Yes, A F K is still alive and well even though we lost some of our senior members. Mighty may come back eventually (although I don't know much on the subject, so don't quote me on that), but right now he's got too much work with college classes. Our other GM's are doing a great job in his absence, but we still need to work some more things out before we can start recruitment again.

@Ubernerd and everyone in AFK

I'm very proud of this guild. I'm very happy at all the good times we had together before the events took its toll from November onward. However, I'm hanging up my knight forever. Of course I kept my knight. Why would I delete everything including my knightly legacy? Well, after what I heard from different Steam buddies, I was amazed that none of you guys gave up yet. Makes me go to tears. ;___;

But I digress. I hung up my knightly days forever. I won't even play in the summer. I can't enjoy my summer if I gotta go through the stress of leading a guild again. And I definitely can't enjoy myself at seeing all those beggars and annoying people in haven. I dunno... now that I think of it, the reason I left forever was more because of the game than the guild. Lack of new content (please don't go telling me I have to be patient. I've got a short life, especially with university days already halfway complete), too many beggars (you expect me to ignore at least 1000 people?), and courses (I'm trying to get an A+ average right now for Biology degree).

Well, since I'm not your leader anymore, you don't really have to listen to these suggestions. But please. Don't make the same mistake I made in making the officers and gms too involved. And please get all the AFK members to sign up to the forums. Keeps you guys updated in SK life.

Well, signing off forever I guess, and BYE TO ALL YOU GUYS. PLEASE FRIEND ME ON STEAM. JUST TYPE MIGHTYPUTTY.

How do you tell what number of stars you are? Also, on the title of the post, you said you accepted new players. But you say that you have to be pretty good. Please explain...

The star rating of your equipment is what determines what your star level is (i.e. a person with 4* armor, weapons, and shield is a 4* player). With regards to accepting new players, we're unfortunately not recruiting right now as you can see if look up a few posts. Basically, what we would do if we were recruiting is take in newer players who know the basics of the game and teach them more advanced aspects (such as shield-bumping, boss runs, and other general tactics) and try to make them better players. This is what we call "The Academy."

Also, to all Officers/GM's of AFK, There seems to be a glitch with Steam, Macs, and SK ever since the last Steam update. Every time I try to launch SK, Steam crashes and I can't log in on my main Steam profile. Other Mac users have reported this error, so I know it's not just me (I also tried re-installing to no avail). Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm not inactive, just unable to play.
