Hi, i'm gonna try and do a fanfic, and I have about what 8-10 spots open, so, if you want to, here's how you get on:
Example
Name: Armor

Gender: Male

Favourite Weapons: Cold Iron Carver, Silversix, Iceburst Brandiish, Heavy Pulsar

Armor and Shield: Drake Scale Helm, Ash Tail Coat, Wise Owlite Shield

Bio: Kora's brother, after Kora was attacked by Wolvers early after the crash, Armor worked hard so he could go into the Clockworks, to try and protect Kora from the monsters in the hidden depths of the Clockworks. He is smart, a talented duelist, a natural leader, but is headstrong, and can be arrogant at times, which tends to hinder his people skills.
(I'll determine if you're good or evil from your bio, I need some evil siders though, so help my cause please.)

Spiralian

Not necessarily evil, just battle hardened.

Armor: Shadowsun Slicker and Fallen Helm

Shield: barbarous thorn shield

Weapons: Sentenza and a Silent Nightblade

Personality: a loner, made no friends, rarely speaks around others

Bio: A once kind and loving boy, Kodokuna had witnessed the gruesome murder of his family when his town was invaded by an enemy of Almire. He blamed the Almirians for the death of his people, and is now almost devoid of all emotion. He sometimes is hired as an assassin, but doesnt like the job. He doesnt take pleasure from carnage and death, but he never hesitates to kill. He is calculating, a good tacitician, fierce, and merciless.

Weakness: ocasionally, Kodokuna will have flashbacks from his past and pass out in battle. Otherwise, he is prudent, calculated, and malicious.

Misc: his name is usually shortened to Koda.

Ok, I'm just gonna start, hope you like!

Chap.1, Part1- Candlestick Keep
Kodokuna was NOT in a good mood. Then again, he normally wasn't. But here he was, on Kora's request, in his worst place in the Clockworks, Candlestick Keep. He normally avoided this place like he avoided well, anything ELSE he hated, which was a lot of things. One such example was loud, obnoxious, constantly blabbing AIRHEADS. which basically described his party. So depressing, mostly because if it was up to him, he would work alone.

"Koda, did you see my TOTALLY AWESOME move? I just took out two cats with one swipe!" Truly Magnificent, the loudest of them, said. Koda nodded almost imperceptibly, but he nodded. Despite having a Silent Nightblade, Koda was doing pretty well. He lit the candle, and it glowed white. Immediately Kats appeared, surrounding them.
"YEEHAW! LET"S GO!" the other three airheads of the party yelled. Koda shook his head and simply struck a Kat with his sword. IT bounced off. HUH? came Koda's thought. He shielded, and it broke in two hits. WHAT? came the next thought. "THIS-IS-TIER-2!" Koda yelled, hitting the Kat with each blow. The Kat purred. PURRED. "KATS DO NOT PURR!!" Koda yelled. There it came. His mother being bit by a Kat. The Almirians had captured some Kats and were using them to invade the base nearest to Haven. His mother had fought valiantly, but in the end, she was caught from behind.
Just like he had just been. And it hurt WAY too much.
"Fall BACK!" he yelled, very much against his will. His airhead party was way ahead of him. They were already GONE. Koda didn't like to swear, but he swore. It cost him. A Grimalkin had caught him. He tried to throw fire at it, tried to hit it, everything. He couldn't run, he was surrounded. "HELP!" he called. Of course noone heard.

So this was it. He couldn't believe it. After all he'd been through, he was going down to some Tier 2 Grimalkins. He really couldn't accept it. THIS was why he soloed his missions. Strangely, all he could think was "Kora owes me big time." And with that, the biggest Grimalkin pounced. And that was it. "It's over," were Koda's final words.

Part II-

Chapter1, Part 2- Haven
"We didn't see him coming after us, I really don't know what happened to him," the worry-stricken Truly Magnificent said to Armerio. His head seemed to have been deflated of air for the moment.
"Well, the two minute revive time is gone, but i'll try and find the body kid, ok?" Armerio said soothingly.
"Can you go NOW?" Truly Magnificent asked.
"Sorry kid, gotta clear it with the Commander first," Armerio explained. Truly Magnificent nodded and walked off, his head down. Armerio shook his head. Once Koda couldgo down to a Tier 2 Kat, anyone could. They weren't friends during his time on Haven, but Koda was never an enemy. Armerio had sparred againstr and alongside him many times. He was a truly magnificent dueler, fueled by his parents going down to Kats, making his death all the more ironic. Thinking about it, Armerio realised that he couldn't beleive it. Koda would never go down to a Kat, of all things. He was going to find him, bring him back and settle his mind. Koda was alright.

Armerio was right, although it was to an extent. Koda was very much living and breathing and alive. He was however, definitely NOT alright. HE was in USED Zombie grave. As i'm sure you can imagine, not nice. That Grimalkin was hovering above the grave, eliminating all escape chances.
"Sucks to be me," he thought grimly. Well, if anything, he was getting a proper USED grave, at the very least. It showed that the monsters of the Clockworks were not as mindless as they made themselves seem, right?
Here it came. He saw his father and mother being lowered beneath the earth. He saw himself crying, wondering what he was going to do next. Being lifted out of the earth. No wait, this was really happening. Phantoms, yes phantoms were raising him out of the earth. He tried to reach for his sword, but was thoroughly paralysed. The phantom's necromancy was getting stronger and stronger. He could feel his soul dropping to the blackest depths possible. while he felt himself become physically stronger. What was happening? He had heard about creatures, no knights, captured by phantoms and turned into their puppets, but had dismissed them as pure fiction. Now he was beginning to wonder if there was some truth behind them. But all he could really do now, was close his eyes. Most likely permanently.

We'll have a little action next time, alright.

Bio: Kana is the twin sister of Vanaduke, but they have a lot difference, Kana is kind and soft, she will never kill unless is necessary. Even thought she is soft, she had great sword fighting skills because she born into the royal family of Almire. Kana is one of the only survivors after Almire was destroyed by Vanaduke. Now Kana wonders the Clockworks helping knights in need(She is known for being at the right place at the right time.). She is also a wise adviser.
P.S. Koda, I am not ur enemy.

i just read Part one and two, it was great! btw, when Spiral Knights landed on Candle, the most Almirians have been turned into undead by Vanaduke when he destroyed Almire and turned it into Firestorm Citadel. So there is no way Almirians will attack Haven.

