Two shot, piercing damage, crafted off the Magnus, slow walk speed while firing and reloading, chance to poison.

Main feature: knockback is reversed and pulls the enemies towards the knight, to replace the lost ability of the pepperbox line.

Now, I'll leave it up to the developers whether it should sound suspiciously like "GET OVER HERE" every time you land a hit...

I wasn't claiming to be the first, only that it had been discussed just yesterday by Verodius and I.

What if it hits a big guy or turret or wall, it ends up pulling the player?

Dunno, for fun.

How was it abused? Nick said in another thread that it was a bug, but that another gun with a pulling mechanism was completely plausible.

On topic, I would love to see a gun like this, although I'm not 100% on making it piercing.

@Madladder As Milkman pointed

@Madladder As Milkman pointed out, Nick stated it was an unintentional bug, and that's all.

@Milkman Pulling constructs and jellies towards you is rarely desirable and they generally chase after you well enough as it is, and now that the Antigua lines are pure elemental and shadow, piercing no longer has a mobile gun line.

again with the misspelling of my name...

fine it's a bug but one of the best bugs around i hated the pulling mechanic to the point where i couldnt use the weapons period.

harpoon assault turret

i like your idea nycota-kitty , i like it alot , its an awesome. idea but if you add stun to the gun and add 6 shots and put your idea into a two handed assault turret.it would be the best. i would save up for a long time to get it no matter how long it takes.

Madadder or monkeyman I think

Madadder or monkeyman I think is what you used to go by

Nick himself said: "Is there opportunity for a handgun to be designed that uses an abnormal attack style like pulling monsters toward you? Absolutely. But if that were to be designed, we would be explicit in our doing so, as well as the presentation to the player."

here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/44606

"i doubt they would remove the pulling ability that the pepperbox and the others without GOOD reason.... as in it was ABUSED. quit trying to undo thier decision, accept it and move on"

Edited the last part out, other people mentioned this. Well here is his exact quote. Still.... Grr.

Giving it poison and piercing

Giving it poison and piercing defeats the purpose of the plague needle.

Instead of giving it a status effect, I would alter how it does damage. The closer you are to the target, the more damage it does. It would be like a Polaris in reverse and make more sense with the pull-in ability.

@Alchemystic The Callahan

@Alchemystic The Callahan doesn't defeat the purpose of the Blitz Needle. The plague needle will still have significantly higher DPS than this weapon.

ive actually been thinking of the idea and love it!it could be like a gun that shoots out a chain with a claw on the end that would would pull the enemy in to about a couple of blocks away from the player while causing damage(piercing or normal,possibly shadow?).and the charge could send out the chain with the claw,but instead of pulling in the monster it grabs,it like whips the monster from side to side and then throws it back a few blocks.it could also cause a stun status effect.

This... is a good idea. Good addition to the game. Shame I don't use guns... not enough damage. XP

@Nicoya-Kitty: Special

@Nicoya-Kitty: Special characteristics like the ability to pull in enemies are not easily balanced by damage. There is a limit to how low you can set the damage before it becomes inadequate for killing anything. Factoring in status effects only complicates matters.

It doesn't make any sense to have this gun come from the Magnus alchemy line because the mechanics are simply too different.
