What are some good suggestions to me to stop from being begged from? Every day when I am hanging out in Haven someone random trades me and then practically DEMANDS ce from me. Saying that if I don't give him 800 ce now he would report me. Even when I am in the Clockworks or the Training Hall I get spammed with trades. I need some ideas before I have a total blowout and while that blowout I get a trade request... Help, please.

quite strange...
I almost never have beggars.....which is odd considering I'm always in snarby and violet chap, but there's a few things around here that people tend to do:
1: put on proto gear (some have even tried begging back)
2: switch havens
3: hide the trade requests, no matter how many times they try, if they've already sent one, they can't send any more, nothing to deal with then
4: forcibly disconnect
5: put in enormous amounts of money and go afk without accepting
6: hide the trade and go afk
7: they can't report you for not giving them things, just keep calm and /laugh at what they think they can do
8: apparently some of them also don't realize that /sleep is a command and not just something you do while away......
Most of these things are posted somewhere around here as ways people deal with them, I forget where though, but most of these should do just fine for most times, and if it's in a run and they want to be tabbed, either do it, let them get on, then undo it and get on, or go solo, if you don't want to deal with it.

Bonus points if you equip a spur and a firecracker for your weapons.

Just wear proto, or ignore them. Most commonly used strategy, and quite effective. Just make a full proto loading or something, and go around like that.

Click "Hide" on the trade request. Boom, no more problem from that guy. If it's just trade requests and no begging beforehand, it's possible someone misclicked trying to inspect you. Trade and inspect are next to each other on the menu, you know.
Ignore PMs. Stonewall them and they'll pick another target. Not that hard. I like to think I dress in a dapper manner in game, so I'd be quite the target for begging. And yet, I rarely am. So it's probably not an issue with how you look. Besides, you shouldn't have to change how you look due to a few tosspots.

Spiral Cutlet and Spiral Bombhead Mask, Proto Crest and Cool mecha wings respectively.
My favorite/only costume since BN, modified when accessories came out.
Doubt that's gonna change any time soon.

I also like Llan's method. Tell them something like "Go get me three of the wild yellow flowers in the arcade
and two of the bright orange ones in the bazaar and then I'll give you a sword." Of course, then they'll be bothering

The ignored player does not receive notice about being ignored. If you have someone ignored, you will not:
-See any chat or emotes from the ignored knight
-See any tells from the ignored knight
-Be able to receive trade requests from the ignored knight
-See any friend requests by the ignored knight
-You also will not be able to receive any guild chat from the person you ignore if they are in your guild

I tell them to play the game, or log off and wait for the mist. Somtimes I trick them with mats and money.
If the repeatedly spam, REPORTING!!!
Once, went into trade, then put money, then when h accepted, I quit! I then kept on doing that and he then treatened to report!!!

-accept trade requests and fill my side with CE, Crowns, mats, and gear. Then go do something else knowing they cant annoy others as easily with the window open.

Any of you have any interactions with young children? It's a good idea to learn from them as they know some of the most textbook, ingenious tactics. They've been used on me myself several times actually and I cannot tell you how frustrating it is. Anyways, all you have to do in response to the begging is reply with the question: "Why?" Why? Why? I can think of only one type of response that subject beggar can give in which the magic question cannot be used: information questions (not yes/no questions). In these instances, all one must do is answer with this: "Well... Why do you ask?" Try it. They'll be fuming so hot, Vanaduke will be hiding in the refrigerator.

I usually just tell them that I'll give them 1 Cr every time they run around the fountain. Usually effective due to the fact that running around the fountain actually requires some form of work. Never had a single person take me up on it. I'm sort of disappointed... Another tactic I use is annoying them back enough to make them leave.
I do like the "Flower Picker" idea, though. Maybe we can take it a step further when Missions come out and convince them that it's part of one.

Normally trade requests are rare for me, despite wearing a Blue Chapeau. I mostly get friend requests instead, as for threatening to report and so, never happens. I have no idea why, I might just not be online for times in US/EU Timezones.
