I had a great idea

They already made this before with other games, but it would really work with SK: custom action figures/statues of YOUR knight, yes, you could pick your own armor set, plus 2 weapons (extra weapons would cost a little more) of your choice (from your inventory, of course), also, accesories would be included in the character, as for the statue, you can choose the pose and other extra freatures (LED lights for eyes, etc.). I WOULD PAY ALL MY MONEY FOR THIS.

Snipe Plushies

I'm mostly f2p, but I'd pay all the money for a snipe plushie. Throw in an exclusive ingame accessory to match, and some CE to go with it, and we'd go wild.

Just a few things.

I think t-shirts would have ample room for various designs; I'm sure you guys can come up with some great designs. Posters are also a great staple for themed merchandise. A few plushes wouldn't hurt either. I'd imagine they would mostly be monsters found in the Clockworks, such as Gremlins, Wolvers, Mewkats, and the like.

Quite a few people have suggested figures as well. Personally, I don't really see figures or action figures happening. At least not with the complexity of interchangable parts, as was suggested in earlier posts.

Though, no matter the selection, any SK merchandise would make me seriously consider making a purchase.

I might go for some crowns... It would be an interesting addition to my collection of foreign coins. (Only if they were actually made of metal though. Plastic just isn't the same... Can't get plastic nice and shiny)
Also, I'd find an excuse to wear a mask based on the wolver helmet.
Gun puppy lawn ornaments. Just saying.

I would buy a snipe plushie. $25 for an 12", or $15 for an 8". Others might even spring $50-100 for a snipe/jelly cube beanbag. A $20-25 gremlin mender hoodie is also a great idea, particularly because it is simple enough to make (plushies would require a fair bit more design work, while there are already companies that make custom clothing). Throw in a promotional accessory and it's GG. You guys should get a higher up at Sega to look into the merchandise options, there is probably a bit of money to be made (and your fans will love your for it, rather than whining and bitching!)

Zipper or not, but I'd like the words clockworks on it and the sk logo in the corner, just cause the kids in my high school are extremely judgmental

Ok i'm serious now.
I think a pushies of Wolver, Snipes, Gremlins could work. Also I kinda like Shidara's Radiant Sun Shard lamp idea, Maybe OOO can use Nitronome instead if Radiant Sun Shards is too radical.

People, people,

People, people, people...

Most basic merch of all time: the slogan t-shirt! Simple, SK related slogan and accompanied picture on t-shirts and hoodies.
Or even just shirts/hoodies with cool artwork, works too o.o (such as the promotional images for shadow lairs and such, or the wallpapers)

"Share the love!" with a love-puppy shooting a heart
"Violence is not the answer!" with a Mender
"Scared of loud noises, be gentle!" with Snarb
"Feel like a King" with JKizzle
"Only you can reach my Core!" for the romantic types!
"Blend in!" with a dusker coat wearing knight

et cetera, et cetera, you get the idea!

Realistic requests, indeed!

If there's a copy of the soundtrack already available, I've missed it, so I definitely want one of those.

Other than that, I mostly just want a t-shirt with the gremlin symbol on it. A gremlin hat would be fun, but I'm too old to be wearing that sort of thing (I was going to make one for my daughter, though XD).

I agree with the beanie snipes. I'm not a plushie person, but I think they'd sell well.

EDIT: I'm with Syko on the hoodies and messenger bags, too. (At 30, I can't really wear a plush hat, but I would wear an in-game-style gremlin-ear hood!)

Plushies seem to be what people want

I actually would like one of two things:
1) A t-shirt with a monster, or many monsters, from clockworks (including the Spiral Knights Logo)
2) A Wolver plushie with different colors for the different status ailments they cause (ice-whice, fire-black/red)
Along with the wolver plushie idea, a special Alpha Wolver could be made!

Things I would 100% spend

Things I would 100% spend money on:
Key chains of BTB, Grey Owlite Shield, pretty much any of the 5* swords
Card sleeves with the various status effect/monster type/gate/CE symbols on them (of these I would actually spend quite a bit of money on as I play lots of MTG and am constantly buying new sleeves)
Well made wolver-line coat as a hoodie

Thinks my friends would 100% spend money on (other than what I've listed and have read):
Buttons and stickers of literally ANYTHING about spiral knights (effect/monster type/gate/CE symbols, actual monsters, gear, buttons in the shape of shields/cr, ANYTHING)
non-disposable toothpick (and probably other swords) pens
Life-sized swords and shields
2-6 Inch paperweights of various T3 gun puppies, wolvers, and trojans (one friend expressed explicit demand for a love puppy paperweight)

Things I know that people would buy if offered (but havent heard anyone bemoan it's lack of existence):
Scissor Blades scissors
Stupid stuff that sits on people's desk, but Spiral Knight-y (speakers, mousepads, mice, keyboards, pencil holders, etc.)
Spiral Knight-y Laptop Covers and cases
Art books

I honestly think that using the effect/monster type/gate/CE symbols would be extremely popular. I for one would love a sleep and shock status effect and a few of the gates to be on stuff. They work well since they're small, easily identified, and round. They make great stickers, buttons, additions to mouse pads, mugs (someone actually posted one), clothes, pretty much anything that a symbol would fit on.

Follow Valve's example and sell merchandise that also includes codes for in-game items and you've got a great source of revenue right there.

Anywho I'll chime in on the plushy requests, my bed is buried in them and Spiral Knights' art style lends itself to cutesy plush toys really well. Honestly I've been on the verge of making my own given the lack of any officially licensed ones, but I'd happily pay money to get some Snipes and Snarbies in mah plush pile.

Sega and Three Rings work for the game. They can't make toys. Nobody buys toys as a adult or teen. Only kids buy toys. Also, we have no company that makes the toys. Sega works for the game and so does Three Rings

@Benightz

I have some earth-shattering news for you:

Sega has deals with toy makerz/plushie makers to create Sega merchandise. Not only that, no, not only kids buy toys. Adults do too. For themselves, and for their kids, because you know, kids very seldom have money. I guess you could say you are completely wrong on this count.

.. I'm 24 years old and just threw $20 on a plush toy from another small Steam game, I'm not really sure if you're serious or joking?? But there are a lot of adults who buy toys. They manufacture action figures with packaging that says "NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 14," stuff like D-Arts and whatnot. High quality toys that aren't meant to actually play with.

A poseable knight would be wonderful. I'm sure I posted in this thread ages ago. I wouldn't necessarily play with it but I'd set it up on my desk and pose him in all the cutest ways. And maybe get like six more so I can make a whole party.

An awful lot of people would still say the exact same thing of video games, regardless of the gradual change in public perception surrounding the medium, not to mention Spiral Knights is a game that has a very "kiddy" presentation about it to begin with. So with all due respect, take your judgmental nonsense elsewhere.

My wallet is suddenly unfathomably dreading my desires.

I definitely would purchase collectible figures and plushes. I also fancy the ideas for apparels and other accessories.

Also, clear marbles with internal capsule/vial/Mecha Knight Kit insignas.
