It would be cool if you could show how the summoner's interface would be like.
How does he sellect the enemies he wants to summon?
You can probably make an example on MS Paint.
I guess nobody minds bad editing, just an idea would be nice.
Please take me off of the supporters list until you take this: "Cost to play: 10 CE" out of it. I don't know why its still in there, when you've said many times you would take it out.
Aemicus, look at the tab Player Suggestions. I said that about 3 times.
Blue-Phaze, People say I draw good and things like that but I'm not the best drawer but I would love to post a picture of how it would be like. Most of my ideas I think, I draw them then I say "It looked better in my head" then crumple the piece of paper. Sorry but I'll take it into effect if I can think of anything later.
If you're a good drawer that's even better.
You shouldn't crumple your drawings just because they looked better in your head; they always do. That happens to everybody. Kind of a waste if you can actually draw well.
I tried to represent something from my thread with Paint and it turned out quite decent.

@Varo, as I've said many times, and pointed out many times, the 10 CE cost IS STILL THERE! If you say you're going to take it off, take it off, and if you aren't then stop saying that. But until you DO take it off, instead of just pointing to the player suggestions like a fool, put me in the -1 category. So many people have asked for it to be taken down, but you still refuse to. So don't tell me that it's in the player suggestions, I know it is. But I wont support this until it is moved OUT of the player suggestions and into the normal rules, like you said earlier "Aemicus, I already said. It doesn't cost energy." or did you forget about that?

You must be blind. Do I have to take a photo for you? It says cost to play: 10 CE but look at the player suggestions! EVERY PLAYER SUGGESTION IS IN THE PLAYER SUGGESTIONS TAB! Not the orginal post. It's near the bottom. If you still disagree, I'll just have to resort to putting a photo. Read all of it before commenting.
Aemicus wants the 200 cr payment put into the actual idea, not left in the player suggestions, but rather "implemented" so to speak. He can already see that its in the player suggestion subtitle...
This is a great idea. Also I thought of 2 more game modes.
4 Gates of Doom - In this one , Its a 2v2 (3v3). The Goal is to destroy the opponents 2 gates (and kill the controller). One person on each team is the controller to prevent the other team from breaking the gates , the rest of a team has to break the gates.
Killathon - This one has a lot of detail (NOT) . This one is a long game mode. The goal is to kill all 5 mini bosses (5 out of 15 is selected by the controller) . At the same time the controller will be able to place other monsters as well (But he will not be able to place monsters like trogans).
If Aemicus really wants... fine. I made my decision, I'll add it. It's just annoying alittle. I am just trying to keep the orginal idea but fine.
So, you mean basically making Varo's idea into a kind of chess, with two summoners one for each side and their armies, made of knights (offensive) + monsters (defensive)?
That sounds quite cool actually. Not bad at all.

I like the idea but i could not help but notice that you have phantoms on the summon list. If they actually operate like in game phantoms i think that would be kind of unfair to the players. All you would have to do is summon them and eventualy have an unstopable force of respawning monsters.

I know you aren't going to add anything else of mine, but maybe the players could choose three types of damage they wanted before the match began, like poison, fire, and freeze, then some of the monsters sent in could randomly be turned into that type.
Close to 80 replies, that's pretty awesome.
Although I'm sure the devs probably won't implement this (at least not so soon) since there are lots of issues they must attend to...
I'm still supporting this though. It's by far one of the most creative suggestions by other players I've seen here.

Someone once told me that Krogmo's Coliseum was made to entertain monsters watching knights killing themselves, thus having a PvP game with monsters involved wouldn't make sense; but I still think this game would be ineteresting enough to play periodically. I'm still supporting.
I think that this game is a great idea for increasing the diversity present here in SK.

I skimmed through the original post and one thought immediately came into mind: Age of Empires. I already love this idea. The problem is where profit comes around to Three Rings; Lockdown and Blast Network allow energy revivals, but your post says the allied monsters are spawned by an energy separate from your own character. All it needs is something to encourage players to buy CE and we will probably see this as new content in a few months.
i like this idea very much, but i was wondering what kind of traps would come with the field and also you said something about choosing element types before starting the game. is the controller allowed to unleash any elemental type monster to the opposing knights.
-how will the gates be aligned? will they be vertical in a straight line or like in a circle.
- is there a greater reward for playing a tier 3 versus playing a tier 1?
-what about having a penalty for the losing players, like for losing, the player or players would lose one prestige from the total amount. im not sure if it should be one or 5, not sure in the amount.
-i don't think players who just started to play the game, unless they have the equipment shouldn't have the option to chose tier 2 or 3.
-turrets and greavers get really annoying especially if there different elemental types like poison and fire. are the players allowed to spawn those continuously with a low cool down?
-does the controller have a health bar because after destroying every gate, or does the controller go down with one swing?
-how do the knights oversee the field, you said they "The person doesn't show but they are in fly mode". does that mean they float around and are able to see the knights face to face while the knights cant see the controller until they have destroyed all the gates.
- i would really like to have the knights to see the controller as two big pair of eyes surrounded by darkness or something very menacing. that way they will have more of a motive to take him/her down. it could be like a small animation like how snarbolax appears to the knights in the previous levels before fighting him
-are drones included in the fight cause they do also get annoying.
well these are the only issues i have so far with the idea, over all i support this idea.
1. Players could just opt to have random generator
2. Cooldown sounds like the way to go.
3. If a single person is allowed control of the room, I don't think people would like the guy too long. (AKA develop a random denomination of who controls the room, if this weren't Capt. Obvious enough)
4. I see this being more of a "People who complete T3" option than one in which a mere noob can do. Could there be a way to adjust the interface to better suit even the newer players? Or will this have a system more akin to lockdown (higher tier gets more selection basically)?
5.I think some unique "twists" should be available to the controller for some manner of cost (be it X health lost in 10 secs or whatever)... these twists could include:
Spawning a drone knight of Randomly generated set in the tier for a few seconds (i.e. mad bomber, snarbolax set, angelic set, etc.)
Spawning a bomb payload on the group (5, 10, 20 randomly generated bombs in a drop, location randomly determined)
Creature "Upgrades"
Status effect fields opening in randomized locations (limit the space of the arena)
6. The window that asks if people want to play again should provide privacy in this case and should only ask the players individually... not give away the controller's id because I see some people becoming very... unhappy with controllers should they prove a tad too good.
7.If the controller receives those twists, allow some health drops to fully restore the knights. Enable certain perks to be available to the knights as well. (Don't know as of yet what said perks would be)
