The Gladiator
This will likely be my last character submission. Just about every other type of character has already been suggested.
Name: Rollin
Gender: Male
History/Background: During the attack on the Iron Claw Munitions factory, Rollin and his squad were captured and taken to a large Gremlin fortress known as the Arena where they would be used as gladiators and pitted day after day against waves of beasts, constructs, and gremlin criminals. The onslaught went on for months and little by little, the small band of knights was slowly killed off till only Rollin remained. In one last daring effort, he managed to escape and make his way to an elevator that brought him back home.
After his return, he almost went crazy from the memories of the utter horror he had endured, but was eventually was able to recuperate to some degree. Scars from his past are still very prominent in how he deals with enemies though.
Personality: Serious, quite, and an amazingly calm most of the time. After enduring a hellish experience like the Arena, there isn’t much that surprises Rollin. He spends a lot of his time deep in thought and his hatred for Gremlins knows no bounds. When fighting Gremlins, he has a tendency to completely lose control; becoming heartless, reckless, and extremely violent.
Strength: His time in the Arena has given Rollin training and experience like no other. Most of what he encounters now is fairly light weight compared to what he has experienced. He can handle multiple enemies simultaneously using very little resources and gets the maximum use out of his weapons.
Weakness: Rollin is a bit of a head-case. The mental and emotional scars from the Arena make Rollin a gamble to take on missions. In some cases, he’s a life saver and other times, his recklessness can put the rest of his team in jeopardy.
Weapons: Any, during his time in the Arena, Rollin was given no weapons and forced to use anything he could find or salvage from his fallen enemies.
Relations: His lost squad

Expendability: I wouldn’t like to see any of my characters get killed off, but I leave that up to you.

Hope everything is coming along fine Happy. I'll submit another character since it seems like you haven't been getting a lot lately. As always make any revisions you deem necessary if you like the character.
Name: Arbuckle
Role: Combat Engineer
Gender: Male
Obvious: Support character that plays the role of engineer in the squad.
Personality: A cheerful and by the book squad member. Arbuckle finds his true calling in the lab but recent events on Cradle have resulted in his team’s deployment into the clockworks. Skilled in manipulating the various locks and terminals in the clockworks and analyzing the tech behind enemy weapons, Arbuckle can assist to squads moving through the clockworks, as well as provide limited fire support.
Skills/abilities: Functions primarily as fire support and can provide controlled demolition where necessary. Skilled in hacking through security doors and consoles as well as analyzing enemy technology and arms. Can quickly cut through reinforced doors and debris using a modified Searing Edge. Also able to maintain and manually operate the stationary railguns that Spiral HQ deploys around defensive perimeters.
Combat: Although a pacifist at heart, Arbuckle has seen his fair share of combat. He is lightly armored, and as a result prefers to provide fire support from the rear of his squad. His preferred sidearm is a Volatile Catalyzer which he uses for combat as well as controlled demolitions. When forced into close quarters combat Arbuckle makes use of a Searing Edge which has a boosted power source he modified to more easily cut through sealed doors in the clockworks.

A few things on word bubbles
Hey Hap,
I have a small tip/criticism for you regarding word bubbles. I'm not sure how familiar you are with word bubbles in general, but I noticed that your placement of the bubbles themselves are a bit off. For instance, in This panel I found it rather difficult to determine what was happening till I read the panel through and pieced it together afterwards.
Here is the proper way to place word bubbles as it follows the natural way we read and most people who read comics will find it much easier to understand what is going on. Example 1 Example 2

Relations:He have a brother,an annoying one indeed who runs around in a Brute Jelly Mail.He has a love interest names Jyoshi but thats up to Happy to do it.
'Twist' Degree: Aschk was injured by a phantom while in the Graves and the wound caused him to turn into a half-phantom. He then starts to go berserk and kill everything in his path.When he coming to a realization, he can't stop himself from killing his friends and then sacrifice himself by falling to the Core.

