We are looking for mostly T3 capable players. We do a lot of t2 runs, but we like to focus more on t3 runs, such as vanaduke, recipe runs, and are looking to get together some shadow lair runs to fully equip the rest of our members.

We are however, also looking for those new players, who might be made of the right stuff, and we're willing to help train, and mold solid knights out of you. Due to this, our minimum gear requirement is 3* (including helm, armor, shield, and at least one weapon). We mostly want 4 and 5* gear knights other than that. If you are not 3* yet please read our wiki, we have several guides for gear and a guide on how to work up to 3* gear, so please read that section and I hope it helps ^_^

We're very talkative, very friendly, and stick together. We mostly met originally in Energy Knights Inc. and have since moved on to found our own guild just last month. We are about 80-90 members now ^_^

Mostly, we just want to find awesome people, and merge them into our growing group of friends. We want solid players, who we can trust to have our backs and be willing to delve into any depths, and are willing and ready to have tons of fun along the way.

We do have a few simple rules: We play to have fun. We're a very talkative friendly community. Being mean, being disrespectful of others, or other unsportsmanlike behavior (this includes Lockdown) will not be tolerated. If you can't be an exemplar member of the community, both within and outside of our guild, then you really shouldn't be playing this game. We truly pride how awesome our members are, and we like to think we're the friendliest players you'll encounter both in haven, the clockworks, and the coliseum.

We want everyone to look up to us as examples of how to be good fellow Knights in this game. We'd like you to be part of that with us.

3) What do you like about this game? I like that it is a team game where you can play others and work together to reach an objective.

This is my application that I wrote and you should all be proud.

1) How often do you play? (We like players to be on a few times a week, and almost every day if possible)

Relatively often. I'm typically on at least once a day, mainly to do a daily alchemy craft of some profitable items. That only takes about 2 minutes. As far as actively going into the clockworks, I kind of settled down not doing anything for a while and sticking to the daily routine of craft, set up an auction, and log out. Recently with the mission update, I got heavily back into the game. Hit rank 7 in 2 days. Now I've been playing daily since. At least one clockwork dive a session.
2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? (Relatively speaking)

I like to think so, though weaknesses are shown to arise every now and then. I'm not too savvy on acronyms, but if there's anything I'm uncertain of I'm on the wiki maybe every few days or so. I'm more strong in the strategy department. I'm currently in 4star gear, but have proven highly successful in Firestorm Citadel, which is mainly composed of mazes and enemies I'm able to dodge when skill is applied. I tend to give directions to a group, namely that YOU KILL THE HEALER FIRST. Nobody seems to understand that.

3) What do you like about this game?

Most of it! The free to play allows me to bring friends along, though I dropped $20 into it when I realized how much I loved the game. I've spent $50 on games that I'm never going to pick up again, I might as well throw something into a game I play so often. The atmosphere is beautiful, the game's very reminiscent to me in the appeal that Diablo 2's combat style was. Dodges are performed, not some statistical roll. Projectiles are live entities instead of a statistical calculation on accuracy. It makes me feel skilled when I can dodge an attack or occupy an enemy with hits before it can place one.

4) Are you a talkative social person? (who can use English without net-speak?)

Yes. OBSERVE MY GRAMMAR AND SYNTAX. I tend to use more smilies, but this is a "sewious business" guild application. I tend to multitask and like to keep talking to people at all times. ...Well, maybe not as much in combat. Maybe a little. If I'm safe enough to type something. >~> I only tend to get hostile when adamant hostility is shown. Such as a party member insulting the rest of the party while they are dead. Exercises in hypocrisy and all that are worth bringing attention to.

5) What is your usual gear?

Blade - I prefer taking a moderate damage with high speed, so the constant knockback occupies the enemy too much to land a strike. This is why I've currently got a 4* Hunting Blade on its way to being a 5* Wild Hunting Blade. I intend to get a damage trinket...or two...later on, I didn't want to bother activating my trinket slots until I hit 5* gear.
Gun - I went for something balanced. Currently I've got a 4* Master Blaster on its way to 5* Valiance. It's proven useful.
Bomb - Nothing yet! Again, I didn't want to bother opening my other slots until 5*, too expensive otherwise.
Helm and Armor - Currently 4* Rock Jelly gear. As I tend to class my character with DPS and dodging blows, stun/shock was really a damper on my tactic, and tended to be my downfall for most levels, so it seemed the most useful at the time.
Shield - Currently a 4* Heavy Plate Shield, following the stun/shock routine, though it doesn't hold anything in regard for shock. After doing a bit of polling and research, I'll determine whether or not a 5* Ironmight Plate Shield is a good idea, or if Volcanic Plate Shield is a nice alternative for my fireproof gear.

