Just make a set that deals with Fiends. IMO Candlestick is a bigger problem since unlike Fiends, those ghost things are invincible by design.

I think candlestick keep is easier than fiend levels with lots of shock devilites :-P
A little while ago my entire party decided to leave because we had a candlestick keep in front of us and no one wanted to wait (we just missed an arena by seconds). I went on my way and completed it with little problem.
Ultimatly, I really want some beast or construct levels before FSC because they hold the materials I want. As for earning the most crowns, I'll go to any gate that has multiple arenas (non fiend) in S6 thank you :-D.

I hate purple crystals. Need to boycott picking up purple crystals, not the FSC gate.
Purple + Yellow = Undead
Purple + Red = Fiend
Purple + Green = Poison
Purple + Blue = Lightning

shock is ok by itself. It is fiend + shock that is horrible. I finally built some shadow armor (mostly for future shadow lairs) but I'm still completely lacking in shock protection and I don't have the funds to build a specialized set specifically for shock fiends...
because those bastards are not stopping....
