Before reading: These are list of demands I have seen in the forms lately and I'm trying to order them by importance (sorry if my version of the priority). My idea for this is that administration can see what we deem to be most important and make change according to our needs. I would also like to point out the spiral knight is also a business so any ideas that we as consumer come up with have to benefits both sides.

List of demands:

1) There somewhat of a tie for first (read below or read Severage's thread on guild halls http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/40011)

A) Guild Hall improvements: At the moment I don’t see many positive sides in having a guild rather as seeing it as an alternative friends list (for
those who managed to get 250 friends) or because you can form team matches in lockdown. Guilds need the following:

a) First off guild need to have their maximum capacity increase because it’s kind of sad that you can have 250 friends and only 100 knights in a guild. So solution for this such as

• Allowing guilds to pay some ce to be able to upgrade their guilds to be larger (a solution that has been proposed many times in other threads)

b) Guild improvements such as buyable upgrades have constantly been asked in previous threads some which include:

• Bulletin boards so that member can communicate notices to one another when offline.

• Guild bank so guild can have its own funds (can be used as the primary wallet to buy other upgrades) and should come with the guild. The bank should also be managed by guild masters.

• Changes in guild themes (such as different color scheme, variation to background (seasonal themes, etc.

• Guild personal training hall (I think this should be customizable in a sense that you can chose what your training hall has) which might be one of the most expensive up grades.

• Furniture: basically some cosmetics for a guild like couches, television screens, guild emblems/flags etc.

• Some guild exclusive games that guild member can play against each other (idk spiral knights themed chess?, whack a jelly?)

• Guild achievements and leader board: we need something to make the game more competitive.

• Visiting system: even though I never so a point in it the visiting system idea has come up a few times. Basically you should be able to invite non guild member to your guild.
If you noticed I didn’t write prices on the upgrade. I didn’t do so because I think that should be left up to admins. I do think admins does over price things in some cases (mainly keys and heat amps) but we have a nature of pricing thing below their worth.

B) The current energy crisis: At the moment most of us have noticed that the prices of ce have sky rocketed to an holy amount in which it sometimes manage to reach over 7000 crowns at some times. This is usually our fault in which we tend to put a higher price on ce just because we want ce asap. However there are some thing a believe admin can do. Note that you might (most likely) disagree with me on my means of solving this especially if you’re F2P.

a) The only rational solution I can come up with that will drop ce prices and give admin money is to ad in game advertisement for F2P player (which I assume are the majority of players, please correct me if I’m wrong). Yes I’m asking F2P players such as myself to man up (or woman up, not to be sexist) and accept the fact the fact we need to pay or part to keep ce prices low. How will this help? Basically admin ads some in game ads (such as an ad that appears on top of AH screen when we buy stuff, basically the same as website ads that appear n the sides and maybe switch the loading screen picture with a non-video ad). With the extra source of money three rings can sell their own ce (maybe place 10,000 ce every day (or few days) at around 5000cr per 100 units) so that the price will slowly start to stabilize at 5000 cr and maybe even lower down the prices on keys. (if you need me to explain the logic in this please ask). Now P2P should get a few more advantages depending on how much ce the bought in the last 30 days which can divide into membership categories.

• Bronze membership: Anyone who buys the 1600 pack of ce gets this membership. When you buy this much ce will remove ads from your account for 30 days.

• Silver membership: Anyone who buys the 3500 ce pack gets this membership. This membership includes the 30 day ad bypass and includes one of the following 30 day discount privileges (20% off via crown purchases [Auction house excluded], 20% off boost’s purchases, and 20% off token tradables).

• Gold membership: Anyone who gets the starter pack gets this membership. This membership includes the 60 day ad bypass and gets two of the following 30 day discount privileges (20% off via crown purchases [Auction house excluded], 20% off boost’s purchases, and 20% off token tradables).

