I saw Stagger Storm in use recently, and it was pretty effective. Kind of like Voltaic Tempest, but with highly predictable monsters. Do it do it do it do it.

Sadly, it's been shown that even with the poison bonus, Plague Needle does LESS damage than Blitz Needle. Even taking into account two Blitz users + 1 Plague user, the damage bonus granted to the Blitz users from poison does not or barely makes up for the reduced damage of Plague Needle. The only reason to get Plague Needle then, is to reduce the damage Vana deals to you (effectiveness unconfirmed, but should work somewhat), or because it's cool and different from the Blitz.

I have both the Plague and Blitz Needle guns... And the Plague does SIGNIFICANTLY less damage. More than 15% I think. However, the main bonus is the +dam from poison. If you have like 2 other Blitz Needle users, the overall DPS DRAMATICALLY increases. That's all you really need.

@Scottish-Archer unless you want poison for the reduced attack damage on mobs, no, poison it not worth it. And the difference is a lot more than 15%, according my numbers (you can check some real data in FSC here : http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/35702 last post).
DPS-wise, except for edge case of speedrun (and even there, with realistic situation it would be very close), no reason to go for Plague.

In any case, you can still resell Mod Calibrator or Enamorock to make some use of your coins.

Nobody plays tank in sk while diving. The monsters just scale too fast and too hard to be taking hits. Just kill them all faster with other trinks.

in the original post you ruled out the triglav, i was wondering why? right now im sitting with a grintovec and trying to get the krogmo coins together for the upgrade. dispite the smaller speed bar compared to the DA and other heavy swords, it is exactly the same when you use it. and it does more damage. another posotive (but sometimes a negative) its its huge knockback, like seriously, send zombies to the moon with that thing. unlike all other status effecting swords, it does not need a charge to be able to freeze enemies, the second hit of the combo has a chance of doing it also. and finaly it is one of only 2 swords in the game that does the freeze effect. i have seen people completly tearing FSC apart with a Triglav, maybe you should consider it? and keep up the youtube vids man, theyr awesome!

i dont know definetly, i am going by the stats. but keeping in mind the speed stat is wrong, the damage may also be. and also the Triglav looks badass!

The Triglav and Sudaruska are horribly underpowered weapons that are rarely used for any reason other than the novelty. As heavy swords they're outclassed by the Divine Avenger and Gran Faust, as normal swords the Leviathan is far better.

Stagger storm is a must have weapon for everything. Not only can you stun+unstun to glitch enemies into killing your party (so you can heat your weapons 20% faster), but you can hit enemies with biohazzard shots left and right when they are stunned... its my favorite weapon by far.