5) Previous guilds?

None! I didn't accept random invites around Haven, and now that I'm active and on T3, I decided now's the time to pick up a nice T3 Guild so I wouldn't have to do as much public parties and have a large supply of individuals to join in on a T3 expedition, and yes, eventually shadow gates.

7) Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

I use a decent amount of vulgarity (When I believe necessary... Expletive shouts when the party drops for the tenth time, at the most.) , play through steam, read tons of webcomics (I live near a large quantity of them in Western Mass, and am mainly interested in Homestuck), do a decent amount of roleplay, yadda yadda. This is the only MMO I focus on, if you can call it that.

Question answer 2, 3, 6, and 7. You gave me no real answers.

I don't ask these questions for the sake of asking. I'm asking them because it's information I would like to actually have, and it will be used both for determining if you'll fit within our guild, where you are in your growth as a player in spiral knights, and what we may potentially be able to help you with.

In short, I ask those because they need actual answering. Which you did not give.

Now. There are several very highly detailed applications above. I'm not asking you to be as detailed as Bhephel or Rak, but I am asking you to at least give me something more than you currently have.

Once you do that, feel free to also send me a friend request in-game. I'll accept it and send you an invite once I get a real application from you :P

I know I'm probably coming off as one of those stingy elitist jerk-faces who are snobby and insufferable, that I loathe. I don't mean to be, and once you join our guild I hope you'll see how friendly we all are (That's our number one thing afterall :P). Still, I do have to stand firm on all of this resolutely.

2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? I like to think I'm decent. At this point, I feel as if I lack people to play with. Solo t2 and t3 is lame, haha.
3) What do you like about this game? All of it. The entire diversity of the dungeons and gear astounds me and motivates my progression.
4) Are you a talkative social person? I am! Very outgoing and friendly.
5) What is your usual gear? 4* cobalt and ash tail armors. I have a winmillion and avenger. Not to hot on the gun scene. Nitrome in the works at the moment. Plans to have snarbolax armor soon along with divine avenger and some form or fashion of bomber gear.

Almost everyday, for a few hours at a time. Most likely on at night, occasionally afternoons. I may skip a day or two, but i'm on quite frequently.

Yes, i've had little to no trouble with the monsters of the game. Except Greavers.... I hate them so much... But i've solo/duo'd all the content of the game up to about Shadow Jelly Queen. If I had a weakness, i'd say it was not finishing my sword combo on a monster near an explosive box. But punching bombs is too much fun to ever make me learn otherwise...

3) What do you like about this game?
The art style and the feel of the game. I've played Spiral since Snarby was released back in June 2011. It's been a fun ride.

4) Are you a talkative social person? (who can use English without net-speak?)
Yup, i'm pretty social. That's why i'm looking for a guild now! I can't stand doing everything alone anymore. And yes, English is not a chore to me.

5) What is your usual gear?
Usual is full Heavenly Iron, Combuster/FoV, Barbarous Thorn Shield, Sentenza, Gran Faust. Loads of trinkets. Also have full sets of Snarb, Vog, and Fallen. Numerous other weapons: Sudaruska and Wild Hunting Blade for giggles, Shivermist, DBB...Uhh, I have a lot of junk. I'm tired of listing it all, heh.

6) Previous guilds?
None, unless you can count a no-name guild strung together with a legendary sum of two people in it. It was done so people would stop spam-inviting us when we set foot in town.

7) Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself? Been in and out of a bunch of other MMO's. This one just stuck with me the best. I'm 19, and love to draw/read comics when I discover them. Working on my own at the moment. Obsessed over several Nintendo franchises.

2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? im a medium player i am a soso swordy and gunner im a pretty good bomber i favor status bombs and vortex dont have many yet but i am working on a good set of them

1) How often do you play? I play as often as energy or cash for elevator passes opens up.
2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? I'd like to think im decent but my weakness is avoiding damage, as im used to games with healers. my strength is i have no problem running arcade runs all day to grind cashola to upgrade my gear.
3) What do you like about this game? its dungeon crawling hack and slash it reminds me of dark cloud 2 mashed with gauntlet
4) Are you a talkative social person? I am very social, to the point of marginally annoying.

