I have been bored lately on SK... probably the first time in awhile.
Snarby twins= Too easy... only reason to do them is for gear and monster bones/bushy tails.
Jelly King=I did it so many times already but still sortof fun.
Roarmulus Twins= Least favorite boss because of lag...
Vanaduke- I just get tired of seeing it sometimes.
Shadow Lairs- I have only done one but they are fun, sadly they don't come around very often.

I know Nicoya-Kitty is having fun with JK and RT with peircing weapons but I will never be that patient.

The update was dissapointing imo, even though I know there wasn't a ETA on any of it (got excited for nothing lol).

This week I have only done crafting and not much more, then logging off...( I don't have time to play too much during the week, it just depends)

So, my question is what do you do for fun on SK rather than repetitive bosses and challenging them with different weapons?
Which boss (shadow lair or normal) is your favorite, and why?

Thanks.

EDIT: Lockdown is pretty fun but I don't have much to accomplish in it, I don't have the time to try to be on the top 10 list...

Do other gates besides the bosses. Like, gates chock full of arenas(I say around 3 would be nice.) offer a fair challenge and a good awards too.

As for bosses...I would have to break that down. xD

Snarbolax(Both the Original and the Poison Twins.) - For the design. Freakin Shadow Plant Wolver thing YEAH!

Vanaduke - Fairly interesting back story behind him. Kinda makes you pity him as well. :(

Gate without bosses are actually even MORE tedious and boring, imo.

We need some new content, so with the "Year of the Dragon" (Need to check Wikipedia on that. If it is then YAY!) thing going on, they might as well make a dragon boss or SOMETHING .

hehehe.

@Kreuz-Drache

Notice that not everyone gots Elevator passes.
For people like me, I have to use my mist wisely ( By wisely I mean SL/Vanaduke )

Lockdown? It is fun, but it gets bored after playing 10 matches or so.

I'm with you. We had the Snarbolax back in June, Twins in July, and since then... Lockdown? Yeah. Shadow Lairs are prohibitively expensive and not worthwhile. Lockdown is fun in small doses, even if it desperately needs to be rebalanced.

Let me know when there is something to do, not just something to buy.

I am glad others agree with me....

I agree completly with Xlyka, and also a new tier 3 boss is well overdue. I am also very dissapointed on the lack of content, they just make awesome acessories so you will want buy them etc.( Same with shadow lairs in terms of gear, just revamp bosses, so nothing really NEW) to get money ( I think acessories are laughable because I think its a waste, only ones you want are the ones you can't have unless you have money). Anyways thanks for all the input I appreciate it.

I don't have a pass.
That expired awhile ago. I use my Mist currently. :P

You don't need a pass. Just the right gate.

T3 gates filled with arenas can give you just as much, if not a little bit more/less than a Vana run. Granted, you need at least 3 arenas in my opinion. I'm just saying, if you want variety and money, they're not a bad option.(And a little less laggy in my opinion.)

Gate without bosses are actually even MORE tedious and boring, imo.

Different strokes for different blokes, I guess. I figure doing the same(Maybe a little different, if you decide to go different paths in Vana's or Twins run.) would be much more tedious and boring than doing a different variety of levels that do change.

Agreed.

I have been bored for quite some time, and for the majority of that time i grinded away playing neways, just because, while the game was no longer fun, hanging out with friends was fun.

But yeah. For over a month now, i have only logged on to craft with alts and manage some Unity guild affairs. And to obsessively sift through AH stuff and featured auctions. Featured auctions have increased the games life for me, but not in a sense that i can play it longer, more just in the sense that i can hang out in haven looking swell for longer. (even have my eye on another costume, lol).

So yeah, i haven't played in quite a bit. In fact, i am on a self-mandated "play-break" as a minor and ineffectual protest, refusing to play until new content is released--despite my guildmates constantly trying to convince me to play just one more floor, or game of lockdown. But I abstain out of self-preservation.

I loved this qutoe "Let me know when there is something to do, not just something to buy." hit the nail right on the head.

Just to explain my position. I am refusing to play only because i have loved the game deeply (in a video game sense) and because i believe i have about 20 -40 more good hours of fun, maybe 50 with new content. Thus i refuse to grind away the remaining hours of fun at twice the price and half the payoff, by repetitively doing the same things that i was repetitively doing after i was long since bored of...well..this same repetitive actions.

So its for saving the last of my interest and enjoyment for the game (for the mutual interest of me and OOO) that i abstain from playing until they give us new content. When they do, i will come back for as long as i can mine new and novel fun from that content, then i'll break again and wait for them to give me something else of new and varied to experience.

Its sorta like if you were told you only had 30 days left to live, you'd want to treasure each and spend it with people you love in places you want to be, not grinding out 160+ more hours of work at the tedious job you've found yourself stuck in. In this case, they are days of fun left, not days of my life, and loved ones is replaced by fun new experiences, and the tedious job is replaced by the tedium of doing 10 more FSC or jelly runs.

I could find endless hours more fun of new content. I could ruin the game by playing the same content for another 40 hours.

Im in Eos we tend never to

Im in Eos we tend never to get that bored, and when it happens we just create runs such as all bombs no shields, no shield fsc, all gun runs no shield (are really easy), and many other types of runs, and if we don't feel like doing that we cause havoc in the havens by either attempting to recruit new people into our guild or just having a good laugh with friends, but when the game gets a bit boring (I been playing over a year) I tend to just play real-life its pretty interesting game, but remember you can't ce revive in real life....Poor Bob learned that the hard way.
