Everybody is saying that "OOO should really put in guild halls customizing instead of making the game too easy" but what do we want to be able to customize them to?

Basically say what you want to change in guild halls, useful features?, token based guild halls?, maybe costs to change it?.

Because the GMs need to know what to make customizable.

Maybe training halls where you can select an enemy from a menu and do 1 on 1 combat with it but no reward for fighting just practise?

Maybe a auction house inter guild that will allow guild members to only sell items to other guild members?

Possibly other things to do with guilds like amount of members expansion?

Tell me everything you are thinking of!

my idea

make guild halls somewhat connected with guild pvp and make new items exclusively for guild pvp.
maybe it can be possible capture other guild guildhall in guild pvp;)

Anything guild base I always figured would be purchasable (a guild bank or some such where guildies can donate crowns and/or CE and vote on what should be bought next, with only guild masters being able to purchase the upgrades). I don't think the guild halls actually need anything game changing at all, or anything that actually affects gameplay in any serious way, certainly not any "guild only" items, but just smaller, aesthetic things would be nice just to liven up the area in which guilds hang out, giving people more of a reason to be there rather than "the view is nice" (altough I must say that the camera-changing angle on the view itself is amazing).

*Training Hall would be nice; have a wee dummy model there to let you attack and check your damage
*Some of the more basic NPC vendor shops, such as an AH portal
*Fashion/Accessories for the guild hall itself (buying banners, drapes etc...) to fancify it the hall up a bit
*Warehouse, where guildies can dump un-bound items into a box that guildies can take stuff and use it, put their own stuff in; just for sharing random lower level or spare stuff you have
*Trophy/Taxidermy Heads off the bosses mounted on the wall, with stats telling you various things (such as number of cumulative guild kills)

I think what you have put are some great ideas but you could also have items for like an example the top ten lockdown guilds and theme your guild hall to a lockdown arena or a "Your guild is 5 years old!" adversarial banner thing maybe?

Prizes based on acheivements, you mean? Even if they are just mailed from a GM based on forum votes or anything that's not practical to code into it, things that can be implemented into the guild hall to show off all your successes (even though the guildies ever get to see it!), would work well, aye. No reason not to have some LD/Bomberman banners or trophies that can be thrown around the hall after a certain number of (consecutive?) wins of PvP!

Guild halls need a notice board. That would be useful and help hold guilds together socially.

Buy items as well as achieve some

I think we would need a combination of items that we can achieve by doing certain things as well buying some.

Other wise it wouldn't be fair if 1 player spent tons of £/$ on the game and got the guild all the customizations. Some need to be got through playing such as a guild total of "something" clockwork runs to get a certain customization.

Also i figured it would be cool if you could customize certain areas such as different types of floor, walls, change the view, add trophie shelves and expansions to the area as a whole.

(By view I mean the part where the camera turns to a cool angle so maybe you could change what it was looking over)

Maybe also add a podium so someone can stand on and talk to the rest of the guild?

Different kind of thread

I understand that there is one to do with what to add to the guild hall but this thread isn't really all about what to add, it's more about what to customize.

We all agree that we want an AH portal and an arena to face monsters of some kind but there is a lot more then just adding to it so i think this thread is perfectly all right without needing to be thinking that there is no point in looking at this on.

I agree and think it would be a good idea to customize your guild hall with tokens to suit that type of boss / level.

But you can have combinations of different customizations.

for eg. You could change the view to a similar one just before the RT, you could have a RJP floor with tiny (un-interactable) slimes on the floor with a bit of grass, you could have a foresty sort of wall plan with trees coming out and maybe shadow fire flames in certain areas like next to the crafting machine.