Part III, tell me what you think!

Chapter I, Part III- Candlestick Keep

Armerio had cleared the mission with Commander Blue, who had almost made it in the Alpha Squad, but Haven needed her more at the Arcade, than who knows for how long in the Clockworks. The Commander even decided to come with him, so that made Armerio feel better, as Candlestick Keep was not his favourite place.
"You can smell the death here," Commander Blue said in a disgusted tone.
"I'm always on edge like this, so I don't notice it anymore," Armerio replied. They walked slowly, wait for the Kats to appear. Right on cue, they did.
"Why can't these Kats give people a break? For once i'd like to see an Owlite, just please," Armerio complained. The Commander laughed, and fired the rounds of her Silversix into the crowd of Kats. Armerio used his Cold Iron Carver to hack through the crowd. He weaved and dodged through the crowd of Spookats to get to the Commander, who probably didn't need help, but it was the honourable thing to do. Armerio unleashed a charge attack on the Kats, clearing some space for him and the Commander. He took out his Silversix, and fired some rounds into the crowd alongside Blue.

Blue was worried. These Kats were stronger than she could ever have estimated, of course for a Tier 1 Kat though. Her Leviathan Blade handled them well. Armerio was firing at different Kats, trying to keep as many of them at bay as possible. His marksmanship needs a little work, Blue couldn't help noticing. She used another charge attack, and about six Kats fell to her Leviathan Blade. She smiled. And just like that, the light went out.
"Let's move, Armerio," Blue ordered. They flat out ran. Something didn't feel right. Grimalkins were missing by inches as they ran through the passages.
"Way too strong for Tier 1," Armerio panted.
"You really think you need to tell me that?" Blue asked.
Armerio lit a candle. Instantly appeared a mob of Kats. Armerio moaned, and set right to it with his Carver. Blue was taking a more reserved approach with this group, firng with the Silversix. The Kats came after her though, despite Armerio dealing more damage. Blue switched to her Leviathan Blade and tried to slice the Kats away. Armerio finally finished with his group and ran over to help, firing shots as he came.
"Honestly, where are the wolvers when you want them?" Armerio said. It was amazing the kid had this sort of composure in this sort of situation. Well, he WAS Kora's brother, after all.
"Armerio, I think we should make a break for the elevator," Blue said.
"Ok, who first?" he asked.
"You go," Blue said. Amerio slauted, turned and ran. He didn't get far. A grimalkin appeared out of nowhere and punced.
"NO!" Blue yelled. She used the charge attack, and picked Armerio up before the Grimalkin could take him. She ran like the wind, actually extinguishing the white candles. After what seemed like an eternity, she made it to the elevator and pressed Haven. As the elevator went up, all Blue could say, after all her medic experience, was..
"No, please, no.."

Graveyard

"Lord Kodokuna has risen!" the big phantom, what was his name again, right Necro, declared. The phantoms, zombies, Kats, devilites, even trojans and howlitzers celebrated. Kana, did not find this thought appealing. Vanaduke was WRONG when he said that a new ally was all he needed to crush Haven. This...Kodokuna, would crush him. He was too powerful. So unless dear older brother Vana could swallow his massive ego, he was going to die once and for all. The one called Kodokuna rose from the ground. He spoke three words, at a volume of thunder.
"KILL THE SPIRALIANS!"
Kana shook her head.

@Armerio: don't want to ask 2 much of you, but will Koda somehow revert back to his old self? like, will Kana or some1 else somehow save him from the perpetual darkness that the demons have inserted into his very being? plz make him somehow get better. but its ur fanfic. btw nice chapter!

Here we go again, tell me what you think

Chapter 2, Part I- Haven:Arcade

"I don't know how Tier 1 Kats are so strong!" Armerio exclaimed. Kora was still reeling from the information she was receiving from Armerio, who was lucky the Grimalkin hadn't bit his revivor.
"I don't understand what's happening yet, Arm," Kora said gently.
"Any ideas?" Armerio asked impatiently.
"Yea, one. Some a-hole left the door to the Shadow Lairs open, and the energy is strengthening the dark monsters of Cradle," Kora said.
"What kind of idiot would do that?" Armerio asked.
"No, not idiot, unlucky. Unlucky Leprechaun, you know him?" Kora asked.
"Yea, what about him?" Armerio asked.
"He opened a Shadow Lair gate, and before he could close it behind him, a group of Void Zombies attacked him and his party, they probably didnt't realise they didn't close the gate," Kora said solemnly. Armerio shook his head. Commander Blue walked into the Intel camp. She had a pained look in her eyes.
"Armerio, I would like to apologise for putting you through that whole episode. It was all my fault, and for that.."
"Sorry Commander? You don't have anything to apologise for. If it wasn't me, it would have been you, and I couldn't handle that. And look, no harm done," Armerio said.
"Ok, if you're sure," Blue said tentatively.
"No problem, Commander," Armerio said cheerily.
"Alright, thank you Armerio," Commander Blue said. They saluted, and the Commander walked off.
"Hey Armerio, you were looking for Koda, right?" Kora asked.
"Yeah.." Armerio said.
"Well, you might want to look at this screen here, no audio though, sorry, it's a graveyard," Kora said.
Armerio looked, and didn't like what he saw.

Graveyard

"Where is Vanaduke?!" Kodokuna boomed. The Darkfire Vanaduke, sufficiently humbled, walked up to his new master.
"Yes sire," Vanaduke whispered
"I will be taking over the Firestorm Citadel, you will move to the Scarlet Fortress," Kodokuna said matter-of-factly.
"NO! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!" Vanaduke boomed. Kodokuna drew his SIlent Nightblade and Sentenza, both strengthened by the shadows, and said,
"If you disagree, I can easily make you see my point of view. I need you to attack Haven, I don't care if you win or lose, just weaken it enough so that once i'm ready, I can destroy Haven. Easy, right?" Kodokuna asked. Vanaduke was infuriated. Here was this upstart idea of his own creation, challenging him for leadership. Kodokuna's eyes, however, told a different story. They said that he was going to kill the Spiralians, and ANYONE who stood in his way. The cuts Kodokuna's sword inflicted on him burned, as Vanaduke realised that he himself was in Kodokuna's way. It was a humbling thought. He bent on one knee, and said,
"Your will is my command."
"Thought so," Kodokuna said.
Kana needed to warn Haven. This news was most troubling indeed. She gripped her Divine Avenger, and decided, she had to help them. This Kodokuna needed to see sense, and talking to him would not help. She took the first step of her journey.
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?" Kodokuna boomed. Kana froze.

