Almirian Destiny- Prologue
"I could have saved him, I wasn't fast enough...."

Prologue Part I

Ice was part of an elite group of Knights called “Duos” as you can guess from the name

two people were involved on a mission at the same time. Ice was a mere newbie at the time,

but was accepted into the group because of his potential. At the time of their acceptance Ice

had the Spiral Sallet, Spiral Cullet, Proto Sword, and the Frost Gun.

Ice wondered the Headquarters of the “Duos” and saw pairs of people walking around,

some of them were arguing, laughing, flirting, and practicing, all in pairs, but looking at these

battle scared knights, it made him scared. He had never been so timid in his life before. They

heard a loud noise on the loudspeaker, “Hey hey hey! Its Dragon here I want the following

Knights to report to my office: Fire, Ice, Vot, and Aria Azalus White!”

Two other Knights emerged from the crowd Ice had never seen before: A boy with the

Mighty Cobalt set, Mighty Defender, and Ascended Calibur. Lastly he saw a newbie, who had

the Spiral Pith Helm, Spiral Brigandine, Proto Sword, and Firotech Alchemer. They both stood

there staring at each other with puzzled expressions on when the Mighty Cobalt person, who

must have been Vot, came over to them and said, “Hey guys, you must be Ice and Fire, I’d love

to get to know you more, but we got to get to Dragon’s office.” Ice shook his head, nodded, and

followed Vot to Dragon’s office.

When they got to Dragon’s office Ice saw that Dragon was a full Dragon Scale set, with

a Dread Venom Striker strapped to his back with a Blight Needle at his side. He had a scar

running along his left eye, he looked dead serious except for the huge grin on his face. “Here

come my new recruits!” exclaimed Dragon, “Welcome to the Duos!”

“Woo hoo!” celebrated Vot and gave Ice a high-five. Fire did a little dance. “But where is

the fourth Knight?” Suddenly another Knight burst into the room “Agh, phew, oh Cradle…” said

the Knight as she burst in to Dragon’s office. Dragon raised an eyebrow, “A little late don’t you

think, Aria Azalus White?” asked Dragon. Aria Azalus White was a girl with a Golden Chapeau

and Radiant Silvermail and Argent Peacemaker at her side with a Crest of Almire on her back.

“Yes, yes I’m sorry,” said the Knight called Aria Azalus White “I just got here when,

another knight asked why I wasn’t at your office and I rushed over here as fast as I could.” “Did

you assign the pairs yet?” asked Aria Azalus White “Lucky for you I have not, I will give them

now,” said Dragon

“Let’s see….” said Dragon as he walked behind his desk, “Ah here we are… Ice… you

will be with… Fire.” Ice looked over at Fire, he saw the astonished look in his eye, Ice guessed

that he would be paired up with one of the other Knights not two beginners. “Vot you will be with

Aria Azalus White.” Vot looked over at Aria Azalus White, “Hey hey! I’m Vot, pleased to make

your acquaintance.” Vot said. Aria Azalus White smiled warmly, “Please, call me Aria,” “Well,

now I can see you’re all warming up to each other, but I have a job for both of your groups.” said

Dragon

“Ok first mission for your groups, a Tier 1 run, down to-“Vot cut him off “A Tier 1 run?

Why can’t we do a-“ Dragon cut Vot off this time, “The first terminal,” finished Dragon with a

steely glare towards Vot, “You may progress faster than others and get to the harder missions

I will assign you…” “You all are dismissed,” Dragon said back to his usual self, “Once you are

done with the run go to Basil and he will give you a special item then bring it back to me,” “That

will be all,” Dragon waved his hand dismissal, went back behind his desk, and sat down. “Well

we better getting to the gate now,” Ice said “Yeah, awesome!” exclaimed Fire. Ice could tell that

Fire was eager to get going, so they rushed to the Arcade.

“Which gate should we go to?” asked Ice when they got to the Arcade, he looked over

towards Fire and saw he wasn’t listening. “Hey, hey! Look at this gate! Why isn’t it an elevator?