• Platinum membership: Anyone who gets the battle pack gets this membership. This membership includes the 60 day ad bypass and gets three of the following 30 day discount privileges (20% off via crown purchases [Auction house excluded], 20% off boost’s purchases, and 20% off token tradables).
• Crystal membership: Anyone who gets the 20000 ce pack or anything at a higher value gets this membership. This membership includes the 1 year ad bypass and gets three of the following 60 day discount privileges (20% off via crown purchases [Auction house excluded], 20% off boost’s purchases, and 20% off token tradables).

3) New content: To keep the game interesting we need new content like the new mission system that’s coming out and here of list of things the game can add.

A) New weapons/ weapon buffs: let start with new weapons

a) Spears: I don’t remember who was the first to suggest spears, but in my perspective they should be a three hit combo (two slashes and a lunge) that has very long reach (similar to the reach of trokia’s). They should deal a little less damage than the calibur series and should have split damage (some versions at least) between elemental and piercing. I have no idea for the charge attack though so recommend one. (If anyone can draw a picture of how they should look please post one) (Also setbacks for the weapon should be made so that it avoids being over powered)

b) Lances: Similar to the weapon that were used in medieval times it should have very long reach and consist of one 360 slash and one thrust with the same speed of a troika. The charge attack should be a straight dash forward with the lance dealing multiple weak blows to an enemy. The dash should last for about 3 to 5 seconds. The weapon should deal normal and a special damage type.

• Pros: this weapons charge make knight dash at enemies almost as fast as the striker’s dash.

• Cons: The weapons charge is uninterpretable, hard to steer and may cause knight to stay charging at wall for few seconds and running through many floor hazards.

c) Missile launchers: First time I heard about this was from Eviloddish (recently). They should be similar to that of the rocket puppy and have a two shot magazine. The weapon charge attack should be reloading though (yes it must be reloaded). The blast radius should be no bigger than a three star bomb. It should come in to versions; heat seeking and normal straight going missiles. (Weapon should deal elemental)

• Pros: very long, each missile does damage twice (impact, and explosion)

• Cons: has no charge attack, play cannot move when firing, weapon must be reloaded, can damage any one (knight included, just like the rocket puppy), heat seeker malfunction and self destruct (at the same moment they’re fire) in blast furnaces and Firestorm Cathedral, Heat seeker also seek heat so they don’t follow ice based enemies.

d) Land mines: This weapon explodes when stepped on. Knights can lay down up to three land mines each. Land mine should small radius (for example the 5 star version’s explosion should be no bigger than that of a proto bomb) but have the highest damage among all bombs. Should have slight chance of causing status ailments and deal elemental.

• Pros: can be used to prep area before stepping on party buttons.

• Cons: blast radius is small

e) Spreading bombs: similar to the explosion of the supper blast cube, explodes once and releases mini bombs which explode again. Should deal normal damage.

• Pros: lots of explosions

• Cons: players cannot control where the mini bombs explode.

f) Scythes: I have no idea if they have been brought up in the forms before but I think they should be added. They should have a two hit combo, one side slash and one forward slash. They should deal split damage (shadow and piercing). Maybe they should deal a new status ailment that cause instant death (doesn’t work on the undead or constructs and has about a ten percent chance of happening).

g) Blaze burner (from the Dagguner): basically a fire pulsar. To avoid the argument from previous thread(s) about this gun replacing the alchemer I state a weapon buff for it bellow.

h) Bomber shield: This is the idea I think would be best for a bomber shield: Normal/elemental defense, damage boost on bombs median, movement speed increase low, and resistance to fire. Set back it should have (to not make it overpowered) sword and gun speed decrease low, charge time increase on swords and guns low.

B) Weapon buffs:

a) cutter’s charge attack: I think this is a given it is usually not worth using. I think that in most cases the weapon need to have a charge attack that isn’t the same as the basic combo except that your screwed for the next 2-3 seconds.

b) Increase the range on guns: Guns may have further range than swords but it isn’t really that far. So increasing the range of a gun to the same range of a vial (or at least do this to the gun that require you to stand still).

c) Give the alchemer series a third bullet and increase it’s range.

4) New/old enemies and enemy buffs: For stronger weapons you need stronger enemies.