Bio: Adn was always a very bright boy, coming in first with every science contest, he was always particularly good with robots. One day he made a robot that would open the core, unfortunatly he misprogrammed it and it laid waste to his hometown, he fought with it but eventually it took off one of Adn's legs, from that day forward he tinkered with every mecha-knight hoping he would get better.

Additional Facts: If given a Mecha-Knight, Adn will tinker with it for the rest of the day.

@Sanin & Kaijuhunter- Thanks for the comments, wait till you see what you two do in the next part...hehe

@Isekuube- Your character is accepted, of course, but he may be difficult to work into the story, so you may see him tinkered with a little, not a lot, i'm definitely keeping the robot part and shadowy past. But maybe, you'll see him just as you typed him up pretty soon, that's about 50-50 chance.

@Powpowpow- First off, your character is accepted, he may die, he may not, if he does die, he dies late(just letting you know his life expectancy). But the no bio thing allows me to create a real nice backstory for him. Last off, let me issue a warning, do NOT spam my fanfic, I am not nice when annoyed.( I check on Kaiju's fanfic).

Here we go!

Chapter 2-Part II: Haven

"There's ANOTHER Vanaduke!" Armerio yelled. This did not look good. Of all the mavericks in the Clockworks, there had to be TWO Vanadukes. Darkfire Vanaduke was a different stage of Vanaduke, where he learnt all these fancy new Darkfire stuff, he was there. But another regular Vanaduke, one wearing oversized Fallen Armor Set with a PIPE.
"What the-"Armerio cut himself off.
"That is not Vana. The Darkfire one is the real Vana,"Kora said flatly.
"Then who the HELL is that?" Armerio burst out.
"She is Kana, Vanaduke's GOOD big sister," Kora related.
"There's a Vanaduke on our side?" Armerio asked. Kora laughed, shook her head and said,
"Yea, there's a Vanaduke on our side."

Graveyard

"SO? WHERE ARE YOU GOING? ANSWER ME ALMIRIAN PIECE OF CR**!" Kodokuna barked. Kana shook her head and thought, Knights are so insolent these days.
Kodokuna drew his sword, no words needed to explain.
"I was going to prepare the Citadel for you to live in, you know, make it seem less like Almirian crap and more liked power crazed megalomaniac single cell cro magnon kind of home," Kana said sarcastically. Vanaduke looked at his older sister with admiration. Why hadn't he followed her guidance?
"Listen just the stench of Almire gives me bloodlust. Do NOT test my patience," Kodokuna seethed, and drew his Sentenza.
"You're just all talk, no fight," Kana retorted.
"Ok, then why don't I show you why I will take over Haven and succeed where your mutt of a brother has failed?" Kodokuna asked teasingly.
"Oh this is rich, the little short squat wants to take on me, the finest warrior in all of the old Almire, bring it Koda," Kana said.
"Koda is the past, much like death is your future," Kodokuna said gravely.
"NO! I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!" Vanaduke roared.
"do something," Kodokuna murmured. VAnaduke charged like a bull to Koda and brought down his mace. Kodkuna dodged it, and cut the mace in half with his Silent Nightblade. He shot out Vanaduke's knees, then destroyed Vanaduke's mask with a Sentenza gunshot. He sliced his Silent Nightblade across Vanaduke's throat. That was it. It was over for Vanaduke, just like that. He fell to the ground for the last time ever. Back in Haven, Armerio, Kora, Commander Blue and the others watched speechlessly at the massacre. They watched Koda point his sword at Kana, and Kana draw her D.A.

Kana let out a bull roar, terminating the transmissions Haven had from the Graveyard. She charged, much like her brother, but stopped short and shielded with her Crest of Almire. Just in time too, as Koda had struck the shield with his Silent Nightblade. She hit him with her Divine Avenger and hurriedly switched to her Argent Peacemaker. She fired round after round into the frame of that knight. The knight got up and returned fire with the Sentenza, with dead on target shots. Wounded, Kana raised her shield. She hid her hand while she took out her Barbarous thorn blade. Kodokuna was rapidly advancing, her shield was weakening. It finally nroke when he was at point blank range. SHe jumped at her chance, quicker than a whip, driving her Barbarous Thorn Blade..onto his shield. The damage actually did break the shield, but by the time he got hit, it was 3/4 less damage. Kodokuna drove his Silent Nightblade into Kana's side. She staggered backwards, finally grounding herself with her heel. She stabbed her D.A. into the ground, creating an immense cloud of dust. This was her chance. She used the Argent Peacemaker's charge attack and walked away. There was no way he was getting up from that.

"What happened Kora?" Armerio asked snappily.
"I don't know, no sound, remember?" came the reply. The whole room was overcome with speculation over which Kana had lived or died.
"Why don't we just look for ourselves, send four of you down there to help Kana and reestablish our communications with that Graveyard unit.
"I'll go!" Armerio rang out. There was a tense silence in the room. Nobody wanted to go to that Graveyard, the graveyard probably needed a Graveyard. Then again Kana had helped them many times before. What to do....

Somewhere in the Graveyard, came the wounded roar of an Almirian.

I loved teh new chapter a couple of things though. You censored "crap" when Koda said it and you didn't censor it when Kora said it. ALso I think you may bave over used the adjective "bull". And I didn't know someone could ask something "snappily". Ok, that's just about all the things I saw, other than that awesome chapter! THanks,

Armerio, u should read the wiki

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! hold on a second, Kana is not a Vanaduke, if u don't know, all Almirians(like Kana) looks exactly like a Spiralian(SK). How Vanaduke look all huge and monster-looking was that he was transformed into a monster by the gods of Almire because he wanted power to protect Almire, so the gods gave him dark energy. The dark energy infused Vanaduke with ash and dust to form a bigger, powerful, monster-looking body(thats the form you normally see him in the game.) But before he transformed he was a normal looking Spiral Knight.(there is no description about what kind of armor or helm Vana wears before he was transform.) So once again Kana didn't get transformed so she is a normal looking SK/Almirian.

@Isekuube- For the overall feedback, thanks a lot. Then, for the criticism, amazing what I don't notice when I type, thanks for that too.