Here's mine:

1. How often do you play?

I play almost every day, usually a few JK runs and 1-2 Arcade dives a day (Maybe one in the morning and another in the evening so my ME can recharge), or maybe a Roarmulus Twins run if there are people willing to help.

2. Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Hmm. There have been a few times where I've dived into a group of monsters and taken some hits, but most of the time I use my Ascended Calibur's charge as a crowd control tool (It pushes back really far) and place bombs at good locations in arenas.

3. What do you like about this game?

Other than the abominably high CE prices, I like all of the game. I really like the fact that you share crowns and heat with your party-
Because of that, you don't have the common problem in other games where players fight over who gets the loot.

4. Are you a talkative/social person?

YES. I am very good at typing, so I might talk even while fighting an enemy. ("Sht, this guy is strong!") I am generally very social.

5. What is your usual set?

I am in between 3* and 4* gear as of now. When in a run where no one else has a bomb, I will most often use my Fiery Atomizer, although I am working on upgrading the heat level of my Antigua I will get back to using bombs ASAP.

My sword is the Ascended Calibur (I worked hard on getting it, and got my Calibur to 4* before I even upgraded my armor to 3*), and I use the Brute Jelly armor with a Great Defender- I plan on getting a Mighty Defender and Rock Jelly armor for T3.

6. Have you been in any previous guilds?

I have been in 2 guilds, but both had few members and didn't organize events or participate actively with members. As a result, I came here to look for a better guild that would be more involved with it's members and would have more members.

7. Is there anything you would like to say about yourself?

Hmm... Avid gamer, plays both on weekdays and weekends, started playing Spiral Knights around late Janurary or something... That's about it. Oh, and I also have a powerful computer, so you don't need to worry about be lagging when fighting the Twins.

8. What is your preferred mode of reference?

He/Him/That Guy/MonsterCWP

WARNING: I will not be active for about a week, for I am typing this while on a vacation in Utah. However, the second I get back I will check in on Spiral Knights and will catch up with anything that I have missed.

EDIT: Is anyone posting on this thread anymore? Me and the guy above me are the only recent people.

1) How often do you play? (We like players to be on a few times a week, and almost every day if possible);
I try to get on during the week (and do occasionally) but because of college I sometimes cannot, although I usually spend most of my weekend on SK :)

2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? (Relatively speaking);
I do see myself as a good player, I try to work with other people as a team and can get along with almost anyone, so that helps, I would probably say my main weakness would be Devilites, I just seem to run into their projectiles alot... I have no explanation as to why I am so dumb.

3) What do you like about this game?;
Personally I like the fact that it restricts my play time (especially when playing during the week), this is because I like the games so frickin' much I'd probably ignore everything else and just play SK xD

4) Are you a talkative social person? (who can use English without net-speak?);
Oh, most definatley I love to sit and chat with people, along with doing runs with em' too mind you.

5) What is your usual gear?;
I have 2 sets I especially like at the moment these consist of;
Set 1:

Vog Cub Helm.
Ash Tail Coat (I have the VCC recipe :) )
Dark Thorn Shield (Still looking for the BTS recipe)
Faust (Still looking for GF recipe)
Secondary weapon depends on the run I'm doing.

Set 2:
Miracle Hood (Still look for DV recipe)
Miracle Cloak (Still looking for DM recipe)
Wise Owlite Shield (I have the WOS recipe :) )
Boltbrand (Still doing LD so I can get VE recipe)
Again my secondary weapon depends on the run.

I will also be crafting different weapons and armour to tackle shadow damage, and a bombing set ^^

6) Previous guilds?;
I have been in 3 guilds throughout my time playing SK, these are;

Phantoms End (I left the game because I had my GCSE finals)
Benevolent Knights (When I played I hardly ever saw anyone online)
In The Jelly (I didn't feel like I fitted in, although they were nice)

7) Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?;
I am into corny romance books/anime, just saying.
My name is James, although you can call me Jamesington, Weegee, Weege etc.
I am English ^^
I like to talk a lot :)
My favourite Pokemon is Grovyle, because he is amazing :D

8) Preferred mode of reference? (Aka, do you want to be referred to as he or she? Default if unanswered will probably be he);

It looks like all of you meet our minimum gear requirements! ^_^

Tinytankzz I like how it sounds like you are willing to help others, however it might benefit us a little bit more to know how active you are since your response here is a tad vague, unless your login times vary from day to day. Also I am wondering why you never did anything with your previous guild, was it just too small, or too inactive? You may send responses to myself or Jace-Jarak for answers to these questions if you prefer, if it seems you make a good fit, we will recruit you! :D