A) Enemies:

a) I think we all can agree that the beast family is too small and I see that they have wolvers and chromalisks so maybe they should add some
kind of insects like wasps or spiders/scorpions (I know that they arachnids and not insects).

b) Bring back the tortodrone because we need some sort of a challenge.

c) In graveyard I started to think it would be cool if slag guards (a dust version of it) came out of the coffins.

d) Add an exceptional strong enemy to every family (by that I mean how the fiends have the Trojan and the jellies have the Lichen). For example a scorpion for beast.

e) Add a new type of gun puppy that shoots a never ending stream of blitz needle like bullets. (Yes it might seem a little over power but it has major weak points).

• Weaknesses: The bullets maybe fast but there really weak, all the bullets are fired in a straight row (and considering that they turn rather slowly make the bullet easier to dodge), and has less health than most puppies.

B) Buffs:

a) Make the ultra blast cube have an ultra blast when is dies (maybe the same radius of a 5 star bomb).

b)That’s all I could think of at the moment.

Note that I did not mention topic such as pets or dual wield because there both controversial in a game sense

I hope that there will be at least one person who actually reads this.

i agree with you for the most part.. but you disnt talk about armor.. like how bombers and gunners need special shields, ad that the wolver line needs be debuffed....

the only part i dont quite like is the instant kill of the scythes... but i love scythes

i like the strong monsters idea :3 i would love to see an uber puppy, a super stomper mech.. a really fat gremlin who keeps building little constructs to help him... a giant jawtrap beast monster... or a Zombie lord/necromancer

This just some what I have read before in other threads. I haven't thought about armor much because the have added some in comparison to weapons.

However now that you mention it new shields haven't been made. Although i was thinking about putting a shield buff in it because i also ways thought that its kinda off odd that giant shield such as the plate shield cant block frontal attack while there broken.

As for the scythe chance for instant death is rather low and would only appear on one type of scythe that could be an item drop.

Oh thanks for agreeing with the idea of every monster family having on super buff enemy.

Oh may ask what you thought of my solution for the energy crisis? I thought some people would respond negatively to that.

Well...

You got to put into consideration that If spiral knight had more money coming in they could possible add more staff which in turn may create more in game content faster than usual.

And if you have a better idea that can solve the energy crisis for F2P players then please say it and ill include in the list. (Note solutions do not include have to benefit both three ring and us to make them more likely to being implemented in the game.

spiral knights DEFININTLY needs more weapons, armour,shields, enemies, tiers,cheaper CE (even if it means ads) and guild improvements

i got an idea for a new weapon, a fire pulsar/polaris it could be called temperate pulsar 3*, blaze burner 5*. it could be black and red

@ everyone who commented Ztype and after.

@ztype by ads I mean some sort of banner ad that appears on the top and bottom part of the screen when talking to a merchant or at the AH, and ads should only appear when you're not in combat (for example when you are standing at the elevator wait or at a party button).

@Dagunner I like the idea of you gun, however there were some argument s against it, that it would abolish the use of alchemers. Then again in this thread I mention that some guns should be made longer ranged so three ring could always buff up alchemers by giving them the third shot and increasing its range. (I'll add this to the thread later in an update and add your gun to later in the afternoon/evening)

@Atrumvindex First thing and I'd like to say is that waiting for the ce prices to go down is a double edged sword. The prices could go down or the could increase while you wait. If you notice the trend the prices of ce have been steadily rising (like the stock market and I feel like graphing it). Now becoming a P2P player is not an option all of us can take and is limited to those who have means of paying online. If you have another solution I'd be pleased to offer it as a solution to the ce crisis.

Are the ads for trading cr/ce or for other games? Also why not, for a crystal membership, have a choice of two rare accessories from a list? Also for a Gold, one choice.

I update the thread a bit/ @ ztype

I add thing to the thread which are the following:

Muuuch better. My eyes aren't straining to pick out text now. Trust me, it's better for it to look longer, and not actually be as long, rather than to be condensed in a small area and unreadable.

