I actually noticed it when I looked at my guildies list.
I wanted to see who was available to help me with something, so I mouse over them.
One guy came up as the mission: The Gauntlet.
After my pause of shock, I quickly messaged him.
"Is that an arena by any chance?"
"Yeah, but I finished it already."
"Don't worry about that. Is that a multi type arena?"
"Uh, yeah?"
"As in no specific monster class? Not like slimey showdown with mainly slimes?"
"Well, there was /monster specification in waves here"

Having OOO implement an idea that resembled exactly what you created. Nice! May have a read later in that case

@Xylka-Mkii If you don't like one-man-army style fighting, skip most of the fight scenes in Part 1. The actual storyline gets better in Part 2+

OOO/Sega may have implemented your idea in the game. I'd say that's a huge honor. If you're trying to bring attention to the similarities, then I'd say congrats. The devs actually read and act on the stuff posted on here. (=
Of course, this is assuming the devs didn't come up with the idea themselves. They might have. It's not uncommon for two or more people to separately come up with the same idea at the same time.
But, if you are posting this to protest the possibility that OOO/Sega may have taken your idea, then I'd say that you shouldn't have posted your idea to the forums in the first place. I'm pretty sure OOO/Sega reads the forums and gets ideas based off what you post here. Further, I'm pretty sure the forum terms of use allows OOO/Sega to take anything you post here and implement it in game with no compensation to you. (Just look under part 1 of "participatory content.") So I do not think there's any room for litigation even if you wanted to go that route.
Just asking, why do people try to interpret my post as one with selfish intent?
I was just asking if the the Gauntlet is the same one as described in my story.
Also, it'd be nice to know if they did in fact get the idea form my story. Not that I'd mind, its just nice knowing.
Where did I even imply that I was irked that the same idea was made in my story in a 'I HAD IT FIRST GIMME BACK' scenario? I did even say it was probably just a really big co-incidence.
And if psycho really wanted to protest, he'd link the story where max fought the gauntlet. He didn't.
Instead, he made topic to draw in people that had already read the story. His fanbase, so to speak, and addressed them.
Lies, I just have dedicated readers.

EDIT: Besides, if I was actually protesting, I like to think I'd be more open and obvious about it, or at the very least sarcastic.
