Side Missions for 5* players

After reading a few threads in the Treasure Vault, I got this new idea.
These new Side Missions would be for 5* players, who might be bored from being sorta at the end of the line.
There would be a Spiral Warden, like those in subtowns, in the Haven Arcade/the Core (which one? or both?) who would offer you several side missions, provided that you meet the requirements:
-having 5* armor, weapon, helm, and shield
-having completed 50 T3 levels
-having beaten all bosses once (Shadow Lair bosses included? y/n? or maybe exclusive missions for those who have?)
Each mission would require 50 energy, and consist of 3 depths. The Spiral Warden would have an interface that offers 3 different missions that you can complete in any order.
Mission suggestions:
-Watery Graves (Underwater mission): Alpha Squad scouts have uncovered a new area of the Clockworks, submerged underwater. They managed to send a distress signal before all traces of them disappeared. You must journey into this new territory to find them, if they are still alive. You will be supplied with an Air Capsule at the beginning of each level, which will last you ten 10 minutes before you start losing health. Replenish your Air Capsules at Air Stations. Watch out for new types of monsters; make note that when underwater, Fire and Stun effects are subdued, whereas the effects of Shock and Freeze are doubled. Be sure to equip an appropriate loadout!
-Canopy Crusade (Treetop Mission): Alpha Squad scouts have found a potential new source of raw energy, in the form of the fruit of a giant Tree in the middle of what appears to be a great tropical forest. Your goal is to venture into this new region, high above the ground - you will be traveling on suspension bridges strung between the trees.s There will be limited space to move - beware of flying enemies, who can travel where you cannot. Also be prepared to best a trio of behemoth Greavers who guard the Tree from would-be attackers. Make sure you bring a gun!
-More ideas? I'm still working on a few...meh
(At the completion of any mission, you would be awarded 30k crowns, 5 krogmo coins, & a unique item (trinket?) - this is not including items, heat and crowns already gained during the mission.)
Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome, please try to be constructive ;)

Haha, thanks.
Oh, and btw, how do you use an image like yours as an avatar? I have looked around my profile but haven't seen it.

Those are great ideas! I especially like the underwater idea. Clockworks isn't really timed that much but this is like having a race against time

Yeah, I was thinking that once your air ran out, you would take half a pip of damage every 5 seconds (not very much, I know), and have decreased attack speed (ASD) as well as decreased movement speed. This would continue indefinitely until you resupply your air at an Air Station or run out of health :D

I think the 30k cr payout is OP it could be ramped down to say 15k?
Try not to kill me I'm jus lookin at the energy market here.
Other than that a very nice idea

We should have quests in general not only for high lvl guys, this games turns boring after a while.

@Sazandreigon Well, I'm wasn't sure how much...I started off thinking it should be 10k, then dialed it up to 30k...I guess that's reasonable :)
@Nacho Ya that would be great, I might make another topic for that
Edit: Or the payout could stay at 30k cr if the energy price of the missions were increased...though it's probably better just to decrease the cr received

So you mean like this? http://forums.spiralknights.com/es/node/32466 But without the PvP part, and using up crowns instead of energy. Also, why would Krogmo sponsor this? His events rely on making Knights suffer for monster entertainment and it is also a PvE content what you offer. I also think that giving that much in crowns is a bit too much, unless it is, I don't know, Shadow Lair difficulty-wise. But you say it is just a number, so it is just a detail.
All in all, +1 to making this game more diverse, be it PvP, PvE, PvPvE and all variants.

Well, maybe not krogmo coins...but some sort of tokens anyways.
At first I was considering what a new sort of token would be called, and what it could be redeemed for, and so on...but I couldn't think of anything, so I just went with the KCs.
@Aumir Well sort of like that, but it's PvE, as you said. And yeah, I really don't know how much crowns ought to be rewarded, since I haven't reached 5* yet.
And yes, I just want more diversity in this game, though I sometimes doubt if any of this will even be considered by OOO :/
I think that these are good ideas. Also why don't some people actually set up tier three challenges. Like whoever can find the most tortrodrones, impostocubes, gold monsters and love puppies

Ooh, that would be awesome...kinda like how there are already Crown Kings etc
It would be great too if you actually got rewards for achievements 0.0
yeah i'd be willing to help set that up if anyone is interested

It would be cool to have weapons only obtainable by doing quests. But i dont know if this is going to happen, this game lacks of an outer world. And if it ever happen i think theyll be all about grinding, Kill 20 lumbers or something like that.

I support of this idea. I wouldn't even need any reward to do those, as bashing the same boss over and over is boring. I badly want some new content (this includes changing Shadow Lair fee so that it is not that much overpriced when you don't want to craft an armor at the end).
By the way, the proposed 30K Cr payout seems way too high, and the item too, unless it's a random low value accessory (it could be an accessory, with the same chances than when you are opening a lockbox).

Well as I said earlier, I would have no problem with a decreased payout. But anyways, these missions ( quests) would be limited (meaning you could only complete them a limited number of times), and there would also only be a certain number of missions available at any given time. Which I hope kinda balances it out :/
The underwater area sounds great! It's even reason to bring back the Deep Sea set...
Overall, I like this.