Why does it have all these shiny crystals? Maybe it leads somewhere!” Ice went over to him

just in time, and pulled him back towards the gates. “Now which one should we do?” asked Ice

again, “Well, maybe we should do the Orange Pointy Stick Thing gate!” said Fire excitedly “Ok,

though I doubt that’s what the gate is called… Let’s GO!” said Ice

When they got down to the party lobby they saw the first level: Wolver Den, Ashes to

Ash Tails. “Ashes to Ash Tails, huh, well… let’s beast this place! Heehee, see what I did there?”

asked Fire. Ice just slapped his face. Ice took his Proto Sword and Shield out and stood readily.

Fire took out his Firotech Alchemer, cocked it, twisted it around, put it in his belt, and grinned.

Ice rolled his eyes, “Oh come on,” he said and with that he charged forward out of the protective

barrier.

First thing they saw was a bunch of bushes, “I wonder if there is anything in these

bushes?” Fire wondered and crawled under the bush. “GAAAAH! Heeee-e-eeelp!” Ice yelled,

he was under attack by a pack of 3 Wolvers. Ice hacked and cut at the Wolvers as they bit at

his heels. “Hey look at this flower, it’s so pretty!” said Fire as he picked the flower. “Guess what

WON’T be pretty? Your face when I’m done here!” said Ice as he killed the first Wolver and

started on the next one.

“Ok coming!” Ice looked over towards Fire and saw that he had a flower on his Pith

Helm. “What on Cradle is on your head???” asked Ice in a rush, “It’s the pretty flower I saw in

the bush!” Fire said as he got out of the bush. Ice stabbed the second Wolver. “Huh, huh, huh,”

Ice panted, “I thought, huh, huh, there was-“ he was cut off when another Wolver pounced on

him and knocked his sword out of his hand. “AUGH! Get off me-e-eee!” Fire aimed his Alchemer

at the Wolver’s fiery eye. Ice heard a BAM! “Aroof…” uttered the Wolver and it went limp. Ice

pushed the Wolver off him, looked at fire and said, “Nice shot, dude,” Fire grinned and did that

twirly move with his gun and replied, “Heck yeah! Now let’s go!”

Ice and Fire were on the floor, collapsed, and bloody all over by the time they got

to the terminal. “Oh, my GOSH…” whispered Ice as he got down to the terminal, “That was

HORRIBLE!” muttered Fire “Well, we made it...” said Ice wearily stood up, but fell back

down. “Unngh!” he tried again, and propped himself on his sword. “Basil, do you have to special

item?” Fire muttered weakly “Yes, I do little one, come, but heal first,” said Basil as he gestured

towards the healing pads. Ice and Fire hobbled over to the healing pads. Ice collapsed savoring

the fresh health.

Feeling rejuvenated Ice stood up, “What is the special item Basil?” Ice said in a

firmer voice than before. “It is quite odd, little one, it’s an apple.” Ice’s eye twitched, “We

got mauled, pummeled, nearly eaten, and torn apart FOR A FREAKING APPLE?!?!?” Basil

remained calm, “It was Dragon’s idea, little one, and I did not want question his request.” Ice

sighed, “Here, hand me the apple,” said Ice. Basil handed Ice the apple and Ice put it in his

backpack and said, “Thank you Basil, c’mon Fire, let’s go have a talk with Dragon.”

Ice burst in Dragon’s office, “WHAT ON CRADLE IS THE MEANING OF THIS?” Ice asked

furiously as he slammed the apple on his desk. “Ah yes thank you,” said Dragon at peace as

he took the apple from his desk, “Why did you send us through a Wolver infested place to get

an apple?” “I was getting hungry,” replied Dragon “Wait,” asked Ice, “We went on that run… TO

GET YOU A SNACK?!?” “Yes, exactly, thank you.”

With that Dragon took out some fresh cheese, which was odd because he did not have

a refrigerator in his office and put it on his apple. That was Ice and Fire’s very first run; now let’s

get to the real part.

