I was thinking that haven next expansion update should be an entire new area similar to the bazaar unlike a new building. Here's the idea:
The spiral knights has found nearby ruins of a lost kingdom. Secretly the Order and the strangers have been reconstructing it for knights to use as a surprise. The new area has been named New Almire in honor of the fallen kingdom. The area will have ruins and several new shops runned by new strangers and friendly monsters.This place also has unique things. Here are some of them:

Art studio
Runned by: A artistic stranger and her fellow knight friend who is also an artist.
Service: Changes your personal color and your gear color for a certain price. Also can change your assecory to a diff color, but at a very high price.

Movie theater
Runned by: A gentleman Impostacube who directed many movies
Service: Sells knights a special recorder that allows them to record ONE level that they did.(When they finish a level a question pops up asking if you want to record that run.) They can then post it in his movie gallery to show other knights there skills.

Black Market Gear Dealer
Runned by: A mysterious stranger clad in a black cloak.
Service: Sells gears 1-3* with uvs. Most of his uvs are low and a one with a high uv varaint or gears with two uvs are rare. He has a very limited stock so talk to him often! Also you can sell gear to him. If they have a uv they can appear on his stock. So be generous and donate your gear! The black market's stock are really low these days. All gear are generally high priced.

Pet farm
Runned by: Pacifist Knight and his friendly monster friends.
Service: Sells pets.(I do not have an idea on pets, I'm just saying if they do get implanted then they should be sold in here.)

Black Market Item Dealer
Runned by: Another mysterious stranger
Service: Sells assecories, trinkets, recipes, costumes, and mist tanks. All items are high priced and some are rare. Stocks limited.

Wacky Trade Gremlin
Runned by: A gremlin who is somewhat insane, but still friendly.
Service: Trades random items for your junk. (example: 200 scrap metals for a scale helm.) The rarer the stuff you give him the more likely he''l give you something good. He won't give you something rare like gear assecories or trinkets, but he does have some good stuff.( like maybe a variant ticket ar an unbinding ticket.) But he might give you crap so be careful.

Also feature a coliseum to wait for PvP so you don't look like you randomly go poof during a conversation.

Good Idea

Good idea, but it has one flaw. Why would someone pay for a recoding device when there are tons of outside means? Maybe players should be able to watch recorded movies in the theatre and knights will earn crowns based on their view count.

Also, maybe players could buy Snipes or miniature Gun Puppies (like Behamel has) as pets or buy those weird pumpkin things with arms and legs that you see walking in Haven around Halloween.

Knight's already record levels and stick them on youtube. Just look at chris (no offense, just the first example that came to my mind).

Other than the wacky gremlin and pets, I kinda like it. ESPECIALY the collesium. I hate poofing, not sure why the vivid "krogmo collesium" is really just a blasted submenu.

Well on the recording

It has benefits. it'll past time for bored knights. Also the devs can use it to show us clips like new gear or news.(because some of us don't go to the forums a lot :] ) Also when players complete a difficult level (like devilites) and they did it splendidly(like take no damage at all), but they didn't record it so they couldn't prove that it happen, the recorder could solve that problem easily. Also new players in the game or curious players can go to the theater for quick views on levels, so they don't have to go search for that level on youtube.(for computers that are old like mines, this helps since I can only have one program on at a time or else the computer will slow down to a snail pace.) Plus I like the idea about getting crowns depending on views. And by the way @heavy-duty yes, it's a very big iffy.

Art Studio, Movie Theater,

Art Studio, Movie Theater, Gear Dealer, and Wacky Gremlin all sound cool to me.

If the Move Theater were to be implemented though, I would hope it got something on the scale of Halo Reach's theater. Sadly, I don't think the coding in the game is setup to support that sort of functionality. It would require an essential rework that I just don't see 000 doing.

Archeologist
Runned by: a friendly zombie dressed in archeoligist clothes
Service: Since it's ruins, there are tidbits of ancient history. Technically this isn't a service but a bit of a mini quest. Technically you go around new almire to find coded passages. You can't understand them, but this zombie can. Technically a mini quest for In-game lore. OOO can give additional quest, like have kats somtime drop lore about owlites for a limited amount of time. You get payed for every piece of lore you find!