Some ideas.
I know there are a lot of ideas to sort through, and it's unlikely mine will be implemented but I have a pair of characters I thought up:
First Idea
Name: Hygron
Role: Swordmaster
Gender: Male
Rank: Champion-Vanguard, does not have to lead a squad, but could
Personality: Calm, cool, and collected. Doesn't say much and when he does it's short and sarcastic. Despite his seemingly uncaring demeanor, he generally wants to help his team mates and would give his life if he knew he could save the squad. He is hard on his brother (that's the next character) Thyes, as he was expected his brother to be as good a warrior as he is. Regardless he will protect his sibling ruthlessly. He retreats even further from his teammates after his brother is killed (just an idea).
Skills/Abilities: Hygron is extremely skilled with the blade, can match the best with his fighting. Prefers to fight with his sword reverse-gripped (if this is possible through Spiral Spy). He's agile and deft in a fight. Uses Acheron and Divine Avenger.
Appearance: Helm- Surge Breaker Helm. Armor- Ironmight Plate Mail and Azure Guardian Crest. Shield- Crest of Almire. Swords: Acheron and Divine Avenger, keeps the weapon he is not handling slung over his back. Personal Color: Violet.
Background: When he and his younger brother were orphaned by an ambush on their parents, they sought refuge in the Spiral Order. Inducted at a young age, it was unclear whether Hygron would make an able knight. Once his training began, he was immediately hailed as a prodigy with the blade. Trained by Feron himself, Hygron quickly gained respect as he was promoted. The effectiveness of his peculiar fighting-style, holding his sword in a reverse-grip, gained him a reputation. When Feron discovered the layer if the gremlin Warmaster Seerus he personally chose Hygron as one of Operation Crimson Hammer. Engaging Seerus in a heated one-on-one duel, he narrowly defeated the gremlin and saved Feron's life. Now he is being called on to aid in the investigation of the dark zones.
Relations: His brother Thyes and whatever squad the two are in.
Twist: 50%
Expendability: He doesn't have to be a part of the story the whole time, but I'd prefer he survives the parts he is in.
Second Idea
Name: Thyes
Role: the Spiral Order's best Biotech to date
Gender: Male
Rank: Soldier-Knight, in the same squad as Hygron
Personality: High energy, friendly, talks a lot (and loudly), and is always cracking jokes He is eager to help despite his low ranking and somewhat inept combat ability. He is eager to please his brother Hygron who is disappointed in his lack of combat ability. Even though he can't fight very well he still proves helpful to the team, although he does not realize it because he thinks he needs to be like his older sibling to be useful. Extremely curious about what the dark zones may mean.
Skills: He has excellent aim with his gun, but his true skill lies in his knowledge. He knows everything there is to know about his field of research. The extent of his knowledge rivals that of even Chief Biotech Hahn.
Appearance: Helm- Fused Demo Helm, Military Scarf, and Military Helm-Mounted Display. Armor- Tabard of the Green Rose. Shield- Scarlet Shield. Gun- Prismatech Alchemer MK II. Personal Color- Ultramarine.
Background: Thyes was reluctant to join the Spiral Order, as he did not enjoy violence. He acquiesced when his brother convinced him it was their only option. Thyes did not show any particular skill or interest in swordplay, and his marksmanship was satisfactory at best. Many considered him a failure. Only when he took an interest in becoming a Biotech did his true potential come out. It was not long before he surpassed even Chief Biotech Hahn in his knowledge and understanding of the life on Cradle and of Cradle itself. He was responsible for definitively analyzing and explaining the entity now referred to as The Swarm. He may be the key to solving the mystery of the dark zones.
Relations: His brother Hygron and whatever squad they're in.
Twist: 50%
Expendability: More expendable than Hygron, in fact I'd like it if he died at some point to expand Hygron's character.

Name: Kyle (formally adressed as Mr.Claire)
Gender: Male
Personallity: Kyle is rather cold and reckless to people, and sometimes even desperate. However he shows his respect to mutual friends. He remains cool under pressure upon danger, despite he doesn't seem to strategize along with the squad. He used to be loyal and caring person until the day that an accident happened of a loss of a squad member.
Appearance: Wears a Chapeau of the Black Rose with Fancy Mech'tennas on, he also has a Volcanic Mustache. It also goes with Sinster Skelly Suit with Nightblade's shealth(if not possible, replace with Fancy Parrying Blade) attached on the right side of his armor. Lastly I do not want to forget, a Swiftstrike Buckler. His personal colour is violet.