@Sanin- Ok let's see if I can fix this. Being Vana's twin sister and all, Kana was also seen fit to receive the power of the Gods of Almire, but she can transform back and forth from knight to Almirian protector at will. This does have drawbacks, as when in her 'protector' form she is slightly vulnerable to all types of damage.

Sneak Peek at Part II

Graveyard

Kana was tired. Koda just would not go down. He was firing at her right now. She replied with a D.A. charge attack and dodged a Silent Nightblade swipe from Koda. She needed some time so she could lose this bulky fighting shell. She hit Koda with her Proto Sword, driving him back. She tore into the ground with her Argent Peacemaker, creating another immense dust storm. Shots were fired from both sides, as Kana hurriedly switched to her knight form. She and her weapons shrunk rapidly. Koda let out a wounded yell. Kana smirked. As the dust cleared Kodokuna slowly came face to face, with a GIRL. A Spiralian girl. The girl ran. The armor and the weapons were exactly the same, and she was breathing Fire. Kodokuna suddenly realised the truth.
"KANA!" he boomed. The girl stopped, as if she knew it was over. Well, at least she was smart. Maybe he would make her an undead servant. He smiled as he rose his Sentenza.
"Goodbye," he said. The Sentenza tore into Kana's shield, kicking up another duststorm. Kodokuna continued shooting for about five minutes. Then he felt something die. He smiled.
"And like that the Almirian race is extinct, mother and father would be so proud," he said.

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.

Chapter II, Part III (Full version)

Haven: Arcade

"I can't believe none of you guys are going to help Kana, we're knights, not wimps," Kora said disapprovingly. This was true, of course, but even knights know when they're not likely to come out alive.
"So why don't you go?" came a challenging voice from the crowd. Whoever said received at least 10 slaps on his head, as Kora was the best Intel knight there was.
"I would.." Kora started. A collective moan came from the crowd. Kora rolled her eyes, and continued, "But my apprentice, Databank, isn't back from her break yet." Databank, however, was conveniently already there.
"If you don't get a full squad, i'm not intelling a suicide mission," came the bored voice of Databank.
"Well, Kana's going to die because of these guys then," Armerio said, seething with anger. At that comment, someone finally said,
"I'll go." He walked around the crowd, with an entourage of 8 perfectly functioning, glitch free, mecha knights.
"So, who are you?" Armerio asked.
"Just someone who Kana helped, and someone really good with mecha knights," the knight said.
"Well, that's a mouthful of a name," Armerio commented. Kora hit him on the head.
"Be nice," she whispered.
"I'm gonna come," said someone else. The crowd parted for someone running like a madman right up the middle of the room.
"So, who are you?" Armerio asked.
"Call me Gunshot," the knight said really quickly. The bored disposition of Databank changed in an instant.
"So, let's go help Kana!" she shouted. The room of wimp knights suddenly became electrified and cheered wildly, thinking in their minds,
"We'll TRY and find your bodies,"

Graveyard

The instant they stepped off the elevator, dust zombies rose to greet them. Armerio took the invitation with an Iceburst Brandish charge attack, and a couple hits from a Silversix. Kora was tampering with her Com Unit, saying,
"Kana is this way, thanks Databank." She kicked a wire, rebooting the connection from the Graveyard to the Arcade. In the Arcade, a knight said gloomily,
"Yay, now we get to see them die."
"Shut your mouth please, your breath is affecting my work," Databank snapped at the offending knight. As the squad ran through the graveyard, they were pursued by Kats. Armerio and Gunshot were keeping them at bay with their Silversixes. The path ahead was cut off by some Howlitzers. The knight with the mecha knights, (whose name was Adn, by the way) snapped his fingers. Three mecha knights ran forward, and destroyed the Howlitzers with one slash. Kora's eyes widened to about double their normalcy. Adn saw Kora's eyes, and said,
"I told you in the Arcade, i'm really good with mecha knights." Kora nodded and signalled for them to move forward. They had almost gotten to Kana.

Graveyard

As the dust cleared Kodokuna slowly came face to face, with a GIRL. A Spiralian girl. The girl ran. Koda's first thought was to let her go, Kana WAS the concern here. ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.

Hell would be termed as a set of Volcanic Pepperbox bullets being fired by a knight named Gunshot. Then about eight mecha knights, slicing him with surprisingly strong swords. Adn himself decided to enter the action while Armerio tried to revive Kana. He set about five Shivermist Busters around Kodokuna, all of which froze him into a sculpture. While setting more bombs, Adn muttered,
"Exquisite sculpture," to himself. Kana was back on her feet, and Kodokuna heard KORA, yes, it was Kora, say,
"Alright, let's move!" This was unfair, the person who caused him to die, was taking away his bloodsport Almirian. Rage that Kodokuna had never before experienced caused him to shatter the bombs. He pursued his assailants with increasing anger at every step.

"Adn, how did he get out of those bombs?" Armerio asked incredulously. Adn scratched his head, and said,
"Beats me."
After slicing up a few Kats, Kora said,
"Data found a closer way to the elevator, and she's found a way to trigger the bombs already, follow me!"
Kana threw her Proto Sword in the air, hitting the trailing Kodokuna in his head, HARD. He yelled in denial.
"I'm gona miss that sword," Kana sighed. Kodokuna threw a rock, hitting a mecha knight, which exploded on impact.
"Come on, I worked all night on that one!" Adn yelled, setting another Shivermist Buster, which just barely caught Kodokuna's foot. He threw his Silent Nightblade, which hit the elevator button, then went down with it.
"It'll be back in a minute," Gunshot said nervously.
"The question is, can you last a minute?" Kodokuna asked. Gunshot replied with an Argent Peacemaker charge, Kodokuna CAUGHT the phoenix, and threw it back to the party, all of whom except Gunshot, dodged. Gunshot was knocked out. The remainingseven of Adn's mecha knights were destroyed one by one with a Sentenza. Armerio was the next to go forward. Kodokuna summoned his Silent Nightblade from the depths of the Clockworks. The Cold Iron Carver and Silent Nightblade clashed. Armerio ducked under a swipe and made a swipe of his own. Kodokuna barely got out of the way. While the swords clashed the elevator was heard rumbling upwards. Koda put more energy into his swipes, forcing Armerio into a defensive strategy, Finally, Koda was a little slow on his swipe, Armerio skipped out the way, and pulled out his Silversix. He drilled shots into Kodokuna's frame, who let go of the Silent Nightblade, which was snatched up by Kana. But Kodokuna wasn't done yet. He drew his Sentenza and fired at Armerio, who was forced to retreat. He gave a salute, and jumped backwards, followed into the elevator shaft by the rest of the squad (and Kana, who yelled "BYE!!") Armerio gave a tired sigh and smiled and Kora.
"We did it," he said.

