I do strongly agree with you Aemicus, but we should not be giving responses like in this thread: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/42781 Note the response to your reply showed that the Wiki did have a little ambiguity and at times people want to be certain of what the true answer to their question is.
All responses like that do is aggravate the OP or make them feel insulted/dumb even if they may not be dumb. Realize many people don't see/know there's a Wiki (this is the "New Recruits" section after all) or simply prefer to talk to people for their answer.
Just kindly steer them in the direction of the wiki and advise them to check there first before asking here so that we don't feel tempted to violently pounce on them and rip them to pieces :3

Lol,i know why no1 ever reply you question.:p coz what newbie want is a full answer not straight away wiki because some item doesnt mention in wiki or they are lazy and just need an answer.:p
