Is anyone having an issue opening SK on a mac for steam users? Every time I open SK, steam crashes. Even if I open steam again I still have to restart SK and it crashes again. I already sent a letter to tech support, but no response yet, also reinstalled steam. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be great thx :).

Yeah I've been having the

Yeah I've been having the same issues, after the initial crash it seems that every game just doesn't seem to want to load.

I'm not sure of a permanent fix but for now before opening steam I just use the shortcut to the game (allowing steam to run by itself automatically) and it seems to run fine every time.

Only issue I have with a mac

Only issue I have with a mac is that it doesn't recognize keystrokes for my 1~4 items while moving with the keyboard. I don't use the mouse to move or aim. :x

Me too, but this works:

There's a similar thread in the tech forum. This solution was suggested and seems to work fine for me:

"If you close Steam and open Spiral Knights from here: http://www.spiralknights.com/play.xhtml you should be able to login, it may not work the first time but I have tried it about five times and it's worked 3/5. What it does is opens them both at the same time I think, either way I have just logged in and done a run using this method."

(Hey Waur XD)

Umm I don't think I use steam to run SK. I downloaded the launcher and it works perfectly. :)

Yup

I've experienced this issue since the last update. Re-installing Steam Client from the Steam website seemed to help. Though the issue has occurred once since re-installing.

OK the issue just occurred again & seems to be related to launching SK multiple times within the same Steam session. Simply re-launching Steam Client does not work. A system re-boot definitely works, as does manually killing Java via Terminal to save yourself a reboot. "sudo kill -HUP (Java PID here)" worked for me, then re-launch Steam.