They came face to face with Commander Blue fending off a LOT of Kats. They looked at each other in disbelief.
"Well, don't just stand there, help!!" the Commander yelled. The squad ran into the action, ignorant of what had happened in the short time they were gone.

Somewhere, deep, deep, in the Core,a demented cackle echoed through the Clockworks.

So.... you know what to do.
And Kaiju, what new sword do you want, cause, Kana has your sword now.

@Isekuube- I guesss I didn't NEED to put the continual Graveyards there, really... ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE was there for emphasis though.

@Kaijuhunter- SIX STARS?! Fine.. but don't expect it to be TOO MUCH stronger, that would be unfair, it's already infused with shadows.
By the way if you want me to put more of your actual weapons in the story, just leave a post.

Sneak Peek at Chapter III, Part I: Haven: Arcade

Armerio ran into the action hacking at the KAts attacking Commander Blue, who was starting to go over the deep end with the stress. She screamed at Kora,
"GO! The Weapons Store! NOW!!" Kora signalled for Gunshot to follow her. Adn and Kana stayed with Armerio and the Commander, where the highest concentration of undeads and fiends were. And snapped his fingers again, and more mecha knights, about 10, ran in to help. Armerio asked Commander Blue between shooting down Devilites,
"How did this happen?"
Commander Blue hit down a Devilte, used her Leviathan Blade to kill some Howlitzers, and said,
"They just flooded in from the gates, and started attacking the weapon store," Blue explained. Armerio shot downa Kat with a Magnus, then shoved his Iceburst Brandish into a Devilite.
"Let's go, then," he said.
"We have to keep some of them here, to put less pressure on the knights defending the weapons store," Kana said. Adn froze the gates and said,
"Problem solved." A Devilte threw it's pitch fork right on his revivor, which broke. His mecha knights carried him away. The Shivermist Buster, which indeed did freeze the gates, stopped any more monsters from coming through.
"Smart kid," Armerio said. The Commmander cut down some zombies, and said
"Alright, let's go to the weapons store now," Kana, up to her neck in devilites, burnt them to a crisp and said,
"Gladly obliged."

Kora and Gunshot stood back to back firing into the crowd of Devilites. When they had arrived, they saw them carrying out dark weapons into the gates, which for some reason, were now frozen. A devilte shouted something back, and the rest realised they were trapped. The overtimers (fire) started hurling fireballs at the gates to create an escape. The rest of deviltes and undeads hurled themselves at the knights. Kora herself was bitten several times at once by Bloogatos, being frozen at once. Gunshot had somehow manged to remain undamaged, with his Argent Peacemaker, he fired several rounds into the doors of the weapons store, the heat melting them shut.
"There." he said, definitely exhausted. The devilites were smart enough to realise what had happened, and huddled up against the gates. The undeads were smart enough to follow their lead. Kora, angry as ever, said,
"I'll take care of them."
Her Nitronome killed all the monsters there, freeing the gates at the same time.
"What the heck happened?" she asked. Databank cleared her throat, and said,
"It's simple really, the undeads raided our dark weapons so they can improve on them, and eventually kill us all,"
Kana, Armerio, and Commander Blue arrived just in time to hear that.
"But how could Kodokuna retaliate THAT quickly?" Kana asked. Adn arrived to hear that.
"Who said Kodokuna is the one behind all of this?" he asked. A straggler, devilte yesman, dropped at Kora's feet.
"It is not Kodokuna who sent us, o powerful one," he whimpered.
"Who did, then?" Armerio asked. The devilite got even more scared at the sight of Armerio with a Carver in his hand.
"THE CRIMSON ORDER!" the little dude screamed. He then proceeded to bail into the gate, screaming for help. Armerio shook his head in pity.
"Crimson Order, where that gremlin Seerus was from?" he asked.
"Yea, that's it, i've been dying to find out more about them," Databank interjected.
"They go around doing what Tinkinzar wants, right?"Armerio asked.
"That's pretty much all they do," Kora said.
"Seerus wasn't much of a challenge," Lieutenant Feron said in reply.
"Then again, he was only a weapons man," Kora said.
"I'm sure inventing the Roarmulus Twins would put him high up in the order," Kana said.
"Only if it had worked on us," Armerio laughed. Kora slapped him in the head.
"So, if Kodokuna isn't behind this, he's only a pawn," she said.
"I wouldn't say pawn," Armerio replied, reflecting on his fight with Kodokuna. There was a heavy silence in the room. Then Databank asked the question on all their minds.

"If Kodokuna isn't the biggest threat, and it's Tinkinzar, what's the real plan? What do we have to be ready for? What's next?"
"I'm going to need the Biotechs to analyse the samples from the undead, we need to know what we're in for," Commander Blue said. The heavy silence continued in the Arcade, as knights were faced with a new, much more dangerous reality.

Chapter 4, (how can you put on a part two after that chapter)

Chapter 4: Firestorm Citadel

Kodokuna walked to the Firestorm Citadel, swordless, and with a damaged ego. So it was pleasant at least, to have Almirians bowing at his feet (undead, for the record). He pondered his next move. Kana had gotten the best of him in the Graveyard, he had to ensure that didn't happen again, if he wanted to take over Haven. Now that he had gotten his a** kicked, he was thinking it would be better to have the Spiralians as slaves.
THAT would be nice, Kodokuna thought with a grin. Something interrupted his thoughts, a devilite carrying a Faust stumbled into the throne room, laying the sword at his feet, and flying away immediately. The same happened with all the Devilites until eventually, Kodokuna had tried out evry weapon brought to him. None of them felt right to him. Kodokuna heard a voice in his head, saying

Come...come...come..to me....
So Koda did what the voice said.

Haven: Arcade

Commander Blue's head was sick with distress. What were the knights to do about the potentially catastrophic siuation they were in? If Tinkinzar was behind this all, the the knights were dealing with an enemy they knew NOTHING about. Except probably that he wanted them dead. If only they had captured Seerus, maybe they would be able to secure some answers from the coward, or even his lab, which he rather unfortunately blew up. The knights were waiting for a decision in a couple minutes...

