Do fire UVs on a vog armor stack accordingly?

I don't want to make my ash tail high fire uv coat vog just to find out there's a maximum resist a single piece of armor can have... I'm pretty sure it works accordingly. Just making sure.

The cap is apparently 10

The cap is apparently 10 ranks of resistance, which is higher than you'll reach by simply wearing two pieces of Vog Cub, but the UV will push it to 11. Each piece gives 4 ranks of Fire resist, for a total of 8. So yes, they do stack, but one rank will be wasted if you wear the full set.

sweet, thanks for the answer

sweet, thanks for the answer :D I'm planning on just wearing one vog and one skolver or snarby, or anything else with it so I can get a lot of fire resist from the one armor.

I actually did not know this!

So if wearing full Vog, all you need is one Fire High to hit the cap?

Can anyone confirm this with a link, or data? My search skills are failing me.

@Otaia Were are you getting

@Otaia
Were are you getting that resistance caps at 10? Are you counting blocks? Threads that I have seen testing fire resistance did not find a hard cap (though returns did diminish).

@Otaia Ok, I compared what

@Otaia

Ok, I compared what you said to some date from here (date is in bars of fire damage):

and what you said sounds pretty accurate only I don't think it is so much of a hard cap at 10 as it is that returns diminish completely. The difference between 8 and 10 is very very tiny as well.

@OP

You may want to consider making that Ash Tail into Snarbolax or Skolver because High is a pretty significant help to fire damage or if you stack it on a Vog piece that could free you up to run a helm that doesn't have fire protection.