As far as Guilds, I think it'd be easier if you just link to my thread. Not that I want to be attention-grabby, but I don't see the point really in making a few extra hundred words to say something that's already on the front page.

@Advertisements: I don't really agree with this...I prefer Ad-free games. But, hypothetically, if this did exist, the "Membership" (bronze, silver, etc.) would have to be retrospective to the update. Might have a lil bit of raging otherwise.

PS: Making crowns worth less than they are (20% cheaper), reducing the overall crown sink, will make CE prices RISE.

@Spears: I really don't have much to say here. It's a so-so idea that's been tossed around, I have nothing to add to it.

@Gun Puppy Gun: I don't much care for this idea, but the worst part is the Heat-Seeking. Nobody would use it. If they attract to Knights as well, I don't know why you wouldn't get the Normal gun. Furthermore, I hate Auto-Target and Heat-seeking weapons, they always target the wrong enemy.

@Land Mines: AKA Gremlin bombs.

@Scythes: Maybe, but those are usually two-handed, and not having a shield in SK really isn't going to happen anytime soon. Also: Instant Death 10% is overpowered. Not only would you OHKO bosses ALL the time, it'd be the new Lockdown craze weapon (Not that most weapons don't kill you in one hit anyway). Just make it Curse.

@Bomber Shield: Maybe, but the Damage boost should not be Medium. You basically put all the bonuses of full Mercurial Demo into one bomb and gave it some negatives. I think it should have less negatives, and less buffs as well (Perhaps changing as it upgrades).

@Cutter's charge attack: Definitely. It needs it.

@Gun Range: I don't think they need the range of a vial, but I have found that AP/Sent's range cuts off many times. Not sure why, sometimes the bullets just don't go their maximum range.

@Alchemers: I disagree with the buff on the Alchemers. They have a mixture of the heavy-hitting from a Callahan, and the speed of any other gun. I don't think they need to be buffed.

@Tortodrone: Yesh, I want him back. :3

@Graveyard: Slag walkers wouldn't make much sense...unless the ground beneath your feet is consumed in fire and not dirt. I think GYs were intended to be just plain old Shadow damage.

@Strong enemy in each family: I think really most of them do...Alpha Wolvers used to be much tougher than they are now, so Beast could use a stronger enemy. I think every enemy in the Construct family has had multiple nerfs, except Lumbers. Lumbers are basically Construct Trojans but slower and easier to hit. But...you shouldn't have to worry about Constructs...trust me. Gremlins have the Tier 3 gremlins which are reasonably hard to defeat; much harder than any other gremlin. If the Crimson Order and Tinkinzar come out, you won't have to worry about Gremlins either. Undeads have Phantoms, which revive themselves, drop no rewards, and levitate through the air. Even though they've been nerfed a bit, they're a harder enemy to defeat in the Undead family. Lastly, I hope they don't add an exceptionally hard enemy for the Swarm...*shudders*

@Needle Puppies: Not a bad idea.

@Ultra Blast Cube: I agree it needs a bigger blast, but it depends on the 5* bomb we're talking about here...most 5* bombs' radius is too large for a Blast Cube I think. Maybe the range of Nitronome or Vortex bombs, but definitely not the range of a 5* Status bomb.

God dangit. I was proud of you a sentance ago. No advretisement. At least not in the game. I'd rage if there were ingame ads. I GUESS at the bottom of the fourm page MIGHT not hurt, and the only possible adspace they'd have in-game that wouldn't make people mad would be the front page. The problem there is that's where they advretise for CE promos. Plus, the only ad's they would get would probabaly be ads for other games. This would derail people who like to grind this game.

Spears would be basicaly swords. I do like the idea of a rush charge attack, simmilar to trojans, but it would have to stop on command so that you don't pass your target and fall into a pit of spikes and fire.

I'm all for bringing back the tortodome. He can't be alone though, he should be one of many mini-bosses. Also, didn't the original tortodome have shadow lair eyes on his shell when enraged? HMM UNKNOWN PASSAGE MINI BOSS?