Kodokuna stepped into the core where he saw a sword laying right in front of him.

Commander Blue had an idea.
***
Kodokuna picked up the sword, admiring its craftmanship and radiating shadow power.
***
Commander Blue decided her idea was the only thing they could do.
***
Kodokuna practiced using the sword, it felt at home in his hands.
***
Commander Blue rose from her seat.
***
Now the voice told Koda, FREE....free....free...me....
***
Commander Blue faced the mass of knights in the Arcade.
***
Koda pushed his sword into the ground, splitting it open.
***
Commander Blue related her idea of four beta squads going into the depths of the Clockworks, to find and kill Tinkinzar, and capture Kodokuna.
The knights were appalled, considering what happened to the Alpha Squad. Blue sighed, knowing that her decision would not go over well.

A black gremlin stepped out of the ground before it resealed, nodding to Kodokuna, simply saying,
"We'll be in touch."

So that's all, we'll have some action in the next chapter, tell me what you think.

Chapter 5 is here!

Haven: Arcade

The Ruby Phantom gate rumbled to life. Kora, Armerio, Commander Blue and Kana, eyes already on the gate, jumped in surprise. To their surprise, the squad assigned to stay at the Core ran out, nearly falling over themselves. Wide-eyed, they stopped and saluted Commander Blue and Kana with surprising dignity.
"What are you guys doing up here?" Commander Blue asked skeptically. Vaeyln stepped forward, panic in her eyes and voice, and said
"A dark knight entered the Core, CUT it open, and a black gremlin stepped out,"
"Do you want to repeat that for me?" Kora asked.
"No..." Vaeyln replied.
"I got it, Kora," Armerio said.
"I don't believe it, Kodokuna set Tinkinzar free.." Commander Blue said.
"Well believe this, there's a mass of dark monsters with WEAPONS coming to Haven, set the defense at the town square," Kora said.
"Weapons? Oh....I forgot," Armerio replied.
"Go get Adn and Gunshot, I want you to get some people to fight in the Bazaar, get the Strangers out of there while you're at it," Commander Blue said.
"I'll go with," Kana said.
"No Kana, you're here with Kora and me," Commander Blue said. Kora, after some prompting from Commander Blue, pressed the panic button. The alarm blared through Haven, scaring even the snipes off.
"Leggo," Armerio said.
"Let me come," Databank said. Armerio looked at Kora pleadingly, who reluctantly nodded. Armerio took Databank's hand and they set off for Adn and Pow, with the help of Data's locator device (her own creation).

Firestorm Citadel

The black gremlin materialized in front of Kodokuna.
"Throw some warning when you do that, this is a shadow sword," Koda rumbled. Tinkinzar grunted in reply, uncaring.
"So why are you here?" Koda grunted.
"What have you done in your fill-in reign for me?" Tinkinzar snapped, getting right to the point. Kodokuna opened his mouth, and Tinkinzar cut across him.
"I'll tell you, you have done NOTHING! Except get BEAT UP by a ragtag group of knights!" he yelled, raising some of the Almirians from the dead, for a second of course.
"You have sent an impressive force to weaken Haven however, undoubtedly weakening them, which puts me in the frame of mind to overlook your defeat," he continued.
"Aww.. so sweet...Now, what are you really here for?" Kodokuna asked, drawing his new sword. Tinkinzar jumped back, drawing a Warhammer.
"Seerus," Koda smiled. He disappeared in a puff of black smoke, reappearing behind Tinkinzar, shoving his sword where Tinkinzar was supposed to be, then quickly dodging the Warhammer charge attack. He shot Tinkinzar in the foot with his Sentenza, smiling as he did. Tinkinzar jammed the butt of his dark axe into Kodokuna, knocking the wind out of him. Kodkuna slashed Tinkinzar's face three times, pride swelling as he did.

Haven: Bazaar

"Are they coming?" Armerio asked, obviously bored.
"In an hour or two," Databank replied, just as bored. Adn was prepping his mecha knights for the coming battle, Pow was gettting his guns primed and ready, and other knights were doing various things to pass the time and get ready.
"So have you guys found out why the dark monsters are so strong?" Armerio asked Databank.
"No.. except that it has NOTHING at all to do with the Shadow Lairs.
"Nothing at all?" Armerio asked.
"Abotu as together as Gunshot and me..." Databank trailed off, gazing into the distance.
"What is it?" Armerio asked.
"Those knights, are they playing a game or something? They're very unprofessional," she said in a disgusted tone.
"No, something's hitting them.. but what? I don't see anything," Armerio said.
"My radar doesn't pick anything up either," Data said. On hearing that, Adn set a couple of Shivermist Busters around them, saying
"I don't like the look of this." Pow backed off slowly, weirded out, not realisng he was outside the circle of bombs. He got chopped down quicker that a gremlin chopping a timber.
"What the heck..." Armerio said. The bombs finally wore off. The three knights were immediately assaulted. Armerio swiped his Carver, hitting something, and revealing a Devilite with a Faust.
"Fragile radar-proof suits," he said. He pulled one off a Kat and stuffed it into his pocket. Knights all around were realising the same thing, but their health was already cut down a lot. Data shielded and gunned, excited to have a change of pace in the action, she still had not been hit.
"They have weapons," Adn said (he was knocked out for most of the raid).
"Yea, but we knew that already," Armerio said, ducking a zombie Faust swipe. Adn shoved his Nitronome into the zombie. It wasn't pretty, but it cleared space around the three. Databank revived Pow just before the two minute time was up. The monsters may have been well equipped, but they couldn't use the weapons. And they knew it. One, by one, the monsters disappeared.
"That's it?" Databank said, amazed.
"This attack was just to weaken us, and it did, in more ways than one," Adn said.
"How so?" Armerio asked.
"Look around," Databank replied for Adn. The Bazaar was destroyed, Strangers dead, even snipes dead (of coure the Devilites saw them as threats, they were the same size..).
"Well dang," Pow said, which basically summed up the feelings of everybody.
"Let's head back," Armerio said.

