Are we meant to drown in Almirian Seals? Give us something useful to buy, like a Shadow Fang of Vog.

Now, after Vana became more easy than Advanced Training Hall's Scuttlebots - what next?
Are we gonna drown in Almirian Seals?
Gives us at least something useful to buy, like a Shadow Fang of Vog.
Take this burning cutter called Fang of Vog, change the hue up to its glowing purple, change the damage to normal + shadow, give it a fancy name, done :)
Buy the way, you could change both swords charge attack to a 5 hit attack to make it more "über"! ;)

Its pretty frustrating that u cant use the FoV on Gremlin and Beast!

Another option fot you is to play some T3 outside of Vana.

"Now, after Vana became more easy than Advanced Training Hall's Scuttlebots - what next?"
1. Try again with proto armor
2. Shadow Lairs
3. Shadow Lairs with proto armor
4.Pics/video to prove you did it

Heard of something called 'balance' ?

You can. I like to slowly burn things.

1) No problem with proto

1) No problem with proto armor.
Would even be possible with proto-gear if the server would not be rebooting after 24h and if humans would not need sleep.
(doing 12 and 15 dmg u need roughly 100 hits to kill a Zombie).
I checked several points in FSC, all could be done using proto-gear only.

This room only took me 15 min.

'balance':
The balance of this game is pretty much not consistent. so, who cares?
Example:
A CIV with 2 elite slash and a barbarous thorn shield does less dmg on undead than a Leviathan (250 vs 271 on D24).
A Combuster/Glacius/Voltedge with ASI max and no damage UV does 572dps (D24) on undead (12.5s to do 8 three strike combo attacks)
a FoV does 412dps (D24) on undead (15,7s to do 8 three strike combo attacks)
The FOVs charge attack on undead is pretty strong: 670dps (if you attack right after u charged up), but on strong enemies Combuster/Glacius/Voltedge kills faster since u need 2 charges to kill those monsters with 4 players and using the brandish line has the slide advantage of not getting toasted!

So, 5 hits would not be more unbalanced

I don't think Almirian items

I don't think Almirian items were meant to be worth while, considering they are "free" 5* equips. While I would love new items as well, I don't think it will happen.

@Asukalan Nobody likes backseat mods. Let the real ones do their job.

What about

-Snarby
-Jelly King
-Rhom Twins

"But they're not end game bosses"

Yet they are bosses, still, so why should we add more "rewards" for one boss, and not all. Because he's harder? That doesn't sound very fair, now does it? I can probably get twice as many Jelly gems, maybe even triple, as opposed to your seals. You think you're drowning?

If they do it to one, they need to do it to all
and that would take weapon model skin designs, effect designs for charge attacks. Balance issues, and it would sidetrack them from what's at hand.

This: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/40054

Which will probably include new rewards, and a new thing to do instead of just "Duke Nukem"

Not because it's harder.

Not because it's harder. Because it's the one that you're likely to be fighting when you're done with the "lower ones" for the rest of you virtual life.

Some costumes for 100, 300 and 1000 seals would be neat.

Actually

Actually, Vanaduke isn't hard if you go ready for it, as every other boss does. It is just a "long" boss. Also, as all equipment gets nerfed in every different depth level, we could actually say that, yes, each boss is at the same level.

So, yes, I am ok with having costumes and such for every boss with X number of Seals.

And, for OP, I actually find the Shadow shield something I may want.

Jussayin...

"Now, after Vana became more easy than Advanced Training Hall's Scuttlebots - what next?"

They're actually...SHUFFLEBOTS I believe. SCUTTLEbots are the little spider-like things that shoot gunpuppy shots.

Also, you might want to get a little more creative. "Shadow Fang of Vog" seems like a recycled-and-spit-out idea, not to mention it makes no sense. Why would you get a Shadow weapon from a boss that is clearly Fire? Only if you were beating Darkfire Vanaduke would that make sense, and they drop the same tokens.

In addition, "Vog" is a creature of enormous power, but it's not Shadow power. It's Flame. He's an entity of enormous *fire*power (chuckles at his own joke), so Shadow Fang of Vog is like having a Piercing Pulsar. It doesn't match the theme.

Come up with something a little more original first; but also, I find it rare that they actually *add* rewards after the boss has been out (Since the beginning of the game, in this case) for a while, as it causes balance issues very commonly.
