that they are rare, it'd be a shame if all of a sudden 9 out of 10 knights have wings. And i hope they are rare in a way that allows for everyone to have an equal shot at it, such as lockboxes, random drops, found on an enemy, random boss drop, etc...... Even tho i'm one of a select few that coudl buy them if they were auctioned, i'd much rather see them being somethign that was pure chance luck, so everyone had an equal shot. [lockboxes woudl be good in my opinion, b/c then everyone willing to take the risk would have an equal shot, but there'd still be some risk involved]
or, if they are easily accessible to EVERYONE, like snipe heads were, i hope that they have a runout time like xmas masks did. I really don't want spiral knights to forever be the game where 95% of all knights have dragon wings on their backs. If these are a free give away, or very very cheaply obtained (and permanent) then in a week from now wingless knights will forever be the minority.

honestly, i love my armor
honestly, i love my armor sets just the way they are, very few do i deem accessories to me necessary.
but, a set of those volcanic wings would convince me to make a salamander set, maybe wings are sort of an armor prismatic- as in they match whatever armor they are attached to

Someone's paranoid. Really, they're event items. It is a given that players who join after said event has ended are going to miss out. That is the very nature of limited time events, my friend. If these end up stupid-hard to get, or end up expiring, then I'm just going to feel jipped. Santy Hats were already bad enough. And really, add more stuff to the Iron Lockboxes? I don't see myself spending 75,000 energy for a set of military dragon wings and a bunch of oversupplied accessories that aren't worth much of anything, if you get my drift. When I see 'event' in celebration of a holiday or anything of that sort I don't expect anything that is stupid difficult or ridiculously expensive to acquire.

Ok so the picture with dragon wings has a snarbolax, salamander and sumin else. I'm sure dragon wings will be an armor back accessory and volcanic/normal salamander suits don't have a armor back accessory slot so is it a mistake? or is it just like a new thing which isn't armor back?

If you Read one of the Comments on the Facebook Post, some guy Mentions that Salamander Suits can't Wear Back Items. It may be a Developer's Flaw.
EDIT: Kinda late on that one, but yeah. Don't make one 'till we get an update on it.

Yeah, that's entirely possible, I wouldnt even consider doing it at the moment anyway, as I'm going into the tortuous process of raising a cobalt armor and helm to 4* so I can nab the Crusader set my next Shadow Lair run.
I would only make that set should it be possible, as I already have Grey feather and Skolver for FSC and RJP; the set would be purely cosmetic :P

I own a sleep UV spiral demo set, and a sleep UV Snarb set, they might not be attainable, but certinaly purchaseable, older players may have kept sleep UVs as a collectible, I know I am.
And as for bombheads and bandos, they're not exclusive to bombers, in fact I hardly see many bombers with a bando, and 75% of bombers I see just have mad bomber mask as a costume (Or spam them with accessories~). Stranger hats suck IMO, and I see more snarb coats with them than demo suits, and 3 accessories is nothing, its not like we have anything EXCLUSIVE.

That idea of Brinks' backpack would be awesome, I'd wear that. Surely since Bechamel got a rare item we could get one for Brinks too?
I agree with the eyes, although it would be a litle pointless (Do it anyway, wolver lines will SUFFER :U) since you hardly ever see your eyes, silly camera angles.
The only back accessory I like is the vitakit, because it can hide the ugly on some armors, and I'm picky like that :D

@Echoez i used Test Server link and found directory of spiral_preview but on first look i couldnt find them (wings), same when downloadaded Test Server client manually. Both client from link and downloaded have updated for about 200MB of data Oo.
On normal spiral knights client/folder i could find folders named like accesories, weapons etc but it seems on spiral_preview its more complicated.
further studies needed.

Bomb suits should be able to equip auras, back accessories, and everything, just like all other armors. so shoudl sally suits. Why would u campaign otherwise, it would hurt you absolutely 0% for people who want to wear bomb suits to have tails or wings on them. I just dont' get it, as i have said time and time again. Why does anyone come on here and argue "yeah, we should limit creativity and choices. no, you shouldn't want back accessories for your bomb armor, it wouldn't make sense."
also, your argument is clearely flawed. I have seen less than 10% of stranger hats ewquipped to bomb armors. And bombheads are for all armors, not just bomber armors.

thats why,
i'd recommend:
bombheads can be given Helm top accessories and it removes the wick automaticall
Bombersuits would remove that backpack when u equipped a back accessory (plus it clips with shields in haven, which is annoying too)
Sally suits could accept wings, and tails, well, it could just double up like wolver caps do with vert vents. so be it. (and they should be able to get aura's too. Perhaps not deadly virulisk as it has poison aura. or an aura could replace the poison aura) And while they are at it, make the poison aura a stand alone aura for other armors :)

That normally is the reason that you can't put a back accessorie on; except it's mildly contradicted by the the teaser picture of the Wings OOO showed us. Case in point, on the farthest right, the Knight appears to be wearing a Volcanic Salamander suit; which SHOULDN'T be able to accept back accessories. Could this mean that OOO may make a modification, or allow the accessory to attach to certain armor like the Chroma Suit series? (A bomb suit with Wings seems a bit hard to imagine due to what kind of clipping there would be for a bomber suit).
It may be that they'll add an extra section for accessories on armors, like having back sides instead of just the back and front.