AWESOME IM 100% WITH THIS IDEA i think u can have 1 pet slot so u can equip one and it follows u arond i think and builder or achotect who upgrades your guild hall for a lot of crowns (or ce but lots of crowns it better cuz then u have to work for it) for diffrent themes then once u choose a theme upgrades for the theme (so u have an old castle u can make it have flags or stuff like that) and so on size upgrades maybe training areas which have dummies for finding combos that work well and so on.i think a disgner who can make you a guild flag for guild hall. i can draw up scetches of pets and things like that too so pls comment on this

But please this isn't a thread to talk about pets. So keep away from that subject. Also I made the wacky gremlin as a way to get rid of your crap for something useful or something that sells more. Anyways here's the architect.

I fully support this Idea; I would also like to propose the erection of a vanaduke statue before his transformation as a meeting place in new almire, similar to the fountain or the garden of heaven.

Art Studio? Yes. Would solve the near-eternal groaning of the collective player-base asking to change their Colour. Of course ascertaining the actual colur-change problems would be that changing your colour too many times could corrupt some data. Maybe limit it x times per x (Hour(s)/Day(s)/Week(s)/Month(s))

Movie Theater? No. The specifics behind this is nothing the likes of Java was ever supposed to support. And, as Orangeo already, "Knight's already record levels and stick them on youtube." No real need for this... maybe it could tell them how to do it though?

Black Market Gear Dealer? Perhaps. If this happend then it would effectively put an 'official' price on UV's. Maybe if the Dealers inventory is randomized for each knight which acesses him. And all the Uv's are xxxx:Low. And if they are gorssly over-priced. Like the 'other' Weapon/Shield Dealers in the Bazzar. As for selling gear to him.... If you sell a UV weapon to a vendor they will only pay how much the UV-less variant would've cost. I don't think this one should pay higher for the UV, why? Beacuse he's a Black Market Dealer. He never pays more than he absolutely has to.

Black Market Item Dealer? Perhaps. The Trinkets and Recipes are covered by Brinks and Basil respectively. Selling Acessories basically gives each acessory an 'official' price. Costumes? Myabe. Depends on which kind they are. Mist Tanks? No Min-Mist Tanks? Perhaps. Up to OOO rings though. And even if they do, this gremlin will basically become a Mini-Mist Tank Vendor then. Totally not fitting his name.

Wacky Trade Gremlin? Yes, with adjustments. Instead of him giving you expensive stuff like Tickets, how about making his moto "One man's junk is another man's junk too!" And have him allow you to give him mats in exchange for some other stuff. Example: x Scrap + x Gel Drops = x Ecto Drops. You remove some of the stuff in your inventory and get something in return. Of course OOO will need to spend a lot of time to make sure there are no Bugs which people could exploit in order to make massive amounts of CR.

Archeologist: Yes, to an extent. The quest of finding hidden stuff in New Almire could be a pre-requisite for you to obtain another quest from him which enables you to collect 'X' from 'Monster:X'. Although if he gives out items, the overall price of those items could decrease quite heavily, and giving CR is just going to fuel another Crown Inbflation. Anyway you go about leads to a negative effect. Although limiting to once-a-day could rein in the effects a bit, myabe he needs time to look over the 'x' you have found.

Torchlight has a decent

Torchlight has a decent black-market vendor setup. Basically everything you buy from him is guaranteed to be "enchanted" (which would translate into a UV in SK) and fairly expensive, but you can't identify what the enchantments are before buying the item.

However, given the vendor prices for gear in SK compared to crafting costs, I can't see it catching on for anyone other than noobs.

I like all the ideas except for the movie studio. Maybe OOO can have the movie studio can be used as a way to promote new things in a more visual way for those who delete any mail they have without reading it.(Not one of these people by the way.) Also are the black market prices fixed? I think it would be better for them to be random prices, but prices that are still high and around the same range of course. This way uvs and other things won't have a definite price to them. (the price and the worth for things like these are really for the consumer to decide. )