As for Monstercwp, I really like how much detail you put into this App! However I am a tad concerned about you being inactive for so long after possible recruitment. If I can I'd like to ask you in game about this, or maybe if you could mail myself or Jace-Jarak in game a range of dates for your inactive period we would appreciate it. If being gone for long periods of time such as this isn't a normal occurrence, I will be happy to add you to our ranks! :D

Wow Weegeeftws, really like how much time you took into your App as well! It looks like you are a well geared and experienced player based on what you have so far, and I am glad you seem to enjoy the game! As for fitting in here, I hope that isn't a problem, we try to make all of our members feel welcome, so we will make you feel welcome too ^_^, Sent you an invite, looking forward to meeting you :D

About the vacations

The vacations are rare. My parents do like to take vacations, so I will sometimes be gone in school breaks such as Spring Break (the current case), Winter Break, and Summer Break. I only take vacations SOME breaks though.

Any time it's not a school break, I will be on very often- this is one of the rarer cases where I'm not available. I'll be back home and at my computer on April Fool's Day (April 1).

If you do accept my application, I suggest that you wait on sending a guild invite until I'm back on Spiral Knights and send you an in-game letter. That way, I won't be inactive for too long.

Also, while I was waiting for a reply I read through the guild wiki page and the forums. The Raid Haven 1 thing that happened sounded pretty cool.

1 i play like 4-5 days a week.
2 im okay though turrents and fiends destroy me [ and also Trojans got destroyed when cornered] bascally ranged attacks!
3 I play because the music is good [ nice instrumental music] and the items look cool. Also monsters look pro like trojans

Application for Rogue Knights

1) How often do you play? (We like players to be on a few times a week, and almost every day if possible) I usually go on every two days or so.
2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? (Relatively speaking) I got decent skills. I can go against slimes, beasts, and gremlins pretty easily. Fiends and Undead I am still sorta working on how to deal with them most efficently.
3) What do you like about this game? I like the fighting and challenges of this game. I also like how awesome gear looks in this game.
4) Are you a talkative social person? (who can use English without net-speak?) Yes.
5) What is your usual gear? ATM i have ashe tail helmet, skolver coat, wise owillite shield, acended calibur, and a silversix
6) Previous guilds? Monster X Hunter (I think thats how you spell it, been a long time since I was in that guild) and The Cupcake Clan.
7) Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself? I love going on JK and FSC runs.

Hi! My App =D

Hello! I'm a T3 guy who likes to play BN and LD, and I enjoy chatting and guild coliseum matches.

1) How often do you play? (We like players to be on a few times a week, and almost every day if possible)
Usually on every day, unless I'm piled with homework.

2) Are you a good player? What are your strengths and weaknesses? (Relatively speaking)
I'm a decent player. My strengths are waving gigantic swords in a desperate attempt to kill something. My weaknesses are those pesky little purple guys that throw office equipment at you.

3) What do you like about this game?
The robots make funny sounds when you pummel them with an avenger. The game itself is fun, the community is nice, and BN/LD are addicting.

4) Are you a talkative social person? (who can use English without net-speak?)
I'm fairly social, and me speaks grammar good.

5) What is your usual gear?
Well, I currently have a Vog cap, DTS, and Ash Tail Coat.
For weapons, I cycle swords among a DTB, Avenger, and Faust. I also occasionally gun (Gigawatt Pulsar if I'm soloing or Silversix if I'm with a group), and just for fun I sometimes use a fiery atomizer. (Also I have all the cash and energy to upgrade any one thing to 5*, I'm just not sure which to upgrade......). For more fun occasionally I bring a Proto Bomb.

6) Previous guilds?
Shifting Sands and Shadow Mercenaries, but both were largely inactive.

7) Anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?
I'm like a Magikarp. I'm kinda useless most of the time, and fun to poke, but when I get mad, I rage and become something halfway useful (A Gyrados!).
I'm a math nerd, I enjoy video games and table tennis, and I make bad jokes all the time.

"He" would be fine, although my official title is "Your Holy Graciousness".

Also, I'm going to be out of town tomorrow (The 29th) evening. I'll try to get online at least a little while on vacation, but I can't promise anything. Please let me know if this will be a problem, I can always reapply after I come back (I'll be back on Sunday).