Personality: A Character of regality and fire, she admires style over substance as befitting upper class royalty. She is an expert smith of accessories (not a weapon-smith) and gear enhancements who knows just what a fighter's armor needs to make it both more functional and more fashionable. She would not be part of a squad, but rather a neutral creature of the world that both friend and foe alike come to for consultation and customized crafting. Her integrity in a business transaction is absoute, but Knights should not necessarily trust her to side with them in a fight.
She has pet dragons whose food of preference is beasts.
In business mode she wears her full Dragon Scale Mail and Helm as well as the flaming Dragon Scale Shield, with a Furious Flamberge at her side.
In fighting mode she puts on her Radiant Silvermail and a Heavenly Helm. Her weapon of choice are a Combuster, Ash of Agni, and Argent Peacemaker.
The Dragon Princess's Fashion Appreciation Thread has been featured on the Spiral Knights Facebook page.
I do not mind if she is killed off as she will not be a major character, but she better take a helluva lot of monsters and castles with her.

Appearance/Armor: Like a normal Devilite, except has a scar in the shape of a star on his belly. Wears a modified elemental hood to fit his head size. No body armor, uses speed to avoid damage instead
Weapons: Dual Sentenzas and anything else that is beside him that he can throw. (But mostly uses the Sentenzas)
History/Background: Blue was working at his office peacefully one day and was expecting a promotion soon from his boss. Suddenly, the walls of the office exploded, and a squadron of knights burst through the hole. They started to smash everything up, including Blue's precious portfolio that he had been working on for the past 50 years. Then the knights started looting the databases for information. By the time the knights finished rampaging through,all the other Devillites were down, and Blue was severely wounded, which left a star-shaped scar on his belly. Seeking revenge for his co-workers, his boss, and his portfolio, he followed after the rampaging knights. After buying stealing some Sentenzas from an Arms Depot, Blue wanders around by himself to try and get revenge, and killing all the knights he can find.
Relations: Used to have co-workers, until the incident and now wanders alone
'Twist' Degree: Doesn't matter how much you change him into. He could even be a knight working deep undercover to check out the brutality of what the other knights are doing. Just saying.
Pets/Sidekicks: Works alone
Expendability Doesn't matter if he's killed off, as long as he does something. Maybe he could die after retrieving the database and finally be able to restore his portfolin again. Whatever.

He dedicated his life to training in order to avenge his family. Coen usually doesn't like working with others, but will adjust if rescuing others, or undead, is involved.

Personality: Lank is an optimist when it comes to surviving things, and truly believes that his work contributes to the cause. He is very enigmatic if he gets talking about crystals, as they are his specialty. Lank is very generous, but sometimes this counts negatively against him as he sometimes gives too many crowns or materials away. (although he does have a lot of materials that he saves) Lank is fiercely loyal to his squad-mates, but is not thick enough to risk his life for someone who is already lost. The one thing Lank is, above all else, is cautious. when exploring the clockworks he takes his time to stop and consider what he is doing. Lank has an abnormally high intelligence, which is why he was recruited to be a Geo-knight and researcher. unfortunately, his wit sometimes comes off as arrogance, which is almost never the case.
Appearance/Armor: Lank is a bit on the tall side, and has a worrying lack of body weight. His mother gave him his name due to his build, and it seems that sometimes his arms are longer than usual. Lank sports some specially tailored magic robes to fit his physique, and a generic magic hood.
Lank has green "normal" eyes that seem to capture details about his surrounding environment. (we can upgrade his outfit later if necessary)
Weapons: Lank usually uses his trusty Brandish as a main weapon. He has a scabbard lashed onto his back over his cloak. (he is best with a sword) and has a blaster holstered at his hip for when he needs to retreat. Lank is extremely terrible with bombs, and barely passed his basic training with them, and therefore does not carry any.
History/Background: Before the Skylark crashed, Lank was in his room studying. when the alarm sounded, he grabbed all the gear and notebooks he could and rushed to an escape pod. When he arrived in Haven shortly after his less-than-graceful crash on the surface of Cradle, Lank decided that he and all the other knights were indeed stuck here for quite a while. So, Lank did what he does best- he studied up on the clockworks, using what information he could get his hands on. one subject he became fascinated with, other than how the clockworks managed to keep itself running, was the various crystals found within. Lank decided that he would join the newly dubbed "Geo-Knights" and try and help Spiral HQ with any knowledge he may gain.
Relations: Lank is seen as an egghead in many ways, but is very empathetic towards others. He tries his best to make friends.
'Twist' Degree: Lank has lots of room to grow throughout the story, but he is mostly a steady/static character.
Pets/Sidekicks: Lank is sometimes caught talking to crystals. People aren't sure what to make of it.
Expandability: Lank is a hardy character, having survived some of the more dangerous Geo-expeditions, but is not bulletproof in a manner of speaking. He is willing to make sacrifices in order to allow ones better than him live.

