Thanks for taking pic's Ruby <3
I am looking forward to the art and how the look of the game changed. Maybe they will come to the east coast one day flying to cali would be $$$.
@Knight-Solaire
he also had freakishly long reach for his height
lol.
Some day I will make it out to a comic con and visit with three rings, or even visit the offices. I REALLY want to see the offices in person I think they're so cool.
I'm completely jealous of anyone that got to go.
No really. Post pics.
@Knight-Solaire; Trust me, I know how you feel. I live in NC also, being across the country of the place that I would absolutely love to visit sucks.
Will have pics up soon. Writing the full article now, and trying to maintain on the LD leaderboard - thanks for waiting! Should be up by about 1:00 AM or so pacific time.
... and done! (pardon the double post.) Check out the full article at:

Hope I got all the info right - if there's anything I need to edit or any pictures they'd rather I not show, I'll update the article tomorrow.
Enjoy, and thanks to Ian/OOO/AoD for making the panel happen!
Excellent article. Thanks for sharing your experience, Ruby! It is such a shame I missed out on this, but this article compensated for that. :)
So fun!
Interesting, looks like the Lost Souls were part of the devilite kart game too. They provided the starting line lights?
I found that I can tip-toe too in the game, wearing full Mercurial then I walk with my shield up. It is pretty close to the Trojan's tip-toe.
Wow, I never really got that the beast bell actually purged a shadowy mass from the Snarbolax. I thought the colour change was done just to help signify that it was, in fact, vulnerable, and that the shadowy thing was just the natural colour of it. I'd love to see it be more pronounced in the shadow being blown away from it when it gets stunned, but alas.
That was really neat!
Thank you Ruby for your fantastic coverage of the event on your website.
Thank you Ian and 000 for the public appearance.
All very interesting.
The panel was very interesting and I learned many new things! Thanks so much for sharing your time with all of us Ian!
Very awesome write-up! Thanks Ruby, being stuck here at the land of polar bears and igloos isn't very conductive to these sort of events.
I love your description of the gremlins, by the way. Rats meets rabbits meets clothes, haha!
Guyinshinyarmour - Agreed, I didn't realize it either. I used to think it was just the Snarby getting stunned, but that's actually what the "real" snarbolax looks like. Pretty cool.
Myllakka - Ian's words on the rats meets rabbits meets clothes, by the way! :)
...Wanna know what would be a cool effect? Have Snarb armour turn brown if you're in range of a beast bells toll. Too bad that'll never happen either.
If only they had a guy that could work on neat little things like this.
Was hoping for the announcement of a Spiral Knights OVA.
Was disappointed. Oh well, nice concept art.
Dat lance...
+1
I like it a lot too.
I also like some of the origions on how charaters were made and such. (Like Vana being inspired from an idea for a regular enemy, or how our knights are based off those Nendoroid.)
Also....
Darn, I hate living in Kentucky....-_-
(Hm, the "Darn, I hate living in [INSERT PLACE HERE]" could make for a nice meme on here. xD)
Oh, so Ian DOES look like his 3PS persona!
The Spiral Knights panel today was fantastic. Tons of cool art, behind-the-scenes concepts from the early stages of the game, and a spotlight on tip-toeing Trojans. Nice job to Ian for making it a fun and engaging presentation.
Took a lot of pics and will have them posted along with a full article soon!