Prologue Part II

1 year later they were both a full 5 star. Fire had the full Deadshot Mantle set, Heater

Shield, which Ice always makes fun of Fire for, Combuster, double Firo Drivers which Fire

tends to use more than anything else, and the Ash of Agni. Ice had the full Skolver set, Crest of

Almire, Glacius which he fondly named IceKlaw, Shivermist Buster, Divine Avenger, and Argent

Peacemaker, but when he is feeling comical, he often switches his Argent Peacemaker with his

old Frost Gun.

As well as being a full Five Star they were the best pair in “Duos” they had just brought

back a piece of the Red Roarmulus Twins’ tooth to Dragon, and before that the Ice Queen’s

refrigerator, and even before that The Rabid Snarbolaxes’ claws. “All this junk is better than, an

apple, huh?” asked Ice with a knowing smile. Dragon laughed, “I guess so.” “Although,” Dragon

added, “That was a good apple,” he said. They all laughed.

Aria and Vot had left the “Duos” not too long before, and had gone their separate

ways, still friends with each other and with Ice and Fire. Now that Ice and Fire were both Five

Star they could go on their very last mission: Bring back a Darkfire Almirian Seal! “Ready

for your next and last mission?” asked Dragon, “Heck, yeah! Bring it ON!” said Ice and Fire

simultaneously. “Well, then, you need to bring back at least one Darkfire Almirian Seal,” said

Dragon, “If you succeed than you can keep the rest of the seals and leave the Duos.”

For this particular run Ice had a Snarbolax Coat with a Vog Cub Cap with a Crest of

Almire strapped to his back. He had IceKlaw, his Argent Peacemaker, Divine Avenger, and

Final Flourish. Fire had the Deadshot Mantle and the Mad Bomber Helm, but with a Vog Set

costume; in addition he had his Firo Driver, Blitz Needle, and Shivermist Buster.

When Ice and Fire got to the Blackstone Bridge and they were shocked at what they

saw: bones, helmets, skulls, swords, guns, and bombs lying on the ground from dead knights

and dead Carnavons the defending wheels of the old Almirian gates shoot giant wheels at them

continually, ever dodging them as they avoid shadow fire and kill zombies. When they got to the

party button, Ice charged up IceKlaw and Fire charged up his Firo Driver they both stepped on

and the fight began!

Fighting waves and waves of Carnavons, they finally killed all of them except the

Trojans. The Trojans charged and Ice nimbly dodged it and Fire got out of the way just in time.

Fire got out the Shivermist, charged it up, set it down next to the Trojan, and kited around it until

the Shivermist froze it in place. He waited until the freeze did it’s damage, while he was waiting

he charged up his Blitz. Fire unleashed his volley of Blitz bullets and the Trojan left this world.

Meanwhile, Ice had trouble freezing his foe to the ground. “Bah, freeze you dang

Trojan!” yelled Ice as he unleashed IceKlaw’s charge again and again. While the Trojan was

occupied with Ice, Fire charged up his Driver. BAM! “Neigh...” muttered the Trojan after it fell to

its knees. It soon turned to stone and dropped crowns and hearts.

In the later levels Ice and Fire hacked through the never ending waves of Carnavons

and Trojans. They finally got The Throne Room of Darkfire Vanaduke! They healed up talked to

their friends, who wished them good luck.

Finally they talked to Aria and Vot, “Hey Vot! Hey Aria! How’s it going? We are currently

in the Throne Room of Darkfire Vanaduke,” Ice told his friends. “Awesome, good luck to you

both!” replied Aria. “May the spirits of the lost Knights be with you!” said Vot. “Thanks guys,”

replied Ice. With the luck that their friends wished upon them Ice and Fire stepped onto the party

button that would lead to their doom.

“What’s this?” roared Darkfire Vanaduke, “More wolves hungry for the blood of Almire?

Our great kingdom shall never fall to the likes of beasts!” And the battle began. Vanaduke’s first

move was to slam down his mace on the pair of knights, Fire adeptly dodged the mace and Ice

jumped up and landed on Darkfire Vanaduke’s mace, and started to run along the mace, up

onto his arm, and began to slash furiously at Darkfire Vanaduke’s face, neck, and chest.

