I love SK!
This is another one of those threads about loving SK and OOO. Just say why you <3 SK. :)
The reason why I love the game? Cause it actually will run on Linux. It is the only MMO I know that works on Linux. Everything else seems to stick with Mac and Windows, but mostly Windows. D:

I love it. I love OOO's design team, as I've thought their games have been thematically stand-out for a loooong time. So much that I've tried to get a job with them on several occasions, but..well...an art degree is not a programming degree. Ian's got both talents, and I don't.
but I digress.
This game is the most mainstream of OOO's games I've messed with, but man is it still neat. It's not bad-ass, or awesome....I call it "neat" as an inability to find any real wrongs with the theme or gameplay.
I played Everquest for 8 months in the early 2000s. I lost interest on the cusp on my character becoming elite (lvl 38 bard) AND my character having the means to advance solo (24regen/sec, best bard tool + better than epic weapons; pays to have a couple of elites as friends).
I lost interest in DDO and WoW in a week for each game. same ole, same ole.
I've been playing SK for almost a year, and still like it.