I like the ultra blast buff idea. Five-star radius is a biiit big though. How about a trojan attack-buff sized radius? Plus, you could make the bombs they drop sticky. That would be awesome.

I kinda like the idea of a fire polaris, but the name is just lame. Just throwing that out there, I'd tell you a good one if I could.

@Orangeo Sorry for disappointing you a sentence later but it was all I COULD think about so If there are any other solution out there (that make sense and sound possible) I would love to include it. Or if you have more good idea of where ads should go please state those too.
Maybe the easiest thing to do is vote on the issue whether they want ads to lower the ce prices.

@ Neodasus Um that mean you like the idea or not like it.... or were you thinking of the movie 300?

@ Severage Im adding the link to your thread (makes sense because your thread goes far more in depth than mine).

As far as ads go I expected to cause a lot of raging but some time we have to ask our selves if want cheaper ce some sacrifices must be made.

For the rocket launcher idea I remove the part where it could target players.

When I said slag guard in graveyards I meant a new dust version slag walker

For the scythes I think that like in most other games boss would be immune to death.

For the bomber shield the idea is that it should be good for bombers but terrible for everything else and the one I mentioned would be the level 5 star version at level 10

By "aka gremlin bombs" what did you mean (please clarify)? the idea is that the don't blow up until stepped on.

For monster buffs got a point that gremlin are challenging at time, beast family is to small and needs more variety, I don't acknowledge the phantom as a strong enemy because it dies quicker than what it used to and take longer to revive now and can only be seen in graveyards.

Ultra blast cube? As long as it live up to its name I'll be happy.

@Dust Walkers: Ooh you should edit the OP on that. Having heavy-duty Zombie Guards would be nice.

@Scythes: Okay immune-to-death bosses would work just fine, but I still think 10% chance of instant death would be far too powerful for PvP. Gran Faust probably has about that same chance, but you have to finish the combo to have any chance of cursing at all; and instant death is more powerful than Curse (Even though Curse is basically instant death to anyone who's not paying attention).

So then, perhaps you could just make it so that it must finish the combo to have any chance of death at all. Still not too fond of the idea, but at least that puts it on the same level of power as Gran Faust.

@Bomber Shield: Yes, but it's *too* good for Bombers. Mercurial Demo is 5*, and at level 10 it has half those bonuses, and that's if you're wearing the full set. If Mercurial Demo were made with Medium DMG: Bombs and more CTR with negatives to Guns/Swords, it'd only help bombers. It wouldn't hurt anyone, because nobody uses Mercurial Demo while using Sword/Guns (Unless it's a costume or they sometimes switch to Polaris).

In other words, it'd just be a buff. Negatives to other classes doesn't balance it out much.

@Gremlin bombs: I say that because gremlins throw similar landmines. They have a timer like normal bombs despite being landmines, but the idea would be very much alike, since you can "throw" them. Gremlin bombs that detonate upon being touched is the main idea is all I was saying. I don't particularly approve/disapprove the idea.

@Monster buffs: Yes, beast do need more variety, and now that Alpha Wolver is easy to kill, desperately need a hard enemy (The only one is Rabid Snarbolax..lol).

Gremlins aren't of any concern; when King Tinkinzar/Crimson Order comes out (When and if) then that'll be taken care of.

You're quite correct on your point on the Phantoms; they are easier to kill now, and have a longer respawn time. Their health is roughly only that of a regular Zombie of the same area. Makes them hardly any more difficult. So yes, Undeads need a big enemy.

New idea

I don't no if any one proposed this as an idea for a fiend boss but I think a centaur would fit perfectly (because of Trojans). It should have a crossbow in one had and a lances on the other. Post some feed back if you agree or disagree. (so I know whether to add it to the thread)

Oh Severage I think you said that a scythe would require two hand but I doubt it since are knights can pick up a trokia which is freaken huge. (sorry for got to mention that earlier.)

Jussayin'. It's not that it's overwhelmingly large (Which it is, but Troikas are too), but I mean...you try fighting with a scythe, no matter what size/weight, and fight effectively. Totally oddball.