FSC
Tinkinzar was down for half a second. Then he was behind Kodokuna, hacking into him with his axe, bringing Koda to his knees.
"And you got beat up again...it's a good thing i'm here to take over," Tinkinzar said. So that was it, the little gremlin thought he was going to rule Cradle. The punk was going to have him do the dirty work while he watched back in..wherever gremlins go. Kodokuna disappeared.
"And fleeing on the job, that's just-----" Tinkinzar was cut off, literally.
Koda had cut off his head.
"I run this place, get that, ok gremlin trash?" he said to the air smugly.

UPRISING SHADOWS OF CRADLE: PART II: THE BETA SQUADS
Chapter 6: Part I
Haven: Arcade

Commander Blue's Beta squad idea had gone through. It had taken a LOT of consideration, but the knights eventually realised that it was the best thing to do. Now there was the task of actually selecting the squads. Sixteen knights were going to go down into the Clockworks, and they had to pick the best possible sixteen. Armerio, Pow, Adn and Kana were the only ones who had really experienced the Clockworks dark monsters, so they would be assigned to one of the squads. So that left twelve knights to be selected. Commander Blue groaned.
"What's the matter, Commander?" Adn asked.
"How will I select the other twelve knights?" she asked the young knight.
"Who said you had to select them? You already selected the captains, so let us do the rest," Adn replied. Armerio overheard and groaned.
"I'm gonna have to evaluate people, I don't want any trouble with people thinking they should be on a squad," he whined.
"Considering the Alpha Squad, I don't think people really WANT to be on a squad," Adn replied. Considering that, Armerio shut up.
"Ok knights, a dueling tournament will be held in three days, and the captains of the various squads will be selecting their troops in the following day. The day after the announcements are made, the four squads will embark into the Clockworks," Commander Blue announced. There was a collective buzz of excitement in the knights, who were actually hoping to land a spot on a Beta squad, which was exactly was Armerio had hoped wouldn't happen.
"Greeat, they're excited," Armerio said sarcastically. Adn rolled his eyes and slapped Armerio in the head.
"Get some people skills," Adn said. Armerio laughed.

Firestorm Citadel

"What is the meaning of this?" Kodokuna asked the trembling gremlin. After learning that Tinkinzar had been murdered, the Crimson Order had decided to surrender to Kodokuna. Not that they had a choice, as Koda was contemplating wiping them out.
"My leige, we thought you would be in need of assistants," the gremlin lieutenant whimpered.
"Well, you're smart for such a race of imbeciles. So where did you find this?" he asked, pointing to the knocked out knight.
"Smoldering steps,"the gremlin said.
"So he thought he would take me down by himself did he? We'll wake him up soon enough," Kodokuna smiled to himself.
"Yes my leige," the gremlin said, and ran out of the throne room. Kodokuna shook his head, and called
"SULLIVAN!"

The Pit Boss that 'worked' for King Krogmo floted into the room, escorted by some Fiery Overtimers. The deviltes bowed deeply (their heads touched the ground, not that it was hard for them to do that though)
"Report," Kodokuna ordered.
"Commander Blue is planning to send four squads into the Clockworks to elimnate all threats to Spiralians, including you, sir. The squads will be deployed in about five days," Sullivan said.
"Then the elevators must be destroyed before that," Kodokuna said simply.
"But how? Will you destroy them sir?" Sullivan asked. Kodokuna looked at his new sword, his Thanatos, which had the power to destroy an elevator in a few swipes.
"No, if I leave right now, the gremlins will take advantage of my absence and seize the throne, and I don't need two major enemies right now," Kodkuna replied.
"Then how?" Sullivan asked.
"The elevators do have a slight weakness to high voltage, so... we plant mulitple Voltaic Tempests in the elevators and time them , with this device I took from Kora when I was still a knight," Koda said.
"Who will plant them?" Sullivan asked.
"You of course," Kodokuna said, scoffing. Sullivan was shocked. Well, he was of course a pit boss, he didn't like work.
"If the knights make it into the Clockworks, you will die, count on that," Kodokuna seethed. Speechless, Sullivan floated away. Kodokuna had a headache.

Satoshi is kind of a wise guy but is funny and enjoyable to be around. But in battle, he is almost as merciless as Koda

Bio: The twin brother of Koda, Satoshi was raised to be a great swordsman. He always outshone Koda in everything; academics, combat training, etc. He knew Koda was jealous of him, but still loved his brother unconditionally and when their village was attacked, had even almost sacrificed his life for his brother. He now bears a scar across his chest from defending Koda before. But he and his brother were seperated, and now Satoshi wanders around, searching for him. The only things the two brothers share is their hatred for Almire , their skill with swords, and their ferocity in combat.

Aria is kind, loving and caring, but a bit easy to irritate. She had a difficult past but is still happy to lucky. Although she fights a lot, she isnt a bad medic either. She sometimes goes into a berserker mode when an evil spirit takes over her body.

Weapons: Argent peacemaker with Fang of Vog

Bio: Once one of Lord Vanaduke's trusted vanguard and a friend of Kana, Aria was a born warrior. She was one of those hero people, the ones who rose from poverty and towards greatness. her past was harder than most knew... when her kind mother and stern father were killed, Aria's brother took over and tried to support her, but he was killed too. Aria went to the woods and was raised fully by a pack of Ash Tails, then became a grunt of the Almirian forces. When she was there, the same evil spirit that controls Koda himself offered her a contract: exchange some of her own sanity for more power. aria wanted to protect those that she loved, wanted to never let anything bad happen again, and accepted. She quickly became a better warrior, but word has it that she had once tried to destroy a village when the evil spirit overcame her.

Misc: Aria is overly kind and will almost never kill an enemy. She secretly loves candy and has a bit of a craving for it

Yea, school's starting again (last term, finally..) so I gotta go. But i'll leave you with this part, here you go!

Chapter 6, Part II
Haven: King Krogmo's Colliseum

It was Adn's idea to have all hopefuls play some Lockdown matches with, wait for it, real monsters as well as knights in the game. Armerio fell off his chair laughing when Adn told him it would be a surprise. Gunshot and Kana smiled at the thought of knights panicking when they saw the monsters in the game. The knights were assigned numbers to ensure that there would be no bias if the knights knew the names. They were also all put in Trojan disguises to hide their looks. The teams were made up of only four members also, like a Clockworks party. There were 10 teams.
"We're picking 12 knights out of 40, this should be easy," Gunshot said.
"Tell me about it, at least we're watching them hit themselves," Armerio said. Kana smiled at that thought. The first match was about to begin.
"Forest, my fave place," Armerio said.

