hey, i'm new here but during the short time i spent playing (2hours + lag) i came to really like the game ... its simple, clean, fun and dare i say ..... beautiful ?
so the reason this isn't at the suggestions is because i know someone must've thought about this before, but why can't this game move to consoles too (XBL,PSN & Wii) ?
controls are simple to be handled be all the console's controllers, all three can handle the graphics with ease (if anything can handle MGS, Alan Wake and Zelda it gets a pass in my book), there is no need for offline mode since a number of games have already been released that is online only (MAG for example) and there is a market for this style of playing as we can see with Little big planet that sports a close type of gaming.
Also it is understandable how little companies would want to steer clear of consoles because of costs, but i don't think SEGA can be called a little company or an inexperienced one (vanquish, binary domain).
and of course .... I'D REALLY LOVE TO PLAY THIS ON A CONSOLE :D
so why wouldn't this game make it well on consoles ? it seems to meet the criteria of a good online network game ?
*excuse my noob-full thread, i know this could be an issue many raised before, but i can't help but to try and dig for hope of ever seeing this on my PS3 network :)
*N.B : flamers ... be gentle >_<
The problem with consoles is the services. Computers are open, free, you can work with them as you want.
With consoles you have to deal with a lot of [bullcrap] from the companies.
I think putting up a patch for an Xbox game costs about 40k dollars. That would be simply ridiculous for a game like SK.
Also chatting is a hassle without a keyboard.
