Dunno if anyone else is getting this much "bad luck". Before one of these recent patches I'd usually go maybe 1 in 3 without any 4* recipes, but I've literally gone 7 runs without any. I want to play this game, but I'm getting pretty discouraged.

I'm on 4 runs and counting

I'm on 4 runs and counting since I last spotted a 4-star recipe. Getting to Tier 3 is going to be pretty tricky at this pace.

There's a quick fix to your problem: make sure you can't afford your recipies. I've seen each of my 5* ones at least twice today. I have about 10k. ><

@Shani
lol...I kind of wonder about that...the last few runs when I didn't have enough money for a freezing atomizer... it was there, along with a faust. Then the next few runs, nothing. Luckily a guildmate bought me the recipe at cost today so that was lucky for me.

Maybe switching up gates would help, but I doubt it. Guess you've gotta settle for Kozma type items =T

I'm sure its not impossible though, but we could use slightly better chances.

I'll also note that things are such that people are pimping out "their" Basil if he has good recipes. I watched someone do this for hours today on the same Basil.

But it works, apparently, though I gave up, sold crystal energy for crowns, and bought a 4* recipe at markup from another player.

5K for an invite to a terminal is what ive been seeing from one dude. sounds steep, but i suppose the recipe markup would be just as bad, if not worse.

You guys have NO idea how

I just had a bit of a nasty run-in with Basil myself. It took the form of me thinking he robbed me by not giving my item, but taking my crowns .... but after talking to a GM (very fast and courteous, by the way), looks like I accidentally sold the item back to him right away for like a 15,000% reduction. :P

So, he's not all bad.

A way to trick him is to sink

A way to trick him is to sink a few thousand into the energy market trying to underbid all the people there so the majority of your wealth is "gone". Then when you finally arrive, and you're "too poor" to buy what you want, you'll finally see what you wanted and can cancel the energy bids.

That or you bought some CE below market price, helped contribute to lowering the cost average, and have energy for crafting later on. >D

7 T2 runs without a single 4*

7 T2 runs without a single 4* for me since I started counting, all in a row. Why, Basil?