Name: Fodwing
Gender: Male
Personality: Usually open to new ideas and has a joking personality. However, when conducting missions, Fodwing always attempts to make the best decision possible, even when it risks the life of a team member. Fodwing also believes that each of his team members should and can fend for his/herself, and expects complete cooperation from them especially when in combat.
Appearance/Armor: A Deadly Virulisk Mask and a Dread Skelly Suit crafted into the Stealth Corps' distinctive black theme. Taller than the average Spiralian and has a dark green personal colour. Has a Barbarous Thorn Shield.
Weapons: Voltedge, Umbra Driver, Barbarous thorn blade.
History/Background: After completing basic training at a young age, the Stealth Corps singled him out for their own special training programme. After completing Stealth Corps training, Fodwing was assigned to advance his training in the field with senior Corpsmen. They taught Fodwing how to be quick with his decisions, and how sometimes sacrifices have to be made while furthering his skill in quick movement, stealth, swordsmanship and marksmanship.
Relations: Aside from being a member of the Stealth Corps, he has a history with Frostrex(Optional and you can decide what the history is).
'Twist' Degree: If you are going to do so, please make it minor.
Pets/Sidekicks: None.
Expendability: If you want to kill him, please make it so when the odds are overpoweringly against him. However, also note that members of the Stealth Corps are also trained to fight in darkness.
I request that Fodwing be the leader of a squad sent by the Stealth Corps.

Name: Cedein
Gender: Female
Personality: Quiet and secretive, a personality formed while training in the Stealth Corps. However, she opens up when talking with fellow Corpsmen and especially her field mentor, Fodwing(Change if Fodwing is not accepted). While she has a calm demenour, she is prone to bursts of rage.
Appearance/Armor: An Elemental Cloak and an Elemental hood crafted into the Stealth Corps black theme. Has the height of an average Spiralian and a golden personal colour. Swiftstrike Buckler.
Weapons: Nightblade, Tempered Calibur.
History/Background: Cedein was orphaned at a young age, and was taken under the wing of the Stealth Corps after demonstrating good reconnaissance traits. From there she was trained to be a Corpswoman, undergoing some of her basic training before moving onto the unique training of the Stealth Corps. After discovering her talent in swordsmanship, the Stealth corps presented her with a Brandish and Calibur when Cedein completed her training. She was then assigned to be mentored by Fodwing before attaining her 3 star gear, but even when she had already done so, was frequently sent on missions with him.
Relations: Close to Fodwing, which she views as a father figure(Change if Fodwing is not accepted).
'Twist' Degree: Keep it minimal.
Pets/Sidekicks: None.
Expendability: If you want, kill her in a weakened and vulnerable state please. However, also note that members of the Stealth Corps are also trained to fight in darkness.
Please place her in Fodwing's squad as swordsman, or if Fodwing is not accepted, swordsman in another squad.