Darkfire Vanaduke roared savagely and walked north to the top of the Throne Room. His

mask popped off and Vanaduke got on his knees and was inanimate. The mask began to spit

fire balls while some orbited him. Ice went over to the wells and threw a waterball at him and it

missed. Enraged, Ice went to the next well and threw it at him, again Ice blundered.

While Ice was epically missing Vanaduke’s Mask, Fire was busy defending himself

against the waves of fireballs. Fire looked back and saw Ice’s progress: it wasn’t very

good. “Hey! Ice!” shouted Fire, Ice looked over at him, when Fire was sure he had his attention

he said, “I’ll throw the waterballs at him, you come here and occupy Vana here,”

Ice came over to Fire expertly feinting the fire and shadow fire, he made it over to where

Fire was, while Fire made it to the wells. Ice blocked the damage with his Crest of Almire. Fire

threw a waterball at the mask. Sloosh! Vanaduke’s Mask was put out! Amazed, Ice cleft and

stabbed the mask while Fire bombarded the mask with Firo Driver bullets. They repeated that

until it inflamed Vanaduke. Vanaduke was on his Third Phase.

Ice and Fire attacked Vanaduke until he was so damaged that he was on his Fifth

Phase! Ice and fire were doing great, until Fire tripped. Fire tripped on a Carnavon’s skull.

Vanaduke, seeing this opportunity, summoned Cursed Dreadnaughts, and slammed down with

his mace, while Ice watched with dismay. It didn’t annihilate Fire, but a Dreadnaught ran over

and impaled Fire with his spear. Fire dangled lifelessly on the spear and the Dreadnaught threw

Fire at a wall, and there he slammed against the wall and didn’t get up.

Infuriated, Ice laid waste to the Throne room killing the Dreadnaughts and savagely

mauling Darkfire Vanaduke. Vanaduke tried his best to fend off Ice in his rage, but eventually

Darkfire Vanaduke got on his knees and laid down, dead. Ice rushed over to his friend, “No,

no, no, stay with me man! Don’t go don’t go!” sobbed Ice, “Ughh…” mumbled Fire. “Fire? Fire,

speak to me!” said Ice, “Hey, this was more disastrous than that Wolver Den, eh?” rasped Fire.

He gasped and closed his eyes. Something changed that day for Ice, he never wanted anything

to do with Dragon again and he went off hating everything.

When Ice got back to Dragon’s office he was polishing his nameplate. “Here is your

stupid Darkfire Almirian Seal!” said Ice, “Ah, thank you, Ice” said Dragon, “Uh, where is Fire.”

Ice’s glare broke for a moment, then the scowl returned, and he stormed out of Dragon’s office

and never came back. That’s where this story begins…

It's not too late to join, I might add you as the first main's friend, cause that's kind of how Main's firend works, but it will already be a lot of work formatting the Prologue and adding the weaopns and name in, Fire had his personallity though also foolish :P

I do need some more glad you asked, the MP shows what roles are left. That goes for other ppls to, other than Frostrex!

I said there were grammical errors? Huh.... weird lol. AND WHAT'S WITH THE SPAM??? I should just make a thread where everyone can take there spamming >_>. Yes it is nessicary, I would like to know more about your character, take Starmandeluxe's character "Trevor" for example, now I know that I should make him afraid of the Snarbolax and make him happily insane.

No problem, no problem! lol both of you XD. I have started a bit on Chapter I- The Squad, but I need more members for the squad! The rival squad will be introduced in Chapter III- Dwayne. And remember my brother, well he will be in the story as a minor character, maybe in CHapter IV or Chapter V, i don't know yet :/

Here is the first chapter and I am unable to format this because of all the complicated HTML codes and such, but all in all I hope you guys like it! (Sorry no new characters were added. Note: The random Almirian Destiny and Vot and Aria are the headers and footers, just thought that might help you comprehend all of it! ENJOY!
Almirian Destiny

Chapter I- Vot and Aria

“Is that you?”

