clockworks in large numbers, both because of elevator weight limits, and tactical concerns, but knights are already traveling to the core regularly in small groups, so once it's opened, the knights who visit the core could take a small amount of the material to the surface with them, small enough to be both safe and light enough to carry. Perhaps the knights who make it to the core could trade these small amounts of material for some sort of reward from Spiral HQ, things that would allow them to reach the core again more easily. And thus we have a new token, one for reaching the core, rather than beating a boss.
So, to answer the three questions...
The core is filled with a material that puts off large amounts of useful energy.
It's sealed off for the safety of the Clockworks and Cradle as a whole.
It won't end the game, because of the difficulties in transporting large amounts of material to the surface of Cradle from the core of the Clockworks.
Do I win?
EDIT: To cut off the inevitable question of "Well, then what happened to Alpha Squad?"
They could've opened the core, been weakened by the massive energy signal, and taken captive by King Tinkinzar, who probably lives in a secluded, hidden area in the Clockworks, rather than in the core itself. This would allow him to be safe from hostile intruders (the Spiral Order), without also putting himself at risk by hanging out inside a massive container of potentially dangerous material.

I'm telling you, Boswick is in the core in the form of an interdimensional time-lord!

Well i truly think whats inside the core i truly HOPE is Teir 4 with the most out rage boss around, the hardest monsters in SK, the Most Rear items, weapons, armour, bombs and shields that SK have to offer... i truly hope three rings make this core the ultimate place for players to adventure were you could die in a hart beat if you don't watch were your walking, think about it it will be Awesome to have a Teir 4 at The Core!

gremlins massing a huge army and making giant robots to RULE CRADLE! and one knight... make that 64 knights and 15 strangers... with stores.. that have epic gear. how they got there i don't know. (they're there to help you)

its the swarm. swarm of what you ask well the neko swarm because nick had to put all those nekos somewhere and nekos will be the final boss nyahahahahaha

Only power enough for each of the persons who made it to the core, to power their escape pod and return home and leave behind cradle and all the other knights on it until they too reach the core. But when we arrive home we find it is taken over by..... Alpha Squad. They had a plan... we fell for it.

Core has white stuff in it.
Music fits. Want whitespace
WANT

cliché i guesss,
a load of computerscreens, a big generator, coffee machines, a controlpanel and.... its al broken!
like in a sunken ship, alot of stuff is in there that doesnt belong there(ennemies)
because the generator is somewhat broken the ennemies received radiation, so they are stronger and got some messed up abbilities.
further more: leaking pipelines: clouds of liquid nitrogen(ice), vaporized iron(fire), vaporized cooling liquid(poison and fire)
generaly a big mess crowded with hazzards and ennemies

200 mist tanks
1000000 cr
100000 CE
400 treasure boxes
100 almarian seals
1 free 5* unbound weapon
costs 1000 CE to descend to the INNER CORE (T4)
costs 200000 CR to descend past core (T5)
costs 4000 CE to descend to other side of the planet (T6)
there you go decended into haven

i saw in a picture for spiral knights that those pillars behind the elevators in the arcade were fixed and glowing white. anyways i think when you go reach the core were you are looking at the core theres some switch that when activated fixes that pillar. but you have to be fast because the right elevaters keep switching. plus you have to go in one trip from 1-29.
just thinking

A ball of dark matter that teleports anything that falls into it to an entirely new world. You see, the clockworks planet we currently reside on isn't the only one in the Spiral Knights world. There are many, and we have only just begun to scratch the surface.

The end of the simulation. Go read your artifacts

Just a normal planet core like Earth. Gremlins locked it because it was too hot.

A *really* good one.