Arcade
Sullivan couldn't believe his break. All the knights had gone out to watch the tournament. He was now free to do Kodokuna's dirty work. That's all he was really, the dirty job man. At least Kodokuna was a better boss than Krogmo. Maybe he'd plant one of the tempests in Krogmo's clothes, that would be funny. He nervously flew to the nearest elevator and planted five tempests in that one. He did the same for the next two, but before he could sabotage the other one, he heard a voice shout
"You! Devilite there! What are you doing?"
Sullivan turned to face the knight, a four star equipped knight, her sword already halfway to him.
"I thought I heard something over here," Sullivan replied confidently.
"And why would you care if someone was attacking us?" the knight asked.
"Because i'd be trapped here too, I work for Krogmo," Sullivan shot back. The knight rolled her eyes and considered that statement.
"Whatever, just know that if anything happens, I WILL find you, trust me, I gotta get back to the Colliseum anyway, count yourself lucky," the knight said.
As soon as she stepped out the door, Sullivan planted the rest of the bombs and went back to his post. Never again, he thought to himself.

King Krogmo's Colliseum: Forest

The first match, between Team 1 and Team 7 had begun. The gates had just opened. Knight #1 of Team 7 rushed out of the gate, and to the north path to secure that CP. He was a striker. The Team 7 knights were coming quickly, so he ran behind the trees.
"I swore someone was here," one of the knights said. Knight #1 fired his gun at the two knights and ran around to the CP again. By the time he got around again the two knights were gone, looking for him. He smiled.

"Nice move," Armerio said. Kana smiled, she recognised that strategy. After all, she was the first one she knew to do it.

Knight 12 from Team 1 was the first to discover the monsters, and he had found a trojan. She fired a couple rounds into it's crystal and ran through the trees, firing again. She ran through the trees again, taking care that the trojan didn't see her. But as an added bonus of the new shadow power, the dark monsters were smarter as well. After being hit, the trojan smashed it's sword into the trees, hitting Knight 12.

Adn winced. Gunshot covered his eyes.

Knight 40 from Team 1 had discovered the trojan seemingly attacking the trees. He was then mysteriously shot by the trees. So, he screamed his head off (trust me, trees attacking you is not a nice scenario)

"Discouraging," Kana said.
"Would you like a tree to attack you?" Armerio asked. Kana considered that, and said
"I wouldn't scream my head off."
"Point taken," Armerio said

Knight 40, freaked out by his situation, commenced to hacking the trojan and trees. Knight 12, a recon, disappeared and tried sneaking behind Knight 40. He was alerted, as Knight 12 was within the 5 yard circle. He swung his sword around, only to be met with metal from a girl knight, who shot him in the face.

"Ooh..go Knight 12!" Armerio said. Adn rolled his eyes and said
"It was a nice reaction from Knight 40 though."
"Yea, true,"Gunshot said.
"But for Knight 12 to come out like that while battling a trojan at the same time, awesome. Plus she didn't sweat it when Knight 40 arrived either, she even had the sass to shoot him in the face. Gotta love that," Armerio said.
"True," Kana said.

After Knight 40 luckily escaped Knight 12. Knight 6 of Team 1 was fending off some zombies from his team's CP. When the monsters had a CP it turned brown, interstingly. He sliced one zombie, shot another, ducked a third, ran out and shot them all in the back. Only to get hit from behind by a devilite. He turned around, shoved his sword into the devilite, and jumped out of the way of a zombie jump, only to have to shield in an instant from zombie breath. Knight 1 had now arrived to cause more stress for Knight 6. Knight 6 threw a branch at Knight 1, and thankfully, more of his team arrived. They started to take care of the monsters, so Knight 6 went to Knight 1, who saw him coming. He ran. Knight 6 disappeared and went after him. He found him with Knight 18, a Guardian. They were slowly walking towards him. Knight 6 did the only thing he could, if he wanted that CP of course. He took his bomb and set it right in front of them.

Armerio laughed.

Knight 12 was running, yes running from a couple of knights, with her Guardian shield, plus, the fact that it was Strikers chasing her, she was losing ground. She turned around and started battling the three knights with her sword.

"That's it! I want her," Armerio said.
"Seriously? I was just about to say that," Kana said.
"Too bad," Armerio replied.
'I'll take her teammate there, Knight 36, he just left that CP to help her," Adn said.
'Oh come on! I don't have anyone yet! You two are going to take all the good ones!" Gunshot complained.
'You snooze you lose, simple," Kana said.

Knight 12 and Knight 36 had secured the CP. Knight 36 volunteered to stay, and keep any Team 7 knights off. Knight 13 from Team 7 was the first to encounter Knight 36 like this.
"Oh good luck keeping me off," she said. Darkfang gremlins had just appeared behind her.
"Attack," she said. The gremlins obeyed.

"Holy snipe crap," Armerio said.
"Mine!" Gunshot snapped.

Knight 13 moved on to the only white CP left. She stepped on it. Knight 12 seemingly materialised out of thin air.
"We meet again,” she said. In response, Knight 13 pulled her sword. They clashed. It was the final thirty seconds of the match. Knight 12 shoved Knight 13 off the CP, standing on it herself. She proceeded to shoot Knight 13's feet, trying to keep her off the CP. Knight 13 tackled Knight 12, sword first. Their swords clanged repeatedly, they were evenly matched. The horn sounded, and the CP was still white.
"Dang," they both said.

'I'm taking 13," Kana said.

None of the other matches were as exciting as that one. It took Armerio all five matches to pick his full team, skipping the fourth. Kana found two gems in the third match.Gunshot found one in the second, and one in the fifth. Adn found one in the third, and one in the fourth. The teams were ready, now all that was left was announcing, and diving into the quest.
"Can't wait," they all said.

Hey everyone!

How are you guys? I've got exams coming, so i'm a nervous wreck. Joking. But only about the nervous wreck part. Kaiju, both those characters are accepted. Satoshi provides me with a great twist (I think). Aria's a good character, I was planning to put another Almirian in the story anyway, (give Koda someone else to worry about). What is it with you killing the knight's parents though. It's like taking on a bunch of orphans...lol..

Aria will be on Kana's team (Knight 13), so there. I won't tell you where Satoshi is yet, you'll find out next chapter. And finally, welcome back Atgatg! That's about it, writing the next chapter right now, so see you on soon!