5 years after Fire died, Ice went down into the Clockworks from time to time, but

never into Vanaduke’s gate ever again. He mainly went into Ice Queen Shadow Lairs.

His appearance had changed since Fire died as well, he changed his personal colour to

red, he now had a Snarbolax Set costume with a Skolver set as his set armour, he had

a Barbourus Thorn Shield, his main weapon set was, a Gran Faust, Acheron, IceKlaw,

and Fire’s old Firo Driver.

He rarely went to the Town Square or other places in Haven, because people

usually got out of his way, threw things at him, and little children cried when he came

near them. Today, went to the Arcade to go down to his usual relax place: Ice Queen

Jelly Palace.

When Ice got to the Arcade he came to an abrupt stop. Over by the Ruby Titan

gate was a knight with the Azure Guardian set and a Leviathan Blade strapped to his

back, it was a knight that Ice recognized as Vot! Ice hesitated as he saw Vot, but Ice

just walked onto the elevator when he heard a familiar voice from behind him, “Ice? Is

that you?” asked Vot. Ice said nothing. “Oh my gosh, it is you!” exclaimed Vot as he ran

over to meet his friend.

“Long time, no see man!” said Vot excitedly, “I’ll go call Aria, she’ll want to come

see you again!” “Umm, that might not be the best idea…” said Ice feebly. Vot didn’t hear

him, “Hey Aria, guess what? I just ran into Ice by the-“Vot held the phone away from his

ear and Ice heard a happy high-pitched screech, “Yes yes, I am not getting back at you

for that one time in the Snarbolax Lair,” “What? Yes he is standing next to me right now

you should come over right now!”

“Hiya! Ice!” said Aria excitedly, “Woah that was fast” commented Vot, “Yeah I

wanted to see my old friend again!” Aria said as she gave Ice a friendly hug. “I must get

going now,” said Ice rather quickly, “Where are you going?” asked Aria, ”You just go

here and I haven’t had time to catch up,” “Yeah, what happened to Fire? Is he here with

you?” “NO! He’s NOT!” yelled Ice, “Not anymore,” said Ice sadly, as he held Fire’s old

Firo Driver.

Vot and Aria looked a bit surprised at Ice’s sudden outburst. Vot put a hand on

his friend’s back and said, “It’s OK we understand,” “No, you don’t!” said Ice on the

verge of tears, he was like a brother to me, we teased each other, we wrestled, won in

Lockdown, defeated all the Shadow Lairs, all except…” Ice trailed off, “Darkfire

Vanaduke,” said Ice, he retold what happened in the Citadel. “I could have stopped him,

I wasn’t fast enough…”

Vot respectfully stabbed his Levi into the ground, while Aria was on her knees

sobbing. Ice turned back to go on the elevator with a tear in his eye. “Wait!” said

Vot, “Where are you going?” he asked, “To my usual seclusion hideaway: Shadow Lair

Royal Jelly Palace,” said Ice, “I am going now,” “Hold on a second, can we come?”

asked Aria, “No, not for the run, but we can rendezvous at the Depth 23 Terminal,” said

Ice, “I must meditate on a big choice. ”With that, Ice walked over to the elevator and

went down to Emberlight.

Ice went down to Emberlight and fought his way down through the depths

contemplating about something: a squad. It has been a trend in Cradle ever since the

elevators were expanded allowing more knights to step upon it allowing up to 7 knights

for different roles, Leader, Swordsman, Gunslinger, Bomber, Healer, All-around, and

other.

Ice finally made it to Depth 23 and made it to the rendezvous location and met up

with Aria and Vot. “Hey guys,” whispered Ice. “Hi Iceeee,” whispered Aria. “Why are we

whispering?” whispered Vot. They all laughed, Ice had shared his first laugh with his

friends in 5 years.

@Kaijuhunter I'm sorry that I haven't been able to put in the "Almirian Princess" aspect of Aria, The time isn't ripe.... lol, I will try to do it soon though, maybe a cliffhanger at the end of a chapter, idk.
