Sir Choobski of Failington succeed in halting the bastardization of the english language, for quite some time, a fortnight ago.
There was some sort of time warp that brought him, his computer, & wifi with him to a time before dreadful slangs & when people showed respect.
I proceeded to follow sir choob through this phenomenon & we spent a jolly day bromancing about, with class.
Great night last night, had more fun playing than in a while.
- Did many runs hunting for cake and the race to join before the slots filled up. Damn you, Korakc and your join speed.
- Lots of old-timers joined up on Mumble and a party ensued. Moonsoon's music selection was eclectic but very enjoyable.
- Repartee showed us how he is the king of running laps around the fountain, wasn't even a contest.
- Got some great players to join up on EoS; Becs, Sunless (finally!) and we tricked Dirt into coming back and he was stuck since no one else was around to invite him back into Guild. Sorry, Dirt :(
- Flabbergasted in the sheer amount of time and resources spent by Nj and Moonsoon in buying confetti. Apparently buying it 10 at a time is way too slow when you're shooting for 10K confetti.

This shenanigans is dedicated to all you guys who insisted it be a novel: Moonsoon, Mr-Mini-Dwarf and Retequizzle.
A sneaky dwarf and his subsequent mumble invasion
The thing I love most about this guild, hands down, is how everyone has such a great time in-game and on mumble. Mostly, this can be attributed to the GM & officers' good eye for players who are super friendly and have a great sense of humour. Sometimes though, we are simply such a close group that we invariably end up pulling friends of friends into our guild circle.
Fallout and Mr-Mini-Dwarf (why do I always end up writing about the Aussies?) are kinda like this, 'cause they know each other in real and we all know that Mini-Dwarf applied to EoS just so he could keep up the bromance with Fallout ;) Now, Fallout's headed west over the Easter break so naturally he can't collect cake slices to trade in for frosted helms, right? So, Mr-Mini-Dwarf, being the awesome bff he is, was running around today on Fallout's account helping him out with the tokens.
Meanwhile, Nj had just come back from being in Unity and was being promoted through the ranks.
Dogrock promoted Njthug to Member.

.. all in the norm. Everyone's welcoming Nj back in mumble chat and asking about what it's like to be in Unity, when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw this:

The sneaky dwarf! I was laughing my silly shorts off for a good minute or two because nobody had suspected anything at all. Everyone had either been so encapsulated by Nj's storytelling or so busy running in-game that Mr-Mini-Dwarf's ingenious plan to rise up through the ranks to overthrow the GMs had gone unnoticed. (Get ready for the takeover guys, I'm tellin' ya!)
Anyway, so I was laughing my silly shorts off, genuinely amused at how oblivious everyone was. Even Dogrock hadn't picked up on it! But since I was playing it safe, I had to tell Nj.
Nj: (laughing) omg that sneaky Fallout
Njthug demoted to Fallout to Veteran.
Cava: No nj! That's Mr-Mini-Dwarf on Fallout's account! Fallout's gone somewhere for his Easter break.

I could just picture in my head Minidwarf going 'WHAT!' like he always does when he's outraged by something.
The best thing though was the fact that Minidwarf wasn't in Mumble when all this happened, so to the typical bystander it almost appeared as if Nj was mad at what happened. Not only this, but because Nj had originally demoted Fallout to a Veteran, Minidwarf couldn't send himself an invite back into the guild. Poor Minidwarf, I wept for my fellow Aussie friend ;(
But Minidwarf was not to be deterred by this minor hindrance. Already, he was falling back on Plan B. Like the saying goes, 'If you can't beat them, join them.' .. or in this case, get them to join you by turning everyone in EoS into a dwarf. It started with Repartee who turned darkside loooong ago when he changed his name to MR-LARGE-DWARF, but my good friends, on this occasion Minidwarf really outdid himself.

Where Minidwarf pits our two GMs, Dogrock and Njthug, against each other. Admins in Mumble can't change their names, even if they want to, but this didn't phase Minidwarf at all.

Not only has he begun to scheme all sorts of ways in which he can fuel hate between our usually-lovely GMs, but I bet right now - those gargling/platypus noises he makes when he greets people in Mumble? SUBLIMINAL MESSAGING. SUBLIMINAL MESSAGING.
By the time he takes over, I'll be seriously crossing my fingers in the hopes that he'll spare me because I'm Aussie, hahaha.

So, I met up with my friend Externalknight one day and we said hi. I told him I'm bored, and she said she's bored too. I suddenly recalled why I added her as my friend... she was asking something about plate shields, and I went up to her and helped her out. I played some jokes just to be funny, and she added me. Well I guess she was funny too so I added her.
Since we can play jokes, why not make a prank on someone? So we decided to disguise ourselves as a full proto newbie, and execute a prank to a random tier 3 guy (let's call him A). I call it the "Rock Energy Prank".
It went something like this:
Snow: Hello sir, I need some help over here.
A: Ok sure.
Snow: Do you have any rock energy?
A: What?
External: You have any rock energy?
A: Umm you mean crystal energy?
Snow: No, ROCK energy, not crystal.

So it turns out the other day NJ was trying to get a hold of a "Toasty Birthday Candle" or something along those lines and had let everyone in mumble know of his desire to have this magical accessory. Lord knows what drives him to own what could be considered the single largest collection of every possible item that CAN be worn on a knight.
Well some terrible (valiant?) knight had put it upon themselves to drive the price of the candle to 10x it's original bid price in a matter of minutes. As NJ began yelling on about how it was me I felt the strongest desire to defend myself on the forums and prove my innocence.
However dear knight, what you did was terrible. But we know that you are the hero that Haven deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll hunt you... because you can take it... because you are not a hero... you're a silent guardian, a watchful recon... a Spiral Knight...

So, one day ShortnSkinny, Aedium, one of my friends Fiestaloco and I were doing a FSC run, and all of a sudden Repartee says to invite Heinouz to EoS. We did, and Heinouz was in rescue camp, so a couple of us(including me) grabbed an alt and hopped over to the rescue camp to see what was going on. I ended up in a run with Heinouz, but I personally have no idea who it is. I think it's Repartee, but can't be sure.
